Endgame Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 A magical diamond ring with the word "Galice" etched into it. 1/6 chance of stunning the targeted enemy on a successful hit/ shield. 1/3 chance versus Proggs. Sent to Galen. You little sonuvagun. Sorry I won't be able to update today! Christmas and such. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 You little sonuvagun. Sorry I won't be able to update today! Christmas and such. Hahahaha! They'd be as stunned by the ship as everyone else... Or more so. As she's their Nurse, I'm sure they'll get the joke. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Zepher Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Grogmas has most certainly prevented me from updating today, so take a day to appreciate all the things in the real world, and marvel at how unlike in Heroica, not everything is trying to kill you. Its just lovely. I love the Grogmas event and will be sure to post. Happy holidays to all once more! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Let's all suggest that JimB get a Cloak of the Red Assassin. Then we get CMP to give him the Sword of Ancestral Hatred and watch the enemies fall and the WP soar. Quote
Zepher Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 That's the true Holiday Spirit of giving. Trying to min max another player. Quote

CMP Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Then we get CMP to give him the Sword of Ancestral Hatred and watch the enemies fall and the WP soar. I don't know about giving... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 I don't know about giving... Work out a deal to get the sword back after it's WP: 94 or so. Assassins don't need WP to kill stuff quickly. Quote
The Legonater Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Let's all suggest that JimB get a Cloak of the Red Assassin. I have the cash- I'd have bought it myself if I could only end up in the right quest. Quote
JimBee Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 OoC: I awkwardly... and I kid you not, JUST figured out why QM's use the > symbol. Super super smart. What ARE they used for? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 What ARE they used for? Denoting a hero in the Back Row.Oh, by the way, can we suggest more than one hero to receive a gift for Grogmas? I thought it sounded like we could only list one, but Zepher listed multiple (serious) suggestions. Quote
JimBee Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Denoting a hero in the Back Row. Well I've finally joined the club of knowing what they meant, then. Thanks. Quote
The_Customizer Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Merry Grogma--- I mean Christmas everyone! With the Grogmas thing up and running, is it possible to post there even if we are in a quest? Quote
Sandy Posted December 26, 2012 Author Posted December 26, 2012 Looks neat, are the replies to be given in character I assume? In-character or out-of-character, either one is fine. I would assume these are in-game gifts? Of course! I'm not going to buy anyone an Arkham Asylum or a Bag End set, so don't even think about that. Oh, by the way, can we suggest more than one hero to receive a gift for Grogmas? I thought it sounded like we could only list one, but Zepher listed multiple (serious) suggestions. Since these are only suggestions, you may suggest as many presents as you like. I will handpick the best ones and fulfill them. With the Grogmas thing up and running, is it possible to post there even if we are in a quest? You don't have to stress yourself by figuring out how to get your character into the Hall. Just post out-of-character if you like. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 (edited) Glad that the idea is being put to use!! Edited December 26, 2012 by Skyrimguy Quote

Flare Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 The Bow of Patience sounds really cool, nice idea The_Customiser, it really would be a dream gift for Benji Quote
The_Customizer Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 The Bow of Patience sounds really cool, nice idea The_Customiser, it really would be a dream gift for Benji Just a little idea I came up with, figuring that there aren't any other types of weapons like that in the game (that I know of) Quote
Rumble Strike Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 I worked out the > thing a while ago, but it has taken me until now to realise how useful the Multi-Quote button is! Quote
Zepher Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 (edited) More Lucky Die are.. unlikely to exist, but I do like the idea of gifting things that already exist. 75% of chance . It's a nice idea, but about 0 QMs would take you on Quests, because no one wants to do that math. It takes me about 45 minutes to update the current battle, and there is no silly 75% chances in the math right now. Advice for item creation - dice rolls are nice %'s, since we're already rolling them. So, 1/6, 1/3, 1/2 are all nice things to multiple by, as are 2-6 chances of something happening. Finally, someone better think of Boomingham this Holiday season. He was more than generous. Good will towards Skrall?! That should be getting him so many nice points with Father Grogmas. CMP - Summons cost 1 ether every turn they are around, according to the rules, no matter how many times they attack. Edited December 26, 2012 by Zepher Quote
Rumble Strike Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Glad to know it's not just me that finds calculating the battles a huge timesink. Quote
Endgame Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Keep in mind random.org has a number picker, so you simply set the min-max to 1-4. And if you get a 4... too bad. Yes, I always set aside 15-30 minutes for each round of a battle. Quote
CMP Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 (edited) CMP - Summons cost 1 ether every turn they are around, according to the rules, no matter how many times they attack. Oh, yeah. I was thinking of Undead, I thought they were almost identical to elemental summons. Sorry for all the corrections, been way too long since I was in a battle, I'm excited as all hell for more. Sandy Posted December 26, 2012 Author Posted December 26, 2012 CMP - Summons cost 1 ether every turn they are around, according to the rules, no matter how many times they attack. That's not quite accurate. Summons cost 1 ether on the turn they attack. They don't expend ether on the rounds they are summoned, dismissed or when they perform a Summon Burst. They also don't expend ether in the rare situations when they do not attack (such as is the case in Quest#50 now). Quote
