The Legonater Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 If anyone in the Apothecary in Quest 53 can manage to pick up a couple of Meads for Nyx while they're there I'd be most grateful, and she'll obviously pay back the 20 gold. I'm sure some communication via Vipera from Nyx's currently unconscious brain will cover the continuity issues. Thanks. At some point in this quest, Dyric is going to need a lot more Smelling Salts... Quote
Flipz Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Not at the Apothecary prices; there's a reason Arthur didn't buy any more Nostrum. Pandora, I bought the Meads for you, plus an extra for whoever else most needs it. Quote

CMP Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 (edited) For future reference (luckily I don't think it'd've had an impact on that battle) - how do two Wardens with an Aura work? I assumed the most recent Aura rolled would draw the attacks, I just want to make sure it's correct. Edited January 10, 2013 by CallMePie Quote
Flipz Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 (edited) Answer: kill both Wardens. Zeph, could you please update our stats with Arthur's purchases, please? Edited January 10, 2013 by Flipz Quote
Sandy Posted January 10, 2013 Author Posted January 10, 2013 For future reference (luckily I don't think it'd've had an impact on that battle) - how do two Wardens with an Aura work? I assumed the most recent Aura rolled would draw the attacks, I just want to make sure it's correct. I'd say they both draw in the attacks, alternating between the two of them. Would that be difficult to execute, do you think? Quote
CMP Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Not really. I suppose it would be beneficial to both Wardens even more. Quote
Debricker Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I need help creating a character, new to all this, can someone walk me through the steps? Quote
Zepher Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Answer: kill both Wardens. Zeph, could you please update our stats with Arthur's purchases, please? Yup, just on the move, and your update required more text. It's a busy two days. Will be up tomorrow morning or evening, sorry, I'm on a museum binge. The Scream was in town today, so I had to see him. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I need help creating a character, new to all this, can someone walk me through the steps? You decide which class you want to be and build a minifig to be your character. (not necessarily in that order; also, if you don't have the pieces for the minifig you want, you can ask here and see if someone else can build it for you) Then you post your starting stats in the pinned Statistics topic (the starting stats for each class are outlined in the rules in the first post of this topic) and introduce your hero in the Hall topic. Sandy Posted January 10, 2013 Author Posted January 10, 2013 I need help creating a character, new to all this, can someone walk me through the steps? I'll help you get started: 1. Read the first post of this topic with thought. 2. Choose a starting class out of those mentioned in the first post: would you like to play a brutal Barbarian, a healing Cleric, a defensive Knight, a spell-flinging Mage, an arrow-shooting Ranger or a thieving Rogue? 3. Create your character using the instructions in the first post: make up a name suitable for the setting, choose the gender and age and race, and fill in other required information. 4. Build a minifig and take a photo of it to represent your character (you can ask help for this, there are several people who are happy to do it for you). 5. Post the character information to the Heroica Statistics topic located on top of this subforum. 6. Finally, introduce your character to the game at the Heroica Hall topic, telling us for example why he or she has decided to join the organization. There are currently no new quests for you to join in, but I'll notify everyone when one pops up. Quote
Debricker Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 so, the status depends on what class you are in, correct? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 so, the status depends on what class you are in, correct? The starting stats? Yes, they are different for each class. (well, HP and Ether are; Level and Power are, of course, all the same when you start out) Each class also starts out with a different item: a Mead for Barbarians, a Remedy for Clerics, a Shield (SP: 2) for Knights, an elemental gem for Mages, a Smoke Bomb for Rangers or a Venom for Rogues. PsyKater Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Chris checks out the Flower Pot. "Sorry Cinna, again." There are three pots with a bonsai tree growing in them. Which one will Christopher investigate? QM Note: Do you guys even look at the pictures I take?! They aren't just for flavor... Chris Checked the tree on the left, with the dark green leaves. Obviously not. Quote
