Sure, The Regret can just teleport him there.

Actually, that wouldn't work, since Nerwen is wearing the Shackles of War.

...That technically is within the realm of plausibility, given what our pal Prometheus is up to. It'd also be deep within the realm of stupidity, so pass.

Fine, it'd just give her the Afraid effect. We don't want her running off anyway.

You name it (it has to be something with "Zoot" in the title), and it becomes a weapon suitable only to your character with a WP equal to 2/3 of your current level.

So could I pick something outside my weapon class, like an axe or a club? Just curious.

Fun fact, if the Master hadn't ticked Arthur off, I was (OOC) trying to think of some deal where Arthur could have sold The Regret's soul to the Master in exchange for some sort of boon of some kind--preferably one that would have let him destroy the Master and The Regret and Wren.

You'd have to ask Zeph. I know the weapon I have in mind falls well outside any traditional weapon class, so...

You may turn it into any WEAPON. The type doesn't matter, because it only and always works for you.

A special thanks to the handsome and talented Zepher for our newest Interlude. ( :look::devil::grin: )

Well, you guys only have 3 players... I have 10 (Why do I have ten again?! Who would do that to themselves?) Besides, between my walls of text and Flipz's walls of text, and all my players aspiring walls of text writers....

Toldja you were out of your tree.

The plot thicknes, and Wren seems to have snapped completely and utterly.... She used capslock! :enough: :tongue

This keeps getting better and better, Zepher - though I wonder how Alexis turned into an assassin, both sotry and gameplay mechanics wise.

That seems a bit mechanic bend-y, though. I don't know, it just seems like the Copper Fox is required for mechanic-changing, being the jack-of-all-trades and all. To be honest, I wanted to provide a NPC to train any of the heroes on 48 who reached 15 into an advanced class, but I thought it'd be messing with the fabric of reality game mechanics.

53 is on 29 pages Already! We in Quest 42 are only on 32 in a much longer space of time. *oh2*

Check Quests 17 and 31 (and 30).

Also note how Alexis posted in the Training Room right before Q53 but didn't change classes. I'm disappointed the Firnen bit had to be cut, but it has been a long time coming, and I know Masked has been working hard on it.

I gave permission for Masked Builder to change Alexis's class mid-quest this one time only, since he asked so nicely. It was all predetermined and planned ahead, not a spontaneous thing. Some people just choose to go to odd lengths for the sake of roleplaying...

In any case, this is not an "okay" for everyone to start switching their classes on the fly.

Herpidy-derp. That starts to make a bit more sense now, I had assumed it was just some roleplaying to show her reluctance to turn Harlot.

Death's Homecoming is the longest quest by quite a ways as far as posts are concerned, and we started 42 2 months before them, but it's been a fun quest, when something's been happening.

I'm enjoying this last battle. It's rather challenging I have to say.

It would have been much easier if we had the sense to paralyzingly envenomate Sarge's blade on round one. Let's hope for good rolls for you and Erdy and a bad roll for me, so that I don't need to waste ether. :innocent:

To be fair, I think it would make sense that Dyric trained her.

Yes, I apologize I cut the line, but Wren doesn't care enough about individual people for her to say that.

Really? She always struck me as the type that would address specific people and get under the nerves in a Kahn-sort of way.

Speaking as only one of the Dastan folks (and of course Sandy has her opinion)- Dastan would not, in my mind, have Werewolves. Maybe one or two, but Dastan is more a Russian + Northern African culture, and Werewolves aren't really big in either of their mythologies. But of course Werewolves are mobile creatures, so I guess they could be anywhere.

Okay. Is there a reason you want them there? They'd fit in well in Charis (already has vampires, those are both European-ish mythical creatures). I imagine they exist all over the High and Low Kingdoms. And right here in Uland!

Yes, well, normally she is, but now she's all kill kill kill. She doesn't care about the heroes anymore. She's done messing with them, she just wants them out of her way.
