JimBee Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Welcome back, Khorne! But we do need more quests soon, so keep those ideas and applications coming, people! I will be pitching my Rito quest to you very soon. So anyone wanting to become a Winged Warrior, keep your eyes peeled! Quote
UsernameMDM Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Anyway to adjust Mystic Knight's ENCHANT to include a hit for WP against target enemy if enough ether is not available? Changing the requirement from Enchantment on 10 ether has really killed the incentive to keep this class at higher levels. Quote
PsyKater Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Yay, Khorne is back!! I really hoped to see Eric back, soon. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 You don't think it's OP? I don't see what you mean. Quote
Palathadric Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 EDIT: Forgot to say I really like your quest Flare, very nice photography and great characters. You're right there. Nice work, Flare! Hey, maybe Eric can come and save the day for us if we screw ourselves over next round. It would be great to have you back! For some reason today I started really looking forward to seeing a reunion of the Jolly Roger party, but I thought that it wouldn't happen anytime soon because Khorne's not been around in a while. I guess it may be sooner than I expect. Eric and Maurice make a great team. Quote
Endgame Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 One miniature pagoda, comin' right up! Let's see how this pseudo continuous battle plays out. Quote
Palathadric Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 -snip- What components do you think quests for newbies should have to make them gain a better understanding of Heroica faster? Interesting to know as I'm hoping to host a quest for low-levelled heroes sometime in the (hopefully, near) future. Quote
Zepher Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Just to prove I don't find myself too mean, I have thought up three different alternative plans to turn the Guffington battle around and have everyone at (nearly) full health and revived by the end of the round. You guys can do it! Quote

You guys can do it! Then you can let us in on them. Quote
Tachyon Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 We should totally have something like the EB Heroica Awards for 2013 Quote
Zepher Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 I pitched that to Sandy way back last year, but it never went anywhere. It would be really fun, I think. Quote
Zepher Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 WBD strikes back. I'll have to think out a plan! Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 WBD strikes back. I'll have to think out a plan! I thought you'd run another round of our battle there for a minute. I'd forgotten that you're facing your own crisis. Now how to use that to our advantage... Quote
Flipz Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Wren kidnapped Zee for a hostage exchange (and got Triad killed and Mallelio wounded for it), perhaps that should give WBD some ideas? Quote
Flare Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 I'll admit that I'm not nearly as organized as Zepher - I just plan which enemies appear when, have a few preplanned specials, and give them a range (As in, HP: 300-400, SP: 4-8, Level: 23-25.) Confession? The shuffling mechanic for Aquos's battle was invented about an hour before the battle began. That is the worst offender, by far. I think that I am a worse offender... I choose most of my specials while I'm posting the first post of the battle Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 WBD strikes back. I'll have to think out a plan! Yeh, sorry about that, I really had planned on you rolling more than 2 hits in an entire 12 rounds. Quote
Flare Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 EDIT: Forgot to say I really like your quest Flare, very nice photography and great characters. The loot's been pretty awesome as well. Too bad I wasn't able to participate anymore . Hey man good to see you're back! thanks Quote
CMP Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 (edited) Atramor or Arthur could pop in and help if Quest 54's party could do the same in return in Quest 53. Awesome to see you back, Khorne. Edited January 23, 2013 by CallMePie Quote
Palathadric Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 We should totally have something like the EB Heroica Awards for 2013 I was actually just thinking of this yesterday. It would be quite awesome. Quote
Scorpiox Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Nice to see you back, Khorne! In other news, Arthur is allowed to return to the battle, isn't he? We need him right now. Quote
Zepher Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 (edited) No. People who flee may not return to combat. That would make fleeing basically a "never die" ability. I'm letting you use your once in a life time QM life-line right here and now and giving you some advice. Smelling salts are a blessing, especially with the mulled wine. Smelling salts will let you MUCH more easily control who takes which free hit. You also have two healers, one of whom counterstrikes. And if worse comes to worse and you need another ally... I hear Pogs are particularly scared of genies... Edited January 23, 2013 by Zepher Quote
PsyKater Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Is this stated somewhere in the rules that a Rogue (based) character automatically flees when he gets KO'd? I could not find it and I always thought they have to decide if they want to flee or not. Quote
