Who will then be killed by all the free hits afterwards!

Edit: I have changed it to 1 party member per round gets the chance to succumb to the Darkstar. It's still a threat but the risk is much less now.

Wow, I kind of feel bad for joeshmoe554 :sceptic: . Out of all possible heroes in Heroica, the first one Jeaux is having a conversation with, is a stuck-up, narcist (kind-of), Norse warrior who absolutely despises automatons  . Talk about bad luck. There goes your chance of making your first buddy  .

It's not so bad, 2/3 of the people he's interacted with so far have seemed rather pleasant, and he has fairly thick skin (It's made of wood after all  )

I'm sorry I wasn't able to give you a welcome early, Joeshmoe - however, I just checked the hall, and I gotta say I'm really impressed with your RP thus far The character concept of an automaton is great, an d the writing is on the same level. Enjoy the game - I'm interested to see where you'll go!

"Heroes, your party leader is right! It is a necessity for survival to use consumables! If we fail here, these Croise monsters will execute every man, woman, and child in this town! Je suis certain of it! Hold the line!"

QM: *Wink, wink, nudge, nudge* Use consumables.

Although is it really neccesary? Thalion has a 50% chance to knock out his target this turn, 1 in 6 chance to knock out 4 enemies this turn. The free hit will come to naught (viva la sp). Addmitedly everything could go wrong but it doesn't seem so bad to NEED to use consumables.

I agree, Joeshmoe has an excellent RP entrance. It isn't often that we see someone so new have a really neat and inventive new character.

Hey, WBD, you have the opportunity to Favor Beasts, since you rolled SHIELD. Not that I'd particularly advise it at the moment, but the option is there.

Thanks, but we should be able to pull this battle off without me having to switch.

IC: De'kra nodded, "I past lost to me for time, but it come back. I still not know my real name though. I remember I people though, you remind me little of them. They were made of gears and flesh, woven into bodies of living metal. Though they not...have children, new Matoran had to be made."

De'kra paused, and clicked, "you not hear of someone name Wren, or Doors of Chaos, have you?"

OOC: I might make a new NPC, maybe.

What about the one Arthur met on Q17?

Also, there have been a couple of new journal entries, particularly the one during the Master of Regret sequence.

He is still around, which reminds me, we may have something to discuss, depending on how busy my schedule is. I took a junior-senior level class, and I don't know how much I will regret it yet.

Where? I only found the song.

Thanks for the compliments, I spent a decent amount of time reading past quests and planning out a character before posting so I could come up with someone who was fun to play and make sure I would have some growth potential so I didn't end up painting myself into a corner.

I have a couple ideas for the character's personality, back story, and where I want to go with him, and I figure his amnesia will let me figure out the rest later. :sweet:

Good luck quest 55! If it seems hard, just know, there is a strategy to beat it.

Thanks Capt.JohnPaul, hopefully luck will serve us and we get some better dice rolls then the ones so far (yes I am thinking about Thalions many misses so far)

Just dont tell me this is our last battle!? Thalion is so close to level 15. :cry_sad: Just a few.....more.....levels.....

All true, but don't forget that after each turn, a new enemy appears. I know Clerics are essential in every party (at least in all the RPGs I play), but this time we really NEED one... Come on good dice rolls! :excited:

I am assuming he isn't going to make them insanely powerful. Cpt John Paul doesn't seem like an evil QM to make us do the impossible. And don't ask for the dice to work differently, I got out of the last battle taking 0 damage. Those dice rolls, give me more.

I actually haven't hosted a Witch yet, so the effectiveness of Hex eludes me. It's supposed to make an "extra ally" for the party out of the targetted enemy for one round, as all DAMAGE, SPECIAL DAMAGE and Free Hits rolled for it will be redirected to the other enemies instead. I'll look into the effect to see what I can do about it...

Alright, what would CMP and the rest of you think about changing the Witch's Shield-skill "Hex" to "Mass Illusion", that would cause hexed-effect to all enemies as well as gain gold from each of them equal to their level? Would that be too powerful?

As awesome as that sounds....it kind of puts Magnetic Mojo to shame.

How about a 50/50 chance to Hex each opponent in addition to the gold thing?
