Professor Flitwick Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Visions of his old Circus master still haunt Thothwick to this day... Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 No, they're not. I've said this before, but you can see the base classes from the border colors of the images. Barbarian Cleric Knight Mage Ranger Rogue Too complicated I really like these pictures though. Quote
CMP Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 You can write an entire game system but you can't write your own Quests, Sandy? Quote
Sandy Posted November 2, 2011 Author Posted November 2, 2011 You can write an entire game system but you can't write your own Quests, Sandy? Was that supposed to be an insult? If my writing seems off in some way, remember that English is not my first language. That's the excuse I like to hide behind, at least. Sorry, see below. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I think he means that Quest 10 has more than a few similarities to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. (though I could be wrong, as the most I know on the subject is what's in the plot description on Wikipedia ) Quote

(though I could be wrong, as the most I know on the subject is what's in the plot description on Wikipedia ) Oh, sorry... It's meant to be more of a homage than direct rip-off, anyway. I'm aware that the school-setting, the "Myrtle"-like character and the basilisk are very HP-influenced, but it was deliberate, trust me. Quote

Can sorta see why, Chamber of Secrets probably had the best plot out of all of them. Lucky. You've got a Basalisk...everybody seems to be showing off their most rare, expensive parts in these. So, how to fit Jabba the Hutt into a Quest... Quote
Etzel Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I like it. You added your own twist. Yeah, I'm not sure if Harry, Ron and Hermione could handle this twist! That's some real hard hitting enemies there. Quote
The_Customizer Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Yeah, I'm not sure if Harry, Ron and Hermione could handle this twist! That's some real hard hitting enemies there. I know right? I mean, the total health we have to take is over 600! And our group together only has about 60 health total. They don't stand a chance! (Republic Commando line paraphrased) Quote

But still, good luck with those enemies! You'll need it. Edited November 2, 2011 by Peanuts Quote
K-Nut Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Im pretty sure the witch is a rogue/mage and the sorcerer is actually the mage/cleric. I MISSED THE MAGE/CLERIC HYBRID!!!!!?????? I must find it! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 My apologies to those in Quest 11, this week has been a killer with classes and all. The next shop should hopefully be up in about 8 hours. Quote
Sandy Posted November 2, 2011 Author Posted November 2, 2011 Lucky. You've got a Basalisk...everybody seems to be showing off their most rare, expensive parts in these. So, how to fit Jabba the Hutt into a Quest... Well, I actually got the Chamber of Secrets set pretty cheap off of Ebay some years ago when I first started collecting the Harry Potter -sets. It was a used set, anyway, but I'm glad I got it then. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Cleric/Barbarian > Shaman Rogue/Ranger > Assassin Knight/Mage > Mystic Knight Knight/Barbarian > Berserker Ranger/Cleric > Druid Rogue/Mage > Sorcerer Mage/Barbarian > Battlemage Knight/Ranger > Warden Rogue/Cleric > Witch Simply put. So I stop confusing myself Quote

So I stop confusing myself still waiting to see Barbarian/Rogue > (power-mugger) Knight/Cleric > (knight templar) Mage/Ranger > (magic arrows) Rogue/Knight > (masterless ronin) Cleric/Mage > (extra ether!) Chromeknight Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 (edited) The description of the deity Ennoc in the Library has a good clue for one of them. Possibly. Or it could be a reference to another group that might be met in quests, like Zoot's cultists or Neron's Merfolk or Sylvana's fairies... Edited November 2, 2011 by Chromeknight Quote

Sorry to those wanting to see/get their hands on those pretty weapons. Those weapons were indeed pretty. But I'll rather live to see another quest then die clutching the WP:10-Pulsar Sceptre to my chest. oh and Jebediahs, why earth spell? Quote
Sandy Posted November 2, 2011 Author Posted November 2, 2011 Yes, I think we've stretched our luck during this quest as far as possible. Sorry to those wanting to see/get their hands on those pretty weapons. Well, since I apparently won't be able to post their pics to the quest topic, I'll post them here: They match with the Meteor Blade quite nicely, don't they? Quote
Jebediahs Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 oh and Jebediahs, why earth spell? /shrug. Ennoc abandoned him last round! Alf's going to finish it anyway. None of my spells have bonus vs vermin. Quote
Etzel Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 /shrug. Ennoc abandoned him last round! Alf's going to finish it anyway. None of my spells have bonus vs vermin. But if you get a magic burst it won't do damage to the statues Maybe the Aquamarine would be a better choice. But if you want to focus on the roleplaying for your character I'm fine with that too Quote
