Flipz Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Hello all! I've got a question. There was, at some point, a mention of tickets to a play in Bric'lin, right? Well, does anyone remember what those were, and how they came up, and any more information about them? I feel like Sandy wrote them, and they were a gift to one of the PCs. And yes, one of my future quests is likely to contain a play! What, Bilbert Wigglepike not good enough for you? Quote
Zepher Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 I don't like setting things in Eubric. The city is beautiful, but I'm afraid of messing things up with the bigger story. And I thought it was in Grogmas Gifts, and I KNEW it was in relation to something that we hadn't seen but had occurred in a quest. When will that side quest ever be published? I want to see it! I'm starting to very seriously start scripting my next few quests, which will both premiere in early June! Small parties (3 and 4 respectively, I think), but I think they'll be fun! Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 My search came up with a comment from Etzel in the Grogmas Thread: Wow, I'd forgotten all about that. Etzel, I'd be honoured to run this in a little PM out-of-quest side-quest once Haldor is finished saving the world. Since Jess hasn't appeared for months now... Quote
Zepher Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Pseudos is the God of Protection, the herald of justice, the shepherd of all races, and the protector of the innocent. He works both in shadows, and in the light, He is the one that heralds the passing between day and night, and in all his works he protects the balance of the Just. Wherever you go, you will free innocents from cruelty, you will oppose the chains of oppresion, and you will guard from evil. "I disagree, demonspawn. I'm not worried about keeping the coin, but giving coin to people like this breeds weakness and laziness." So... Guts worships Pseudo, or no? I think Guts and Boomingham have a very similar philosophy on life. The phrasing of some of the things they say is almost exactly the same. Quote
joeshmoe554 Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Endgame, it seems there may have been some confusion in the loot distribution Sir Brickington should have a grand potion instead of a potion (he traded me a potion for the grand potion) Em should not have a grand potion, and he should have 45 gold, not 55 (25 + 20) Arnulf should also have 45 gold not 35(25 + 20) Everything else looks good though. Quote
Endgame Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 There was a 10 gold gratitude offer, thus the 10 gold discrepancies on two people. I'll fix up that Grand Potion, though. Quote
joeshmoe554 Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Ahh, I missed that. Carry on then! Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 If I have Good Reputation with one faction and gain reputation with it's rival, Will my reputation be neutral? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 If I have Good Reputation with one faction and gain reputation with it's rival, Will my reputation be neutral? I'm fairly sure that it switches to Good with the rival and None with the original. (It's not exactly Neutral, since the original faction might then not accept you into its quests because of your Good reputation with its rival.) Quote
Flare Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 (edited) If I have Good Reputation with one faction and gain reputation with it's rival, Will my reputation be neutral? I believe that what Doc said is correct. Edited February 18, 2013 by Flare Quote
Sandy Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 There's plenty of idle players around, so if anyone has a good idea for a quest and a willingness to host one, now would be a perfect time to contact me. If I have Good Reputation with one faction and gain reputation with it's rival, Will my reputation be neutral? As Brickdoctor said, you will gain a Good reputation with the new faction, but lose your old reputation. If you had a Great reputation with the old faction, it would drop down to Good. Quote

I have the pitch and everything and the time and skill to make the scenes the time or parts to make them with other Lego projects going on. Edited February 18, 2013 by Skyrimguy Quote

swils Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 School be damned, I'm finding much less time than expected to sit and build the scenes I'd like. Quote
Flipz Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 School be damned, I'm finding much less time than expected to sit and build the scenes I'd like. Same here. I really, REALLY want to share this Quest with you guys, I think it'll be a lot of fun for everyone, but the preparation is absolutely torturous. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 (edited) It does take a lot of preparation to have the sets ready for Quests. My hat is off to Sandy and the other QMs who do this on a far more regular basis than I do. Also love Crocodile "Dundee" Sandy! Edited February 18, 2013 by Rumble Strike Quote
Chromeknight Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 (edited) I miss out on seeing Denarii again! I am loving the quest I'm on though. Weregators! Wonder what they'd make of Steve Irwin Edited February 18, 2013 by Chromeknight Quote
JimBee Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I miss out on seeing Denarii again! Denerii* But yes, sorry that you can't make it for this one, Chromeknight! But don't be too disappointed, for reasons. As an FYI for anyone considering signing up for Quest 59, I expect it to last no longer than 1.5 months. Quote

Nooo, I could have sworn you weren't actually planning on getting the Rito quest out there until months from now Jim. Any future chances we'll be able to get Winged Warrior? Quote
Flipz Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I must admit, I'm a bit disappointed to miss another trip out to Dastan as well, even if the Rito aren't exactly the most familiar characters to Arthur. Hopefully there'll be another chance to wander out that direction for new adventures. Quote

I'm not sure if I should ask Flare how long he is planning on his quest being. "You. Shall. Not. PASS!!!" In that instant, the floor split open below their feet, sending the whole party swirling into a dark hole. -pic- I wonder why Christopher is grinning like an idiot as they plunge downwards? Maybe he's enjoying the ride? Edited February 19, 2013 by Palathadric Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I wonder why Christopher is grinning like an idiot as they plunge downwards? Maybe he's enjoying the ride? It's a common problem. Quote
Flare Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I'm not sure if I should ask Flare how long he is planning on his quest being. Well it's going to be a short quest... So 3 months maybe Seriously though, I'm thinking maybe 1-1.5 months. Seriously! Quote
Rumble Strike Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 (edited) Yes, for roleplay reasons I would have loved to have had the chance for Tarn to return to Dastan. Good luck with your quest though JimB! Hopefully we will see more Dastan quests in future. Edited February 19, 2013 by Rumble Strike Quote
