Is there anyone in the hall besides Dekra and Harkenshire who have been to Dastan? Need to refresh myself on who is all in the hall. :wacko:

Not planned, sorry. Sign ups will be open for a while, though, so you can finish up in the fields and then come back to the hall? I know you wanted to be a WW, so I would love to have you.

Yes, for roleplay reasons I would have loved to have had the chance for Tarn to return to Dastan. Good luck with your quest though JimB! Hopefully we will see more Dastan quests in future.

Actually I'd also love to join in on your quest, but the unlimited quest has first priority. We just have a few battles left planned, so if the QM could get us rolling faster it's possible that we could get out soon... Unfortunately I don't think we'll get back in 10 days... :sad:

Yes, for roleplay reasons I would have loved to have had the chance for Tarn to return to Dastan. Good luck with your quest though JimB! Hopefully we will see more Dastan quests in future.

The third Guffington Quest will be stopping in Dastan, as of right now, though of course nothing in set in stone.

For those curious, I'm trying to have the second Russel/Guffington Quests have no references to the Wren Saga, though right now my intentions are to have the third and final quests of both of those trilogies incorporate characters from the Wren Saga who survive. Then we'll move on to my final Quest of all three of those stories- which will be another monster, but is still at LEAST a year away.

Atramor does have a note for Tarn from her! And like I said, Guffington should be stopping by Dastan, maybe next Winterish?

Yeah, actually, Triad and one other NPC were both possible to make an appearance in the third Russel Quest (again, as my plan goes right now), but she died, so the other one gets to appear now! :laugh:

I also like how everyone deals with Phil. Keeping him in the back row. You've figured out how to do it- someone with diplomacy needed to talk to him about it, and THEN you have to ask him every time you want it to happen, specifically. But of course now he has to attack from the front. :laugh:

I think a fair number of NPCs are going to live. What's the count of important dead NPCs so far? Zander, Mephisto, Triad, Bal, Bennetton... we're verging on half at this point. :grin: You can still save some at least!!

Zeph, this is a great quest, and I really would not want to have the ending feel rushed, especially as I'm expecting it to be epic! :tongue: I'm sure JimB's quest will be fantastic too, I remember his hosting from Dastan last time and it was top-notch, but I wouldn't want to rush this great quest just for the chance at another one. There are loads of seasoned QMs out there now, producing great quests, so I don't doubt that there'll always be something exciting just around the corner. :thumbup:

Oh, I know you guys aren't saying it in a rushing way! I just genuinely wish I could get you out in time for his Quest, because I also have high expectations for it, and want to see your characters go to cool places as badly as you guys do! :sweet:

I hope my Dastan NPCs get back to Dastan in time to make cameos if JimBee wants them. :grin:

As far as influencing QMs decisions, I don't see a problem with expressing a strong desire to go on a certain quest (and that's how I read "I have to go on... ", as an exp<b></b>ression of strong desire, not as a demand). I'd think that a QM would want to take someone who passionately wants to go on their quest over someone who just signed up for everything and is only looking to go on -a- quest, even if it's just because of the expectation of loot/rewards (though if it came down to a handful of people expressing a strong desire, I'd give the desire for loot/rewards the least weight)

Of course it's not a problem - unless that person is already on a quest. Which is something I've seen happen a few times in the past already. It's as if the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. :laugh:
