Zepher Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Well, maybe if you all pinky promise to not use them I'll still consider taking you guys. Quote
Flipz Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Well, maybe if you all pinky promise to not use them I'll still consider taking you guys. I still don't get why they're such a problem, you've had more issues this Quest with elements and gold gains than you seem to have had from all Healing Staff uses in all your Quests combined. But sure, pinky promise for later Quests...just don't tempt us to use them with batticular insanity. Quote
Flare Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 My eyes! Seriously... But I think I'm going to use it in my quest Oops, did I say that out loud? Quote
joeshmoe554 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Can a knight use sentinel if he/she is blinded? Quote
Zepher Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) Sentinel and Guardian Angel are unique in that they aren't really an effect, and take place no matter what. It's one of the actually huge bonuses of being one of those classes. And that's a wrap on another two NPCs. The numbers, they are a-dwindling. Edited February 22, 2013 by Zepher Quote
Palathadric Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Eric, don't do it! Its a trap.... A trap? If that's what you want to call it. By all means, walk into it. Quote
Flare Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Sorry to keep posting, but Sandy, would you say that causing 1632 damage in one hit might be a new record? Quote
Palathadric Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Well, technically you didn't actually cause 1632 damage, just 35. Quote
Flare Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Well, technically you didn't actually cause 1632 damage, just 35. I think that I should get gold for all the hit that got wasted Quote
PsyKater Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) I am too lazy to look it up, but for what is the x32? edit: trying to figure it out myself: x2 double damage against Vermin x2 because of Wind against Vermin x2 because of Ice against Vermin x2 because of Ice against Plant x2 because of Fire against Plant = x32 correct? Did not consider that they stack up Edited February 22, 2013 by PsyKater Quote

PsyKater Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 I was surprised that Ice deals x4 damage to that enemy, but it makes sense. It's up to the QM to create an enemy of two types. Quote
Zepher Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Sandy, the Flying General has too much health in comparison with the rolls. 53, update later! Weekends are a busy time for me. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 It's still Friday, Zeph. No excuses. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 I was just thinking about advanced classes, after seeing Johon/Benji's smashes of enemies and gold earnings. Then I realized, Assassin is good, but most enemies now are immune to instakill. So, Raider is the best class for rogues. Quote
Endgame Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Not neccasarily. We've seen some great Assassin buffing items that make them infinitely more useful. Item idea: Ashes of Demise: Can be used on an insta-kill immune enemy to disable their immunity. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 It's still Friday, Zeph. No excuses. Concur. No excuses. Plus I only need 27 more successful battles to be at lvl 30! Quote

When film shoots start, so do my weekend. We had equipment check out at 11 am today, and we're shooting at 5. Beyond the personal look into the life of Zepher, this is shared to explain why on the weekends, we'll be moving slow! But, I only predict a week or two left. Update is coming your way, along with our second to last interlude. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Sounds like a work day to me. At least you're learning stuff, right? Quote
Flare Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Is it just me or is Sir Brickington's level quite off?? (Quest 56) Quote
Zepher Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) I absolutely love the film shoots, and they (well, script writing, but film in general) are what I want to go into, so, you know, I should be doing what I want to do in the future. They just sometimes takes away from Heroica, which is silly of them! Unlike classes, which are a breeze, film shoots are hard work and take forever. Just an explanation of why weekends are busy for me, but weekdays are not. Edited February 22, 2013 by Zepher Quote
Rumble Strike Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 I wouldn't say most enemies are immune to insta-kills, it tends to be the important ones. Sorrow was very effective in Quest#52 in thinning the herd. Likewise Hybros has been superb in Quest#50. Quote
Zepher Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Yeah, I think that both Alexis and Dyric have turned the tide of more than one battle in Quest 53. Quote
