Endgame Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Guybrush Threepwood - Monkey Island, anyone? Love the reference, Sandy. Quote
Palathadric Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 (edited) I've said before that Dyric has to be the unluckiest lucky hero ever, but with his present run of form, I am suspecting that Thormanil will turn out to be the luckiest unlucky hero ever. EDIT: Hmmm, perhaps one should exchange "Hero" for "Rogue." Edited February 25, 2013 by Palathadric Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Regarding questions to sets. I posted a small thing in the QM Lounge, but it was awhile back. Here is some from Princess Panic. All that random junk on top was to prevent a glare from being on the woman's head. Quote

swils Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Another good example, thanks. I guess my biggest problem is that I'm just trying to think too big. Scaling down and zooming in should help a lot. Thormy's definitely had a lucky streak so far. Very few damaging rolls, *plenty* of Ravages... Let's just hope that the pattern continues moving into the harder battles! Quote
JimBee Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 I'm looking forward to what the second half of the Pagoda in Quest 50 has to bring. And I thought the enemies before were tough... It's times like these when a Druid would be really nice. Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Skrall mixes a remedy with the Pogcanis Brew and Nostrum before downing the lot. Jamming the tricorne back on his head, he shouts to Scheherazade for a length of rope to lower people into the hole with. Come on Skrall, be a man, jump! Quote
Palathadric Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 I guess the problem with using LDraw and POV-Ray is that the minifigs look pretty terrible from close up. Quote
swils Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 I guess the problem with using LDraw and POV-Ray is that the minifigs look pretty terrible from close up. Eh, I'd just super impose a quality picture of a real minifig into the picture, then Quote
Flipz Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Come on Skrall, be a man, jump! (Ignore the commentary, it's the visuals I'm looking at. ) Quote

Zepher Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 And thus, they are changed back, Hoke! Now, enough OoC from the both of us and let's kill us some Beasties! Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Cronk is not sure but Cronk will try anyway. Maybe friends should hold bedrolls as cushions in front of friends? And thus, the heroes proved their masculinity by jumping whilst holding cushions. Excellent plan there. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 And thus, they are changed back, Hoke! Now, enough OoC from the both of us and let's kill us some Beasties! Sorry about that! Just trying to straighten stuff out. Quote
Flipz Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Wow, this is pretty sweet. Wonder what the Grand Cookies do? Also, are there supposed to be two Master Chaos Beast A's, or is there only supposed to be one? I have to say, I'm surprised that the Zoot's Plaything isn't dropping this battle. The resulting fighting over who gets it would fit perfectly with the theme of party members who all hate each other. Quote
JimBee Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 @Quest 53: "The abyss stares back"... has the whole Wren saga been a metaphor for Frederick Nietzche's philosophy? Very cool Chaos Beasts of Life and Death, Zepher, probably my favorite enemies from you (so far). Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Suffering sucutash, that's allot of HP! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Flipz Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 (edited) Suffering sucutash, that's allot of HP! ~Insectoid Aristocrat 6200 HP, to be exact, though keep in mind that our party deals on average 456 damage per Round (that is, if we all get normal Hits), and Alexis has two chances of Assassinating almost everything (and Dyric has a 1/6 chance for a group Assassination shot as well). Assuming we end up at about half that damage potential (to account for Damage rolls and time taken off for healing), it'll take 27 Rounds to kill everything, if Alexis' and Dyric's Assassinations are all unsuccessful. Since they CAN be Assassinated, however, we only HAVE to whittle through 3200 HP the ordinary way--still a VERY formidible amount, but not quite as bad as 6200. Flipz Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Skrall can favor Ancient if he chooses, correct? That would be beyond awesome. He'd be an automatic boss-killer! (I jest, of course, but still, that'd be a pretty cool thing; Hunters, after all, are the only characters who can get a damage multiplier on Ancient and Etherial enemies.) Quote
