Dannylonglegs Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 (edited) One last little conversation before 56 is over - it'll probably be done by tonight! No, but seriously Danny... Eidolon is going to be the toughest battle I'll have made yet. Tremble! I'm so scared, I'm trembling in my custom made baby-sealskin boots. Fugazi Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 No, but seriously Danny... Eidolon is going to be the toughest battle I'll have made yet. Tremble! Oh, you're just trying to dissuade us from taking a Trial Brew right before your boss battle! Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Oh, you're just trying to dissuade us from taking a Trial Brew right before your boss battle! Exactly! (also, Question: can one feed enemies a Trial Brew? ) ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Endgame Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 No, DLL. No you cannot. Also SPOILER ALERT, preview for the Eidolon boss battle! *insert snarky comment here* Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 No, DLL. No you cannot. Damn! Back to the planning room. Also SPOILER ALERT, preview for the Eidolon boss battle! Funny, I've got one too! "*insert deadpan comment here*" ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Wait, WHY were the orders color coded anyways? What do they mean? Wait, WHY were the orders color coded anyways? What do they mean? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Wait, WHY were the orders color coded anyways? What do they mean? I think it was to organize all the conditional actions. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Wait, WHY were the orders color coded anyways? What do they mean? Wait, WHY were the orders color coded anyways? What do they mean? It was a system by which I organized complex battle Orders that depended on certain events occurring or not occurring. I haven't used any recently since the battles haven't been hard enough to warrant it since Endgame doesn't like them and Using Parenthesis usually works just as well. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Kintobor Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 CURSE YOU ENDGAME! CURSE YOU!! YOU STOLE MY KILL!!! Can't say I totally saw it coming, but I had a feeling we weren't done yet. And now to make sure Karie doesn't become "Karie Quinn" again. Quote
Endgame Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Have you been on a Zepher quest yet, perchance? To be honest, I would be absolutely shocked if the Stealer of Senses was to lose here, if you engage him in battle. Quote
Brickington Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 To be honest, I would be absolutely shocked if the Stealer of Senses was to lose here, if you engage him in battle. Then are we going to battle him or not? Honestly, I would like to do that in another quest. Quote
Kintobor Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Yeah, don't fight this guy, we're going to get steamrolled. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Heckz Brutenhal enters the Heroica Hall in hopes that he will get around well there. Before he could make it to the quest board a large figure steped in his way "Hey, you, tiny man, I've never seen you around here before. Who are you?" "I'm Hecks Brutenhal. I'm new to Heroica. Now, if you could please step out of the wa--" "I DON'T LIKE NEW PEOPLE" the large figure tried to make a punch but before he could land it, Heckz put his hand on an Opal he had and a large icicle fell on the figure's head, rendering him unconscious. Since that didn't attract much attention, he went to the questboard and thought <Hmm what quest are open...almost all for expirienced heroes. I'll just sit on the bar and get me a few bottles of mead then>.... OOC: Am I doing this right?. Welcome Eric Su! Indeed you are doing this right, though Heroica Hall is pretty friendly so I'm not sure whose head you dropped an icicle on. All of the current quests sign-ups have closed, but I believe Capt.JohnPaul is possibly cooking up a new one and I am just about finished with the 1st part of a trilogy quest that should have sign-ups open soon as well. So sit tight, interact with the people in the hall, visit the marketplace, or the library, or the embassy, or if you want to try your luck in the arena, and eventually a new quest will show up on the 1st page of the hall topic requesting sign-ups. joeshmoe554 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 If I've interpreted the rules correctly. Then in the event that we fight him and die, we will all be returned to the hall, and will have failed the quest. Since we already received the quest reward, there may be absolutely 0 negative consequences to fighting him, other than the humiliation of being KO'ed of course. Quote
Kintobor Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Hey hey, a new guy! Welcome, welcome, make yourself comfortable, rest your feet, and look out for the pickpocket behind you who is currently stealing every last gold piece in your wallet. Quote
Brickington Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 (Admiring myself) I remember when I was a newbie. One thing you newbies need to learn is to respect veterans like myself. Welcome to Heroica. Quote

Welcome to Heroica. Left quest thinking it was over and returned to Heroica Hall Convinced he's a veteran. Trust me, the welcome wagon of freshly baked Heroes is coming in soon, so you'll have someone to talk to, and after listening to the gory details involved in our escapade possibly decide that adventuring just isn't right for you.
