Kintobor Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Fixed. Somehow, I knew someone was going to do that... Quote
Zepher Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 The QM would have lied to us, and what kind of QM would lie to his players. Have you been on a Zepher quest yet, perchance? No, I haven't. Quote
Endgame Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Joeshmoe is correct, if you challenge the Stealer of Senses and lose, the only thing you lose is your pride. And, shoker, you already found the Apprentice's master. He is right in front of you, the guy in purple. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I know I sometimes think of Tarn as being a little slow on the uptake sometimes but I really must start using conditional actions like "If the more powerful members of the party have disposed of the enemy I have targeted, do nothing, and definitely do not attack the enemy that can one shot kill me!" Quote
Kintobor Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 If I've interpreted the rules correctly. Then in the event that we fight him and die, we will all be returned to the hall, and will have failed the quest. Since we already received the quest reward, there may be absolutely 0 negative consequences to fighting him, other than the humiliation of being KO'ed of course. Yes, that is true, but do you want to go down as "that party that failed their first quest"? And who knows, the QM might just pluck the reward right from under our unconscious bodies. Quote

joeshmoe554 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I still see it as nothing to lose, and I'm a bit curious what his stats are. I'm good with whatever the rest of the party decides, a hopeless battle with almost certain death isn't very practical, but it can be fun in its own twisted way. Quote
Chromeknight Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Yes, that is true, but do you want to go down as "that party that failed their first quest"? Quest#13 new heroes, failed quest. Quote

I don't want to lose all of my health personally. If you want to see his stats, I am and suggest you sign up for the prelude quest of 56. Quote
Endgame Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I don't want to lose all of my health personally. If you want to see his stats, I am and suggest you sign up for the prelude quest of 56. You go back to the hall with full health, no matter what. The only consequence for fighting the Stealer, if you lose, is wounded pride. Just saying that right now. Quote
Brickington Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Damn Bricky i followed your example and went to hall And i want to continue quest, to find Apprentice's master Bricky? That's a new nickname. I thought Karie left, so I followed her. You go back to the hall with full health, no matter what. The only consequence for fighting the Stealer, if you lose, is wounded pride. Just saying that right now. Do I want wounded pride? I kinda wanted to try to go for a never lost record. Quote
Cutcobra Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I have a question about Fabian's store in Te Marketplace, can I buy all of the items listed there or can I only buy the ones that are in stock? Quote
Brickington Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I have a question about Fabian's store in Te Marketplace, can I buy all of the items listed there or can I only buy the ones that are in stock? I believe only ones in stock. Quote

And who knows, the QM might just pluck the reward right from under our unconscious bodies. Quest#13 new heroes, failed quest. If anyone's going to grab that title, it's the participants of Quest 6. I have a question about Fabian's store in Te Marketplace, can I buy all of the items listed there or can I only buy the ones that are in stock? You can buy all the items there. Some items are from specific quests that heroes sold back to the shop, thus there is a limited number of those items, which is why they have the ~1 in stock~ next to them. There's an infinite number of the rest of the items that don't have that designation. Edited March 2, 2013 by Waterbrick Down Quote
Chromeknight Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 If anyone's going to grab that title, it's the participants of Quest 6. I had remembered that quest, but was not thinking it was your first quest. Quote
Kintobor Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Welcome Eric Su! Indeed you are doing this right, though Heroica Hall is pretty friendly so I'm not sure whose head you dropped an icicle on. That blasted ninja-star throwing Crusader's back! Quote

joeshmoe554 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 "Indeed there are frog tracks, my friends!! What a stroke of luck, I must say. What do you think, Yeti, should we follow the center road?" For some reason the following popped into my head when I read that last line. Follow the center road Follow the center road Follow follow follow follow, follow the center road We're off to find the dumb kid, the dumb kid who is now a frog He's probably quite green and smelly, smelly like a bog. I wouldn't be very surprised to see him sitting upon a log. a log, a log, a log, a log, a log, a log that's sitting in a bog. We're off to find the dumb kid, the dumb kid who is now a frog Quote
Kintobor Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I just sang that to myself. I am not ashamed. Quote
Flipz Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 No! Don't take the center road! If that's the correct road, then your Quest will end when you get to the end of it! Take the left road for moar loot and experience ! Quote
PsyKater Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Do I want wounded pride? I kinda wanted to try to go for a never lost record. What pride? You are already the first party that went back to the Hall early. *scnr* I just sang that to myself. I am not ashamed. Quote
