Sandy Posted November 3, 2011 Author Posted November 3, 2011 Just to make sure, even if we just finished a quest, are we allowed to go on another one? Of course, why wouldn't you be? There's not much to do in this game besides questing, anyway. Quote
Etzel Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Thanks for the players in my quest! I hope you enjoyed the varied battles the quest offered. I've now posted two new quests hosted by me to the Quest Board at Heroica Hall. They'll be open until the 20th of November, though, so there's plenty of time to sign up into them. Thank you Sandy for an excellent quest! I enjoyed playing it very much. Oh yeah, we were sure close on failing though. That mirror battle will go to the history! I'm so happy we got Jebediahs and that he got his loaded die. After that every battle seemed much easier, and I think we did the right choice when killing of the Wight before the Colossi. One near death experience per quest is enough, I think. Quote
Jebediahs Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Well, we made that mirror fight ridiculous by not taking advantage of the bombs from the beginning. I honestly forgot we had them hahah. But thanks to that fight I did learn you don't target a specific enemy when using bombs opening yourself up for a free hit. I wanted to fight the statues but didn't want to fail so close to the end. The_Customizer Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Of course, why wouldn't you be? There's not much to do in this game besides questing, anyway. And buying stuff. And don't forget the time me and Trotter made your job really hard, by making up a army of Trolls.... Quote
legobodgers Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 I want Boomingham to go hunting pirates! Here's hoping I get back in time! And I could possibly end up questing with some of the people currently in my quest, which would be fun, assuming they don't bear grudges . Why would we hold a grudge? Quote
CMP Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Having Atramor hunt down people of his former lifestyle would do for some interesting character development. And come on, why have/are there going to be 4 Ziegfried quests and only 1 Guild of Invision? First Quest I write, Ji Pei all the way... Quote
Bricksandparts Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Sandy, So can you post an overview of the Lvl. 15 different classes? I just want to know if I should buy these scrolls for when I become Lvl. 15. I plan on being a Barbarian/Mage Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Why do people confuse my character with soccerkid6's?! I'm a Ranger, He's a Knight?!!!! Quote
Zepher Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Why would we hold a grudge? Not you folk! The people currently in the quest I'm hosting. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Not you folk! The people currently in the quest I'm hosting. That depends entirely on how much Gold we get. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Why do people confuse my character with soccerkid6's?! I'm a Ranger, He's a Knight?!!!! And our names look nothing alike, neither do our characters. I mean your guy is obviously a ranger. Quote
K-Nut Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Dang it! I was planning on doing a Jolly Roger quest, but hopefully I might be able to be in it! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 (edited) Sarick hurridly weaves his way through the crowd. He spotted the magic cart and headed straight for it. There were many patrons purchasing goods so he patiently waited his turn. While Sarick waited he weighed his options. The weapon he already knew he wanted, but the scrolls, this was a tough decision. Which one he chose could cause great success or failure in his first quest. It was finally his turn in line. "Hello again Elphaba. I have made my decision. I would like one Healing Staff and one Scroll of Confision. Each item is lisssted at a cossst of 50gold." Sarick hands over a pouch containing 100 gold and retrieves his items. "Thank you" Wait, a level one has 110 gold? he bought items for 100 then still has 10 left. Edited November 4, 2011 by soccerkid6 Quote
Khorne Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Wait, a level one has 110 gold? he bought items for 100 then still has 10 left. Xarrzan's Sarrick had been handed 100 gold by En Sabah Nur, Jebediah's character, you can read it here. But you're correct, normally a level one character only has 10 gold . Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Oh ok, I didn't see that. I just wanted to make sure. Thanks very much. Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Sorry guys one my quest. But my main computer has just crashed so it might be a few days till I can get the battle up, because I lost all of the battle files. I'll still be on though. Quote

Peanuts Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Look at the posts just above yours. Didn't see that, I'm sorry, Xarrzan. Quote
Xarrzan Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Didn't see that, I'm sorry, Xarrzan. No worries at all. If I make a mistake on my stats let me know. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 The first (I think) unfair disidvantage: Level: 5 (10 vs. Elves) Quote
Scorpiox Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 I suppose it is unfair, doing more damage against a certain class is alright, but race shouldn't affect stats. Just my opinion, no offence Jeb. Quote
Sandy Posted November 4, 2011 Author Posted November 4, 2011 I suppose it is unfair, doing more damage against a certain class is alright, but race shouldn't affect stats. Why not? After all, the players chose their characters' race just like they chose their class, without knowing what benefits or disadvantages it might bring them. I think it added a clever twist to the battle, although I do wish race-specific stats won't be used too much, or it will indeed become unfair. Taking Jebediahs's idea a step further, I can see for example a quest aimed towards (or denied from) heroes of a specific race. But please, let's discuss the possibilities of actually making the chosen race matter in this game! Quote
