JimBee Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Pretty cool, Legonater. I decided to give it a try for Hybros (which was challenging considering he is non-human). Quote

Waterbrick Down Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Just in case you were wondering: So is anyone planning on hosting besides myself for when the Wren questers return? Quote
Zepher Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I actually imagine Boomers with hair, but couldn't find any that I liked, so here he is for now. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 It looks like a hybrid of a pig and a Wookiee. Hey, you work with what you've got. Quote
Flipz Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I so want Atramor to roll Special Mirror against Wren now, just so Atramor can crack a remark about Wren's latest comment. Incidentally, Zeph, thanks for being willing to roleplay even during battle. You're one of the QMs who's most dedicated to roleplaying their NPCs, and I really appreciate that. It makes it all the more difficult when we lose them. Quote

I'm glad Wren's still in a state fit enough for mid-battle banter, even if it's not all as snarky as in Quest 48. Quote
Flipz Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Sorry, Pie, I know that was a cheap shot, but...in-character, in-character. (I know you know the distinction, but that was mean enough I feel I should make note of it for all the new players and outside observers. ) At least now you know what playing with Atramor was like for everyone else. CMP Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Hey, he's not totally unlikeable. Not unless he's trying. Or blowing you up with a Bomb XX, but I doubt NPCs take kindly to that either... Quote
Fugazi Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Endgame, I quite like your Crumbling Venom and I'm weighing the cost vs usefulness of imbuing a weapon with it, but would you consider nerfing it a bit? I'm thinking that making the venom slightly cheaper but removing the -3 HP/round would be beneficial for players and QMs alike. Losing 3 HP per round doesn't make much of a difference on most enemies even in the long run, but it does make QM's job a bit more annoying more difficult as they have to keep track of both declining SP and HP, likely on multiple enemies. Does this make any sense, or am I just trying to drive down the price of imbuing a weapon? Quote
Peppermint_M Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I had a play about too, pretty fun. I will certainly be spending some time on making the Dragon Bone armour absolutely perfect and one for Tesni with each of her weapons. Quote
Endgame Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 or am I just trying to drive down the price of imbuing a weapon? Sorry, I'm not a mind-reader. I don't find the -3 damage hard at all - after all, the most annoying part for me is scrolling up and down, and I only have to take one look at the "Crumbling" tag to know that they should lose 3 HP and 1 SP. If other QMs want the item changed as you suggested though, I'll be happy to do so. Hey, you're swimming in the gold, man. Gotta make you spend it on something. At least take Beatrice out to dinner somewhere nice with it! Quote

Flare Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Endgame, I quite like your Crumbling Venom and I'm weighing the cost vs usefulness of imbuing a weapon with it... Not fair, I would do a lot to embue a weapon with the crumbling venom, but I have no chance to, and you're weighing the cost... Sheesh... Is it possible to send weapons via z-mail? Also, Drake as party leader? Oy va voy Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) Not fair, I would do a lot to embue a weapon with the crumbling venom, but I have no chance to, and you're weighing the cost... Sheesh... Is it possible to send weapons via z-mail? Also, Drake as party leader? Oy va voy He asked for Glory. Also, he seemed one of the more enthusiastic of the party. Also, I can see a knight being a party leader quite easily. I was going to have Karie the party leader, but then I thought that being a Party Leader and a first-time QM would have been a little hard. I thought about the others as well, but I chose Drake because of the glory comment mostly, considering that glory wasn't the first thing on my mind when I designed the quest. Have I made my first mistake as a QM? Oh gods! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited March 11, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I'll be honest, at this point I don't care who's who and what happens to who or whatever, I just want this ship. Quote

Scubacarrot Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Fighting someone that thinks it's a god or perceiving something as a god is not the same as actually fighting a god. Quote
