Flipz Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Once this loot distribution is done, we've got about a day to go. Just some good byes to say. Sweet. Speaking of loot and loot division, I've adjusted the summarized stats; peoples' Defense and immunities should be back to normal. I'm a little unsure on some peoples' Power and max Health and Ether, so again, check me. If I find I have extra time on my hands, I may go back through and add color back in to everyone's stat blocks (you can see I fixed mine both in the summary and, finally, in the Hero Stats topic), unless some people don't want that. Flare Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 (edited) Reading the last few days of 53, there is just one word that comes to mind... Crybabies I've never seen such crybaby heroes in the history of heroica, sheeeeesh! Edited March 26, 2013 by Flare Quote
Zepher Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I was personally sad to see some of my NPCs die. I doubt that too many of the players are genuinely upset, but I highly appreciate that they are roleplaying it. Reading the last few days of 57, I wonder why there haven't been any updates. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Quest 60- Good job everyone! Too bad my mercenary crossbowman was defeated. He was doing so well in the beginning. Quote

PsyKater Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I don't want to bother Sandy with every trifle, that's why I ask here in public. Could you help me to determine the value of this loot? Handy Suitcase (SP:-2, usable by anyone. Allows the user to use two items in combat instead of one, as if they were Hastened. See! I told you the suitcase was handy!) Gentleman's Hat (SP: 1, suitable for men, headgear. The wearer has a 1/2 chance to not be affected by Asleep, because a true gentleman never falls asleep during the heat of battle.) Ball and Chain (WP: 3, suitable for knights and barbarians. Has a 1/2 chance to stun the targeted opponent. And yes, it's REEAALLY heavy.) WPx10 and SPx10 as far as I know, but how are the effects handled? If only Sandy can answer this, than leave it to him. Quote
Tachyon Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Handy Suitcase and Gentleman's Hat should be artefacts with price decided by Sandy but I hink that the ball and chain is the same worth as a WP3 weapon Quote
Sandy Posted March 26, 2013 Author Posted March 26, 2013 I've changed the stats of my party in Quest #59 from Power to Power Bonus. Although Sandy never approved such a change, I think it's small enough that it can be allowed, and changed back if not. I personally find it much more intuitive this way. Whatever rocks your QM'ing boat. It's a stylistic change, so if it makes your hosting job easier, go with it! I myself am accustomed to calculating results from the current statistics, so I won't be changing anything. I don't want to bother Sandy with every trifle, that's why I ask here in public. Could you help me to determine the value of this loot? This is exactly why selling artefacts to Fabian is subjective. There's just no way to put a price tag on items with such varying levels of usefulness (that are often depending on the situation or the party that the wearer is on). So if you want to sell these items, you have to name your price yourself, and Fabian will either accept it or not. Quote
PsyKater Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Okay, now I realize why Loot Distribution is so difficult Quote

Scorpiox Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Okay, here it is, the PERFECT song for the finale of Quest #53. Not one that you young 'uns will know, but a truly excellent piece nontheless. Sums up the mood so well. Quote
Zepher Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Corny, post this distribution!!! I want to get this thing wrapped up. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Corny, post this distribution!!! I want to get this thing wrapped up. All right, I just wanted to give everyone the chance to ask for what they want. Quote
Flipz Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Corny, post this distribution!!! I want to get this thing wrapped up. Yeah! Just give everything to Arthur! If it's really being a pain, I guess I'd be OK taking some gems, but if that's the case I really would prefer gemS plural. Priority to the Aquamarine and Topaz, and Arthur won't want the Emerald (he won't complain, especially now, but he won't like it). Like I said before, though, I'd prefer a healthy dose of Gold. I have purchases to make soon. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I think you should not give Arthur a share for being a dirty traitor. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I think you should not give Arthur a share for being a dirty traitor. I had thought about that. Cronk is just too nice sometimes. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I would've given Arthur a share, just not that large of a share. It's not as if he's lacking Gold right now. Quote
Flipz Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I would've given Arthur a share, just not that large of a share. It's not as if he's lacking Gold right now. You don't know my back-room deals... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 You don't know my back-room deals... I do know that you've mentioned having made deals and wanting Gold; I didn't say you didn't need Gold, just that you already have a good amount of it. I wouldn't have felt bad about giving you a smaller share of the loot because of that, combined with the fact that you initially refused to fight. Quote
Cutcobra Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I think you should not give Arthur a share for being a dirty traitor. Didn't he say that he would not fight Wren before the final battle?? Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Announcing you are a traitor still makes you a traitor. Quote
Zepher Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Final "official" party listing tomorrow, but for now we're done. Thanks all. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 So. This may seem a bit stupid, but what are Wren's actual crimes, besides making a lot of threats? I mean, she did enough to be killed over, but I feel like she never actually did something that really gave me that "Oh no you didn't!" vibe. I feel like I am missing something. Quote
