So. This may seem a bit stupid, but what are Wren's actual crimes, besides making a lot of threats? I mean, she did enough to be killed over, but I feel like she never actually did something that really gave me that "Oh no you didn't!" vibe. I feel like I am missing something.

Off the top of my head: she managed to start a war in Haddon, and was attempting to become a god.

Zepher, all I'm going to say now is that quest, and the whole series, was truly brilliant.

I should read 19 again, then. But we know that becoming a God is an impossibility, so that doesn't count. To Guts, she was just another crazy mage, I guess. Honestly, I think most of the Heroes were just after her because they want Playthings and Cookies.

Nothing notable. She's kind of pathetic.

Then explain how Skrall is now a statistically proven god-killing professional.

Oh okay. I didn't notice.

While you're at it, how about you change our rolls to something better too?

Seven assassinations aren't good enough for you?

Just finished reading the last bits of Quest 53. I'll have more to say in the QM Lounge, but, that was so epic.

That's rather rude considering how much effort Zepher put into writing and planning this quest.

Tanma, why wouldn't you be able to damage him?

De'kra has to fight from the Back Row, which means his effective power is 13, which is less than the Golem's SP. Of course, he COULD cast a spell instead, but De'kra isn't used to spellcasting.

Oops, didn't see this before posting. What's the point of being a sorcerer if you can't cast spells. :sceptic: Could've stayed an assassin, but if he wants to heal the party, I suppose that's fine too. He is the highest level hero in our party though, apart from Maurice.

So I was right. I am not the best with da rules, so if I do mess up, feel free to tell me.

Don't antagonize the QM, he might sic an army of undead on us.

Antagonizing QMs is what the game's about! Don't worry. If he sics an army of undeads on you, I'll sic an army of were-ravens on him... Or I might just do that anyways.

Admit it, Kintobor, you are just mad that we managed the battle without getting 1 single damage

Mad, slightly. Enraged, eh, not really. Scheming, oh yes! I plan on sticking some tough opponents on you, despite the fact you've completed the quest requirements. Consider this an added loot challenge now! Edited by Kintobor

I will. Thank you. :classic:

I hope Aldus's girlfriend doesn't rage out on us if we don't find him.

This a dumb question, but will fusing an 'effective' gem into a weapon with a 'not effective gem' cancel the power out? And how does a Hunter's favored type figure into it, does that also cancel out a 'not effective'?

Posted (edited)

I believe only the effective gem will count. For example a sword with a diamond and a amethyst will still deal double damage to a demon.

I stand corrected.
