Zepher Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Just an FYI so that it doesn't look like I am trying to cheat, but I was given a Zoot's Cookie and not a Grand Zoot's Cookie and have said so several times, and it's been overlooked or ignored. Either way, since it hasn't changed, I guess I will keep it as a GRAND Zoot's Cookie. Extra BONUS!!! Also, I have Ether core listed twice in my inventory. Does that mean I have 1 or 2? Thanks for the quest Zepher! You can make it a Grand. Yay for clerical failures. I think it means you have two. I sometime can't perfectly combine every item, so chances are I just failed to put them in the same place. Brickington just doesn't know the difference between Diplomacy and Intimidacion . Chances are high his "Diplomacy" won't work here, then. That's why we have different traits. Quote

Cutcobra Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 They should call it, "Aggressive Negotiations." If only all knights changed their name into "Padme"... Quote
Scorpiox Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 You can make it a Grand. Yay for clerical failures. Does this mean I can claim some bonus WP for the weaker plaything that I received? Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 If only all knights changed their name into "Padme"... Well considering about half of them are as hot-headed as Aniken Skywalker is portrayed in the Prequels.... ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I don't mean to be annoying (I probably am though :P), but has anyone got a new quest in the works? I'm pretty eager to get into the game already! :D 3 in the works, an epic triolgy, a stand alone focused more on puzzles, and an open ended free form one focused more on battles. One will be for newer players, one for advanced classes, and the last can be a mix. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Chances are high his "Diplomacy" won't work here, then. That's why we have different traits. Hey, "Diplomacy" is a whole different trait as well, different from Diplomacy and Intimidation that is. And I kind of agree with LordoftheNoobs's sentiment, I am eager to get in the game again as well. It's been like a week since Guts has seen any action! I hope with the return of Quest 53's heroes Quests will follow! Quote

If I'm exceptionally lucky, though, it may be sooner. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Yeesss more quests! My mind has went blank, and I can't think of any. So you probably wont see anything from me. Quote
Flipz Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Welcome back, Darth Nihilus! Indeed, welcome back! Be sure to check out your gift in the Grogmas Gifts topic--you got one of the better ones. Quote
Flare Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Yes, welcome back Dak. On a different note - the ending to quest 60 was very unexpected and even disturbing... Lindsey's response was little weak Quote

Lindsey's response was little weak Unexpected is good yes? Ya, the response was weak. I have no clue how someone would've reacted if some random guy just admitted they're in love with them and decided to kill themselves in front of them. Quote

Masked Builder Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Anyone know how I ended up with an extra four health? I keep getting 43 instead of 47. (Ranger (5) + Level (28) + Raw Meat (5) + ??? (3) + Zoot Cookie (1)=43) Quote

(3) + Zoot Cookie (1)=43) Assassin grants extra Health. We can always trade back if you want to. Doesn't hurt my feelings. Oh, no, no, I'm quite happy with the deal I got. That dagger is an important part of my Emergency Preparedness PackTM. I've got a couple of strategies involving it that range from smarter consumable use all the way to emergency life-saving maneuvers. It'd be nice if I could have a Hollow Blade in the Staff of the Cultist Battlemage as well (which, obviously, would contain either a Grand Potion or Smelling Salts in case of emergency), but I'm more than happy with the dagger. From the marketplace: Mead - Causes the encouraged-effect, doubling the target's attack power for the duration of one battle. Costs 15 gold. Smelling Salts - Causes the hastened-effect, allowing the target to act twice in one round for the duration of one battle. Costs 25 gold. Nostrum - Causes the lucky-effect, allowing the target to roll the battle die twice and get the better result of the two for the duration of one battle. Costs 35 gold. Soma – Causes the blessed-effect, allowing the target to recover 3 health at the end of each round for the duration of one battle. Costs 45 gold.[/font] Mulled Wine - Causes the inspired-effect, doubling the target's current and maximum health for the duration of one battle. Costs 55 gold. Those all look like liquids to me. Endgame Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Argh, you lucky little 48ers... Since I no longer have to worry about keeping another final boss waiting in the wings, I can give an ETA! I expect 48 to last 2, maybe 3, more weeks. I have a long weekend ahead of me, so we should be able to blitz through phase 1 of The Regret battle. Quote
JimBee Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 From the marketplace: Those all look like liquids to me. Smelling SALTS. You crush them and inhale them. I could be mistaken but I believe the previous ruling was that SS could not be stored in a hollow blade. Quote
Etzel Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 The Assassin bonus? If that's the case, you should have 48 health. Nope, 47 should be right since Alexis is on level 28 which gives 27 in health bonus. One for every level-up but nothing for the first one (since you never level-up from 0 to 1). Quote

I have a long weekend ahead of me, so we should be able to blitz through phase 1 of The Regret battle. What about the twist that Beatrice is actually Eve, and that the form she used earlier was simply to gauge our strength? And also the Mythrogg battle too. And then we'll have to fight the entire army and it's hidden leader, who turns out to have been Punii all along. Are you just saying 3 weeks to lull us into a false sense of security? I don't believe you for a second... Let alone 6 Months. The Longest day in Heroica. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited March 28, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
