CMP Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 So, all we have left is Barbarian/Rogue Cleric/Knight Ranger/Mage I believe. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Quite recently: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58807&view=findpost&p=1109465 Thanks! Quote
K-Nut Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Again, just in case you weren't joking, the classes have nothing to do with how your character looks. I assumed that we wouldn't have to wear a turban as a sorcerer, (but that would fit into the castle CB ) but I wasn't sure about the sage. And since when were there glasses in Heroica? If Mage/Ranger is anything like the druid, I'm in. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Ok, Cleric/Knight=Paladin Barbarian/Rogue=Mercenary? Ranger/Mage=Magician?? Quote
Etzel Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 And since when were there glasses in Heroica? Since when weren't there? It's not like they didn't have glasses during the Middle Ages so why not in a fantasy world? Quote
Bricksandparts Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Yeah, there's a library in Heroica, only popes and some priests could even read. Kings had to have messages translated. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Yet another lovely set WBD. I really appreciate the efforts you have put in with these. When you see the stuff I've made for Quest#13, it's not in the same league as any of the stuff we've seen from the QMs. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Pics of the hybrid classes are nice, but I am looking forward to stats. Quote
The Legonater Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 (edited) Pics of the hybrid classes are nice, but I am looking forward to stats. Same here. Although I love seeing these classe, my final choices will be down to the stats and abilities. Edited November 9, 2011 by The Legonater Quote
JimBee Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 For the player characters, the hastened status gives them two turns in one round (both with their individual rolls). In enemies' case, I'd agree with you that it would give the enemy an unpreventable free hit. The negative effects also have slightly different mechanics depending on if they're inflicted on the heroes or on the enemies, so I think we can all accept this to include the positive effects as well. Wait, could explain this a bit more? how would having a hastened effect give the enemy a free hit? Or cause the whole party to KO. (Also, Jeb, what does "aoe" mean? ) The new batch looks excellent by the way. The Sage minifigs look awesome. Nice ones, Sandy. Quote
Chromeknight Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Wait, could explain this a bit more? how would having a hastened effect give the enemy a free hit? Or cause the whole party to KO. I think the situations being referred to depend on who has haste. If an enemy has haste, it is treated as if that enemy gets a free hit. (unless they weren't targeted at all and would then get two free hits). On the flip side, If a hero has haste they get to make two attacks, which runs the risk of triggering an enemy's special twice (about 2% of the time). Depending on the special the enemy has, this could wipe a party out very quickly. aoe = area of effect, world of warcraft term. ie. a special which damages multiple heroes in one attack. Quote
Jebediahs Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Chromeknight For a hastened hero, do they attack twice in a row or is their second attack reserved for after everyone has attacked in the battle order? Quote
Kadabra Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Just wondering, how do magical artifacts like the Thorny Diadem, cloaks/robes, Helmet, and Spiked Collar work? Do you have to equip them, or do you get their effects just from arrying them around? Is there a limit to the number of artifacts affecting you at a time? Are there categories of Artifact, I.e. Bodywear, Headgear, Gauntlets, etc.? I seem to recall reading something like that in the Rules, but Nur has the Helmet and Diadem both affecting his head at the sime time so I'm not sure. Sorry for all the questions, as there are a couple of cool and interesting artifacts I was thinking of hiding in a Quest I plan on hosting eventually so I wanted to know a bit more about them. Quote
Jebediahs Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Heh yeah good questions. I roleplayed I laid the Diadem on my head under my bandana under my helmet. Dunno if allowed to do that though. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Not sure about the other items, but the Cloaks and Robes are meant to be worn one at a time. (and at the moment, only one character has them, and his two Cloaks won't be used at the same time) It'd be up to the QM to decide if a player can wear more than one and how the effects would combine, but if I was given the choice as creator of the items, I would say that only one can be used at a time. Actually, in the rules, it states only one Artifact can be worn at a time by default. Quote

Waterbrick Down Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I'm not sure if this has been commented on yet, but I am thoroughly enjoying your enemies stats Jebediahs. They all seem quite fitting, I wish I had been more creative in my battles, but we all learn something. Quote
The_Customizer Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Sandy, if it isn't too hard, could you post what classes lead to the higher classes? Like what a Mage and Cleric mixed is. Just so we know what each class can become. (Unless of course you plan on doing that when you fully release the new classes) Quote

Fred Daniel Yam Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Still unknown are the Knight-Cleric (almost certainly a Paladin), Ranger-Mage, and Barbarian-Rogue. I thought about this long and hard and I now think Ranger/Mage is a Summoner, think about it. Quote
