LordoftheNoobs Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 @Scorpiox, re: Haldor: Check out Guy Sebasian - Battle Scars. That'd be a perfect theme song for him. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Item: Scroll of Revenge (1/2 Chance of getting revenge on target, uses 1 ether) Now Guts is going to imbue that in his shoes and no one will ever get revenge on him again! Quote
Flare Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 (edited) Now Guts is going to imbue that in his shoes and no one will ever get revenge on him again! XD Quest 57 - that was an awful first round... I guess its because of Endgame Edited March 31, 2013 by Flare Quote
Kintobor Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Ooh! Why do I never look into the brackets! My very own quest: Now, as a few of you know I have been planning to host my own quest. But the sets are my problem. It takes me ages to build things and even then I need to recycle pieces to build the next set. I also am lacking in figures that could represent the factions. I have now rethought and have started on a new quest which I am more capable to building. So I was wondering. Would anyone who has hosted a quest before be willing to share the workload with me? I'd just need a few sets and/or maps. Well, why don't you pm me, and we'll talk about it. I'll make you an offer you can't refuse! Quote
-obelix- Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Quest 57 - that was an awful first round... I guess its because of Endgame Its not good, but could have been much worse if, for instance, Boomingham got hit with "Bringer of Death"... On another subject, does being Petrified + Blessed make Thalion some sort of a Holy Statue? Quote
CMP Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Since when? Since always. Only shields can be upgraded. It's what keeps them relevant, mechanics-wise. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 (edited) Since when? Too slow again, damn you Pie, one day, one day... Now Guts is going to imbue that in his shoes and no one will ever get revenge on him again! Imagine, everything you'd do would be without negative consequence! Even Docken gets inflicted with a negative effect every now again. Do you really want to be less fun than Docken? Quote
The Legonater Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Since always. Only shields can be upgraded. It's what keeps them relevant, mechanics-wise. Well, there goes one brilliant plan. Not sure how useful buying SP:1 armour is in that case. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Your only option right now for upgradeable SP is Warden, Legonater. Warden with a Lucky Die, this is going to be hilarious. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 I think you mean Black Knight, I'm a rogue, not a Ranger. Oh, that's right; you started as Rogue. Oops. As far as usefulness, 1 SP is practically nothing in most cases, but every little bit helps, so if you have the Gold to spare, go for it. Otherwise, if you're short on Gold (which you're not), invest in something else. Quote
CMP Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Alternatively you could imbue gems and scrolls into your stuff. AoE Special Skills are usually elemental and/or deal effects, which is most of the damage you will should be taking with your Lucky Die. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Speaking of which, is Elphaba going to be coming this time of year, I need some more protection. Sandy announced Elphaba's arrival a couple hours ago. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Sandy announced Elphaba's arrival a couple hours ago. Yes, sorry, I just realized. Going back a page is hard, okay. Quote
The Legonater Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 So, quick question, do opposing gems (Like, say Amethyst and Diamond) neutralize when protecting against damage the same as the do attacking? Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 And I'm just going to ask this again, am I allowed to sell the Metasimian Ale for 300 gold (to the store), it's an item I created, that was apparantly able to fetch 300 gold according to an old drunk. I never intended it to be reused, but I got one through the Grogmas gifts. I'm unsure of the proper course of action here. So, quick question, do opposing gems (Like, say Amethyst and Diamond) neutralize when protecting against damage the same as the do attacking? How would they? Remember they only protect against attacks specified as being elemental (e.g. certain specials) Not enemy types. Quote

On the black market. Because it's an illegal substance. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 (edited) So, quick question, do opposing gems (Like, say Amethyst and Diamond) neutralize when protecting against damage the same as the do attacking? Basically, yes. I think. Edited March 31, 2013 by Skyrimguy Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 On the black market. Because it's an illegal substance. Yeah, I would say that since it's not an artifact, a weapon, or an offered tool or consumable, so you wouldn't be able to sell it to anyone in the Marketplace. Similar to Bones which can only be sold to magic shops like Elphaba's. Basically, yes, more complex; You deal double damage to humanoid enemies and demons. No, he's talking about imbuing them in an artifact, not a weapon. In artifacts, they just protect against elemental Damage of that one type. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 On the black market. Because it's an illegal substance. So basically I'd have to meet Gurnam. I'd be okay with that actually. Quote
The Legonater Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 So, would that give me immunity to all element attacks? In a second burst of shopping, I buy a Garnet, Emerald, Opal, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz, Diamond and Amethyst, (1365 - 100 - 100 - 100 - 100 - 100 - 100 - 100 - 100 = 565) and imbue them and my Aquamarine into the Tricorne (565 - 50 - 50 - 50 - 50 - 50 - 50 - 50 - 50 - 50 = 115).
