Scorpiox Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I've just noticed how it has become a running joke how many times Arthur and Dyric have called each other 'brother'. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Sometimes it seems like all of Heroica is trying to prevent Guts from getting the fourth Mythril Shard. There's finally a quest that would give him one guaranteed, and it doesn't accept Rogues. Quote

Masked Builder Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 LOVE the puzzle Sandy. Excellent deviation from the constant battling. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 LOVE the puzzle Sandy. Excellent deviation from the constant battling. Agreed. Although I've printed out the machine and the nine tiles, and cut them out so I can turn and arrange them, and I'm still stuck! Quote
Masked Builder Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Agreed. Although I've printed out the machine and the nine tiles, and cut them out so I can turn and arrange them, and I'm still stuck! I may have to try to solve it myself... Quote
Cutcobra Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I may have to try to solve it myself... Too lazy... *cough cough* I don't have Photoshop* cough cough* Quote
Flipz Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Agreed. Although I've printed out the machine and the nine tiles, and cut them out so I can turn and arrange them, and I'm still stuck! Why on earth would you print them out when you can just build them?! Seriously, though, that's how I figured out WBD's plank puzzle from Q28; I built the setup in LDD and moved the planks around until I figured out the solution. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Lol. It would be irresponsible to allow the overpowered to become even more so. I'm not overpowered, just misunderstood. Although your ways of preventing me from getting that are extreme. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 (edited) And that IS one cool puzzle, I'm having fun solving it at the moment! Edited April 5, 2013 by Scubacarrot Quote
Rumble Strike Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Showoff! Seriously, you are always very quick with the puzzles when I've QMed you Quote
CMP Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Got it finally. That's easily one of the toughest puzzles in Heroica. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Showoff! Seriously, you are always very quick with the puzzles when I've QMed you I thought I had it, but it didn't completely fit, still working on it! Quote
Rumble Strike Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I've had a really good go at it and I can't get it. I blame being poorly! Hopefully one of my Questmates will get it. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Got it finally. That's easily one of the toughest puzzles in Heroica. Not for long.. Mwahahahaha Quote
JimBee Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I'll take a try at the puzzle once I get home. On that note regular posting as QM and character will continue as of today. As for pairings with other players, Hybros has quested with Eric and Chris four times each, and has been hosted by Sandy five times. I've only had two other QMs, Zepher twice and Xarrzan once. Quote
Endgame Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 And I thought my 42 move bomb defusal puzzle was bad... I applaud you, Sandy. The True Final Battle is going to be kick off tonight, 48ers! Just give me half an hour to get on my normal rig and kick off the grand finale! It has been a great quest, guys... Now, we'll get to end this. Lets say The Regret is smarter then pretty much every enemy encountered in Heroica. Quote

Endgame Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 When did I mention a robot? Ohh, you'll see by tonight... Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 When did I mention a robot? Ohh, you'll see by tonight... I was referring to you. (and Inky) ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Endgame Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Oh, no, Inky wasn't a robot, he was an ether-generated abomination from another realm. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 If he was smart though he would have killed us way back when but I guess not because he wanted to become emperor I suppose. I think he still made some unnecessary mistakes. Quote
Endgame Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 His goal never was to take the reins: he wanted the Princes power to remain stable, and leaved the task of killing you to them to not undermine them. Any dead princes he would just be able to resurrect down the line; and, should they all fall, this scenario would occur: and he'd be able to pry information off of each and every dead Progg to set up the entire "join me" gambit in his favor. He has had quite a few gambits running for some time, even creating his own doppelganger for back-up purposes - they only mistake he ever made was placing that in the grotto, but its destruction was inconsequential.
