Endgame Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I'm very curious which one you picked, Zepher. My bet is on Contagion... Quote
Masked Builder Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I'm going to bribe Masked Builder into changing all your die results to 6 That'd be one heck of a bribe. Just wondering, as a QM, should I build the sets before or after I apply it to sandy? And in these new quests, Is there a little room for sarge ? I really want to go on a Sandy quest, and I've never been on a big one! Sandy usually likes to see a few sets, so before. Quote

Speaking from past experience, I'd make sure you have nearly everything built/photographed by the time the quest starts. Players have a nasty habbit of getting through certain parts of your quest unexpectantly quickly and it's good to have the next scene on hand rather than trying to play catch up and build as you go. Flipz Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 WBD, how dare you host a quest alongside Sandy! I have been trying to get on a Sandy quest forever, and how am I supposed to go on every quest you ever host if Sandy hosts one at the same time (I know I already missed one, but even so ). But...but...I wanted Boomers to play with Mercutio in May... Seriously thinking about signing up for 66...I'll have to think hard about this one. Quote
Flare Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 What happened to Zoltan's icon? Is he a robot now or something? Quote
Zepher Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 We're almost through with #57, so you'll definitely make it back in time for #66 (thats the quest you want, right?)... of course it depends on your and your team-mates activity! I know we are, or else I wouldn't be speaking about my excitement for 66. I'm enjoying the present quest AND looking towards the future, not wishing I were there instead of here. Quote

Zepher Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 But...but...I wanted Boomers to play with Mercutio in May... I'd love to be there for your first attempt at hosting! Depends on when in May you host it, Sandy quests have been both notoriously short and notoriously long in recent months. Quote
Flipz Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Yeah, that's true. Sandy, how long do you expect Q66 to run? Quote
Zepher Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Other than Quest 2 and Quest 57, what quests did heroes fight rats that y'all can remember? Quote
UsernameMDM Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Other than Quest 2 and Quest 57, what quests did heroes fight rats that y'all can remember? Rats or vermin? Quote
Flare Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Rats or vermin? I think he meant specifically rats. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Yeah, that's true. Sandy, how long do you expect Q66 to run? Depends if Atramor and Haldor are coming along. Quote
Zepher Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Oh, I mean good ol' fashion rats. It's the final stage of planning for this Russel Quest. Quote
joeshmoe554 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 (edited) Doing a quick search through Heroica's history I was able to find these quests. 2, 6, 11, 15, 18, 23, 25, 27, 28, 29, 40, 57, 61 Unlimited I'm a little suspicious of that gap between 29 and 57, so I probably missed a few due to QMs using different language in their battle descriptions. EDIT: Added 23, 40, and Unlimited Edited April 9, 2013 by joeshmoe554 Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Like Masked said, you'll want a few for Sandy to see. Players have a nasty habbit of getting through certain parts of your quest unexpectantly quickly and it's good to have the next scene on hand rather than trying to play catch up and build as you go. I don't think I've ever shown Sandy a set before hosting. I sent a big outline in for Quest 4. For Quest 17 I said, "I have this idea for a mechanic and want to host a quest," and Sandy said, "Okay." Zeph pitched the Dastan Trilogy for me. Quote
Cutcobra Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I'd love to get in one of the new quests with Karie, Kintobor. Quote
Sandy Posted April 9, 2013 Author Posted April 9, 2013 Yeah, that's true. Sandy, how long do you expect Q66 to run? It's going to be a short one, actually. I don't think I've ever shown Sandy a set before hosting. Yes you did, way back before Quest #4. After seeing the images of the villages that you prepared for it, I was thoroughly convinced and didn't need to see more ever again. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Yes you did, way back before Quest #4. After seeing the images of the villages that you prepared for it, I was thoroughly convinced and didn't need to see more ever again. I did? That would make sense; I had some images prepared way ahead of time for that quest. Quote
Kintobor Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I'd love to get in one of the new quests with Karie, Kintobor. So would I! However I also want to get back with Brickington and Arnulf, despite that being a stretch. And yeah, my quest had rats. Dire Rats. If anyone wants to reuse them, go ahead. The only ones I don't want people reusing are the Shadows. I got more planned for those guys. Quote
CMP Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Other than Quest 2 and Quest 57, what quests did heroes fight rats that y'all can remember? Let's see....Quest 11, Quest 18, Quest 23, and Quest 40, off the top of my head. If only because Atramor was present for all of them. They follow him around like a plague.... Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 There was at least one rat in the basement battle of 23 as well. And there was a Ratmancer in 40! Quote
Cutcobra Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 After all this time I still don't get what the mission in quest #62 is. Quote
