Endgame Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 (edited) The calculating is the easiest part of running a round. Its formatting everything to satisfy your pedantic nature that gets me. Edited April 11, 2013 by Endgame Quote
CMP Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 (edited) You forgot "immune to all damage". What's he drop. I'm not stingy, I doubled your average enemy's loot. So, that'd be 4 gold. Edited April 11, 2013 by CallMePie Quote
Flipz Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 The calculating is the easiest part of running a round. Its formatting everything to satisfy your pedantic nature that gets me. Actually, WHEN the formatting is consistent between all the characters, it's a lifesaver; when I ran that round in 48 for you, I updated all the party members in real-time, which (with the exception of Galen's friggin' Gold ) kept me safe from making mistakes and actually alleviated most of my headaches. The moral of the story? Format consistently! (And format it the way I do. ) I'm not stingy, I doubled your average enemy's loot. So, that'd be 4 gold. I don't have anything more to add, but this needed to be quoted. For truth. Quote
Endgame Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 (edited) Oh, always do it action by action. But scrolling up and down, up and down, bolding this, italicizing that, lowering that by one, put a > in front of that thing, switch the position of the : and ) over there, giving Alex his hard-earned one gold... Capt.JohnPaul Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 I kind of wonder when you'll start remembering. Quote

Endgame Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 No, the enemy I'm facing already drops an Ether Core! No more! Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 I suffer from all three; plus a lack of bricks. Buy the Uruk Hai Army. You don't need anything else! (But seriously, sorry that's pretty much the only set I have with me. I hope it doesn't make the backdrops too monotonous.) Someone needs to drop Sorrow an Amulet of Ether Restoration (Grants one Ether Core for every successful assassination). Yes! I kind of wonder when you'll start remembering. Hopefully you won't be getting paid until we can deal with the bloody string. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
The Legonater Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Think I've got a slightly better revenge card in my hand, but I won't be able to play it until my third or fourth Quest (due to having to set up NPCs and story and mechanics and the like). And unlike most "QM revenge schemes", mine will not only be revenge, but it will actually be mechanically fair and necessary AND will make perfect sense WITHIN the storyline! Why does it feel like everyone's stealing my amazing plot points before I can even start the story? Quote

Jas will just have to wait before he can rise. Quote
CMP Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 QM Note: Hexed heroes act no matter what, if I recall. Hang on, is that actually how it works? Whenever I hex an enemy, it usually only takes effect the round after they're hexed... Quote
Endgame Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 I believe Alex acted the round he got hexed, though I may be wrong. Quote
Flipz Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 That's not right; if they've already acted, Hexed doesn't automatically grant them an extra turn. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 (edited) He already Acted though. He can't act twice in a round unless he's hastened, right? That's not how I ran it with Dreyrugr this passed round, at-least. That's not right; if they've already acted, Hexed doesn't automatically grant them an extra turn. Ah, good, thanks! That was terrifying. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited April 11, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 (edited) A hexed hero acts irregardless of whether or not they are put in the battle order/post an action, though, so... I think that only refers to what they say: ie: A hero cannot say: "Since I'm Hexed, I'm going to drink a potion, BR," Or, "Don't put me on the battle order: I'm Hexed." They will attack regardless, but If a Hero no longer has a legal move to make, it can't make one, I think. I've been providing Alex with an action so that when he's freed he'll do something. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited April 11, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote

Pandora Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 You're in for a surprise if I ever QM you. Unpaid Assassin Level 60 God Health: 1500/1500 *Snip* Pie, that's hilarious, I would love to watch that fight. Special: Retribution - Unpaid Assassin uses a random special selected from either U'Vires, Vonnetate, Mephisto, Zane, Zee, Zander, the Magician, and anybody from a Zepher Quest who can claim to have been at least part god at some point or another. Could you even count Nyx in that? After all she did sort of pretend to be someone usurping a god... or something. Anyways, she packs a fair wallop as well. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Ah, I missed out on the leveling debate. Anyways, regarding gaining experience for outside battle activities, quest 65 is puzzle based with only 5 optional battles, so there will definitely be experience being given for creative solutions to puzzles. Skyrimguy, quest 65 is aimed for ~2 months, maybe a little less. Quote
