Cutcobra Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Small question: what kind of enemy's types are more common after humanoids? Vermin (I think). Quote
Brickington Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Okay, I have a question. I am about to go to the market and buy stuff. If you were me, what would you buy? My stats are at the bottom of my about me page. Quote

Brickington Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 (edited) You're right. Before I go and buy an SP item, does anyone have an item they would like to sell to me? Also, would you suggest the Knight's Armor? Edited April 15, 2013 by Brickington Quote

Flare Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Perhaps it would be better to purchase some shield upgrades instead? Yeah, shields are important! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Small question: what kind of enemy's types are more common after humanoids? Vermin or Beasts Well, I can say that I do both. Although so far I am only a player and not a QM. So if your building for both, I can see that being a major challenge. Just saying, we would love you to come back and build for Avalonia, doc. Maybe that's something you should consider. I'm sort of in the same boat as Brickdoctor, spent a lot of time with Kaliphilin, but didn't have time for QMing and Historica. One of these days I'd like to go back. Okay, I have a question. I am about to go to the market and buy stuff. If you were me, what would you buy? My stats are at the bottom of my about me page. You actually have a fair amount of SP due to that helmet, so perhaps an upgrade in WP would be in order. Alternatively you could upgrade your shield and look at purchasing consumables. As a knight, your job is to soak up hits and keep your party safe. You can do this by purchasing nostrums in order to increase your chances of rolling sentinel or purchase smelling salts to absorb more free hits by being hastened. I'd recommend staying away from meads as only 2/6 of your rolls do damage. Quote
CMP Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Where the heck did Haldor get a southern accent? Quote
Scorpiox Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Where the heck did Haldor get a southern accent? Southern, as in south of where? Quote
CMP Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Southern, as in south of where? The north...where I thought he was from. Quote
Endgame Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 (edited) Well, if you go South enough, you eventually come back in the North, right? Edited April 15, 2013 by Endgame Quote
CMP Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Well, if you go South enough, you eventually come back in the North, right? Yeah, but once you cross the south pole, you're technically just going north again. Quote
Scorpiox Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 The north...where I thought he was from. I'm just experimenting with a few things until I get it right. Better? Quote
Flipz Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 (edited) Haldor sounds like he's from Oklahoma or something. He sounds like Skrall. Or Hagrid. Or both. Edited April 15, 2013 by Flipz Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 I've been wondering; CJP, what would have happened in quest 60 had we not noticed Sullivan to be similar to the stalker? Quote
Cutcobra Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 I'm looking foward to see what the #108 star looks like. I also wonder if the #108 quest will include the Ji Pei . Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I've been wondering; CJP, what would have happened in quest 60 had we not noticed Sullivan to be similar to the stalker? You would've had to keep looking, and if you still couldn't find him, the kidnapping would've happened at night, where Sullivan would've been stronger, you might have negative effects, and if you defeated him, he would've ran away again. (But also leave behind a clue or two.) Quote
JimBee Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I'm looking foward to see what the #108 star looks like. I also wonder if the #108 quest will include the Ji Pei . Actually I think we already met the 108th Star, towards the beginning. Quote
Cutcobra Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Actually I think we already met the 108th Star, towards the beginning. True... . Well then, can't wait to see what quest #108 is all about . Quote
Zepher Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 As lame as this is.... trying to keep Boomingham's accounts straight. He owed 50 gold to Docken, but since Arthur paid Docken back... that debt transfers to Arthur. Of course, Boomingham doesn't know that.... so, what should I do? Also, Sorrow, remember, if you want that gold back you'll have to ask Boomingham for it yourself, and he'll be haggling the whole time. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 If there's no major roleplaying associated with it, it'd probably be best if everyone assumed that Boomingham owed Arthur 50 more Gold from the start and nothing to Docken. This debt is confusing enough as it is. But if you still want Boomingham to owe Docken something, I can just pay Arthur 1 Gold for the Scroll. Then Arthur will only have paid back 49 Gold, so only 49 Gold of the 50 Gold debt will be owed to Arthur, and Boomingham will still owe Docken 1 Gold. Quote
Zepher Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I'll see what Flipz has to say. I'm sure he'd prefer that we go through all the confusing gold stuff, and I personally would enjoy it too. Though with him giving NUR gold (rich little bugger) maybe he'll just clear my debt. Quote
