Masked Builder Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Masked, Harlots are unable to use Sticky Gloves. Also, they don't make that much gold, the number of enemies remaining is probably always going to be under 10, so you're looking at a long time before you get your gold out of them. Well I can't use them but I do get gold decently. Shield rolls and the end of battle. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Well I can't use them but I do get gold decently. Shield rolls and the end of battle. I think it's a steady sum if you add it up, but in most cases, not really that much. In a boss battle without any minions or body parts or something you get 1 gold at the end, and 1 gold at every shield... Quote
Tanma Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Well that round accomplished nothing. Is this the final battle by the way? Quote
JimBee Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Well I can't use them but I do get gold decently. Shield rolls and the end of battle. Point being you can't make use fo the Sticky Gloves, so why would you want them? Unless of course you went back to Assassin. Well that round accomplished nothing. Is this the final battle by the way? Who knows? (Yes it is. You did opt out of one battle for a total of four on this quest, two being optional). Quote
Endgame Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 What pieces did you put in the Rotten Core, JMB? It looks absolutely disgusting in the best way possible. Quote
Palathadric Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Wait, this is only the third battle. I guess we could have fought Umbra if we really wanted to. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I am Captain Pellaeon of the Bonaparte fleet Argh, now I have to rename one of my future NPCs. (Was actually going to be Captain Gerland Peale-Leon serving under Admiral Mathias Thraune, but same obvious inspiration.) Quote
JimBee Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 What pieces did you put in the Rotten Core, JMB? It looks absolutely disgusting in the best way possible. Thank you! I just used the apple green canopy piece (from an Atlantis set I think), attached two isosceles trapezoid pieces on a hinge, and shoved in some spare sprues (from the three leaf plant). It's not attached to the dragon's body, but it sits nicely without falling off. ...By JMB you do mean me, right? Wait, this is only the third battle. I guess we could have fought Umbra if we really wanted to. Yep. I said this would be a shorter quest, and actually it's taken a bit longer than I thought it would (going on 2 months now). Quote
Palathadric Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Well, yeah, because we are doing next to no damage to these enemies. So of course it's taking time. Quote
Endgame Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 JiMButcher? Sorry, messed up for a second there. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 (edited) Well, there you have it. The Newt madness is over. Go back to your homes, and Flipz, get a room. Those of you who got transformed may receive little trinkets for being so sporting of it. Now we get back to all the serious, gritty, timed, melodramatic, Cloak-and-Daggery stuff. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited April 22, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
JimBee Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Well, yeah, because we are doing next to no damage to these enemies. So of course it's taking time. Yes, which is why I've tried to compensate for a less offensive-oriented party in this battle. JiMButcher? Sorry, messed up for a second there. No problem, I just wasn't sure if Jedi Master Brick had something similar in Quest 48. Quote
Etzel Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Oh, it's the last battle? I didn't realize we were already at the end. Bah, Maurice shouldn't have been so chivalrous to Umbra then, he needs the XP! I'll guess this battle will be quicker once we roll special damage against the Rotten Core. Might take some time that as well, though... Quote
Endgame Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Yikes, K-nut, Althior has gone off into the deep end of the deep end of the deep end. Quote
K-Nut Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Yikes, K-nut, Althior has gone off into the deep end of the deep end of the deep end. Too much? I was actually planning on taking it farther once 66 leaves, but if it's become redundant already... Quote
Endgame Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I would advise taking it slower. You already managed to drive off pretty much half of your friends. Quote
K-Nut Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Well, Althior's narcissistic qualities never allowed him to have more than five or six friends. Quote
Endgame Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 That seems to be the average number, actually. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Well, Althior's narcissistic qualities never allowed him to have more than five or six friends. I just read that, and I could have sworn you were saying "Suck it, Nerd Nord!" ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Endgame Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Bloody hell, I completely messed up and misread how I was supposed to play Arthur. I'm a moron. Retconning time - give me a moment please to fix up my mistakes. Quote
Kintobor Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 "I got nothing for a song about newts. Sorry!" Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 "I got nothing for a song about newts. Sorry!" Well, it's not a show-tune, and it's not technically about Newts, but I can't wait to show off the item Nessa's getting. The title is puntastic. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Endgame Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 (edited) Okay, hopefully that post fixes the huge mess-up I made. I am not thinking today, and I apologize for that big RP blunder. Edited April 23, 2013 by Endgame Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 (edited) Is this going to be permanent, or just for the time-being? I'm so accustomed to her mask! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited April 23, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
