Scubacarrot Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Why do they kill any of the animals? Those adorable sheep were just grazing in the meadows an then... I have to disagree on that one. Those sheep were way too damn cute, they were definitely hiding something. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 To be honest the whole quest can be summed up with the word 'awkward'. I'm sure Scorpiox is right about that, after all, Haldor has experience with 'awkward' and 'nudity'. Quote

CMP Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 This is the most accurate description of the Fields party. Benji removes one of lambs mercilessly while the party hacks at the other adorable little sheep and wolves, the former of which nibble on their fingers. The wardens decide this can only be punished with force and proceed to kick them. Quote
Endgame Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 How could Sylph ever endorse a visit to the fields of glory? It is quite literally desecrating nature in unlimited quest form. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Yeah, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense, RP wise. That Dragon was just chilling on his mountain. Perhaps killing a few of the animals on the fields every now and again. (which the party killed too.) He didn't even have Epic Loot of much description. (his tail doesn't count). "We did it for the Experience! And an old farmer offered us points!" Docken doesn't need an in-character reason for killing something. We all know he only does stuff for loot and XP. Quote

Flipz Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Good, playing Arthur is hard! Honestly, though, everything he says just has such weight to it... mending his relationship directly through him was not something I was too comfortable writing. That, and I am not a romantic. At all. Hopefully you can pick off where I left off. It's up to Masked at this point. I've got a few different songs lined up depending on Alexis' response...assuming she gives one before Q66 departs... You did a really great job. I sometimes have trouble with words where Arthur would not (that's usually what makes his speeches go from "long but readable and important speech" to "rambling nonsensical monologue"), you managed to convey exactly what Arthur wanted to say without my habit of fumbling around for words. I said this back when I had Zepher controlling Arthur while I was offline back in the summer, but it bears repeating: sometimes it's good for me to see what my character looks like with someone else writing and/or interpreting him. It helps to separate him from me, letting me see important aspects of his character that sometimes I'd miss on my own. I mean, look at how De'kra's interpretation of Arthur shaped his whole family background and homeland! Also. You. Dragon Scales. Nao. Trust me, I'm certain they'll be worth it. Quote

The ends always justify the means. He shall accomplish his goal if it means starting a wildfire that would consume the entire world in its fiery clutches... to be overly dramatic of course. He would definitely not do that. Also, IMO, the monsters in the field are all mutated by magic and mumbo jumbo (like allot of things in this world) and would probably reek havoc on any natural ecosystem if they were released into one. I'm sure Scorpiox is right about that, after all, Haldor has experience with 'awkward' and 'nudity'. Once you go newt, you change your route. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Flipz Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Aww, Q50 died. Shame. But guys, you'd better have Tensi run into the Ice room and drop a Smoke Bomb, so that Sandy doesn't pull a Zepher on Jun. Quote

Even if they were, they are in some guy's fields, it's all good. I feel someone has to start up an Uland Preservation Movement or something. Stop the Slaughter! Animals and Monsters are people too!
