Quest #50 was just getting to the meat of the story, and I'm not willing to throw that away. Just wait for the "conclusion" of Q#50 to see what I'm talking about...

And that is exactly the problem, it's taken us five months to get this far, and we'd be looking at least two more months to finish the quest at this pace, something none of us were feeling particularly up for. I have a lot of things to say about the quest, but that will come once the conclusion is up.

Confession: I miss the Fields already. I could have done with a bit fewer brute force battles and some more strategy, but I'm in an RP lull. I just want to roll and fight and loot and rinse and repeat. I'd love to hop right back in, but I also want to stick around in the Hall a while, see if any interesting quests pop up. Plus, I've got a busy summer lined up, so...

Bah. Decisions.

Engame, is there a particular reason you bought an extra Opal rather than imbuing the one you already have?

Because incompetence?

In the name of fair play I didn't remove the Opal, I simply sold it back for 50 gold.

Agreed with Quarry on this one. 5 months is a long time to be questing when you haven't even got to the meat of the storyline. Unless you're in an Endgame Quest, obviously.

Well, we already got to the meat of the story... In fact, we've been dealing with the Head(s) now for more than half the time.

I had a dream last night where Arthur started dressing in dark grays and blacks. He had this grunting face for a head, and a black helmet with a red translucent visor. He kind of looked like a Rock Raider or one of the Dino Attack figures. You know, the ones with rubbery raptors.

I'd like to apologize to you, 62ers. There was supposed to be a clue in what I've been saying, but I didn't execute it correctly, and it would have lead you down the wrong path if you'd found it. I have since fixed the initial options to reflect the proper clue. :wall: Sorry for my incompetence. You didn't catch it though, but I've made it a bit more obvious now too.

Maybe you're thinking of the Space Police line? At the moment, Arthur's primary colors are blue and dark red, and they'll continue to be so for the forseeable future. (He was blue and white as a Mage, then sand blue and black in his first Sorcerer outfit, with blue and dark red as accent colors. They've since become more integral to his future designs.)

Quest 62 heroes, don't let xxlrocka convince you to go back! Heroica 101: you've got to attack the innocent rat! (Just saying, I would've attacked the rat and tried to burn down the wall with Fire-elemental magic - or at least searched the crate.)

These are all valid options, but not the only actions you can make. :sadnew: Poor rats.

I have to apologize for the length, I did not anticipate it would be drawn out that much. It was the sum of many factors, which we can analyze later. At least it gave me important information about what works in the context of this game and what doesn't.

Sorry you guys had to become my lab rats.

Finish the damn quest so that we can tell you all the things WE think worked and didn't in the QM thread. There will be praise there too, never fear!

I would definitely encourage you not to throw away anything you worked on for Q50. It was a perfect storm of little things that brought it down; individually, the vast majority of the choices you made were awesome.

This. So this.

Oh, and start that quest I'm on as well.

I have to say, I've been inspired having Phil as my little avatar. I'm getting excited to ramp up and host my next set of quests... probably sign-ups being a month away, though I have to iron out a few more details for Russel's and a lot more details for Guffington!

THAT BEING SAID: are there ANY NPCs that people REALLY want to see again from my quests, or, more importantly, other quests. Both Russel and Guffington have a high possibility of including other NPCs, so if there are a few that people really want to see back and I have the pieces for, I'd love to include them in some manner!

Gurnam is one of the NPCs I've wanted to feature for a ridiculously long time. I sadly don't have the parts for him, though. Perhaps he'll still appear - in my imagination, he and Guffington are friends in some capacity.

Get on bricklink and buy the figure for like 2 bucks you stingy... Joking, joking.

You killed off all the NPCs I really liked. :cry_sad: Vipera, I suppose, especially for Russel, but that's the only one I can really think of. :sadnew:

Well, I'd like to see more XX, but as a RECRUITABLE ALLY for once! Seriously! (Actually, that's a really interesting idea--offering the POSSIBILITY of recruiting XX, in exchange for some other task...)

I'd like to see Docken meet Phil again just because so much has happened since the Arena, but then again, I don't roleplay Docken, so I don't know if I'd have much to say if they did. Mostly I just want to go on Guffington 2.

Although on that note, I think it would be interesting (Not that I would roleplay it in the quest, but I'd be interested to see how it plays out as a reader/player of the quest.) if Docken went on a Town Watch quest. Not caring about anything but finishing the quest the right way to get the reward as soon as possible and all that.

...so...Arthur on 66 minus roleplaying?
