Brickdoctor Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Or you know, you use a remedy. Most of the battles where none of the enemies are immune to sudden death and the rest of the heroes are still in excellent Health are going to be the earlier battles where I wouldn't want to waste the Soul Cage and a bunch of Remedies. I see the item being more useful as a last-ditch effort. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 I don't understand, I think. I mean if you take a remedy, the doomed effect goes away, so you can use it, without killing yourself. Quote

Yes, but in a situation where I'm using it as a last-ditch effort, I don't have to waste a Turn to use a Remedy if I have the Cobweb Cowl equipped. I don't really plan to buy it, though. Warden's don't make much Gold and I have other things I want to buy. Quote

Palathadric Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Quest 59 heroes, I'm fairly certain that both Etzel and Palathadric can heal the dragon if the core can't be defeated quickly enough. I know, but I want to know if we can remedy it first. Then there's no real danger. For now, I kind of like the idea of us all piling on the Rotten Core. Hopefully it'll speed things up a bit. Quote

Scubacarrot Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 "Patricia, it has been too long. I'm sure you recall my friend Nyx and I from your search for the Strivvi guards. Though we had to flee the city before finding them, a fact I lamented and violently argued against, I can assure you that this time, we will prevail. Spouting around things that are supposed to be secrets is sure to get Patricia's favour. Quote
Zepher Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Psh, you think Boomingham cares much for secrets? He doesn't seem the sort. Quote

Zepher Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Maybe she'll see past it and accept that a hero who gets the job done is better than most (of the ones she's seen). OR maybe he'll reject her and let Steerpike go. I guess we'll have to see. Quote

OR maybe he'll reject her and let Steerpike go. I guess we'll have to see. Do you really think Boomingham can try out his moves and have time to be rejected or approved before the party starts? We both know that at this point poor Larry will do anything to win Patricia's favour, no matter how misguided that may be. Edited April 25, 2013 by Scubacarrot Quote

Scubacarrot Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Learn from the best, pity that my childhood hero Guts isn't here, but these are the Heroica finest. Ehh? Guts's "reputation" is getting out of hand! I'd love to hear the story of that one. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Thalion let a small jolt of lightning touch the Ambush Leader, "Who hired you? And what for?" "It was a bounty hunter...called..."*fffftz* The Ambush Leader twitches. He blinks in surprise and dies. Thalion looks down at the Ambush Leader. He touches his neck and pulls out a small, wicked-looking dart. "Toxic dart..." Quote
