Dannylonglegs Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Can't argue with that! Now Karie's entire schtick will be "looks like you're not getting better!" Hahaha. Too bad it'll eat up about half her ether each time. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Kintobor Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 For now at least. Clerics can use scrolls, correct? I'm still up in the air over sorcerer or witch, and this may determine which class Karie ends up taking. Quote

Flipz Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 But out of all of them, I think she has the best. Maybe not in terms of tactical functionality, but still. ~Insectoid Aristocrat You could always drop a Scroll of Ice Armor, to round out her arsenal. For now at least. Clerics can use scrolls, correct? I'm still up in the air over sorcerer or witch, and this may determine which class Karie ends up taking. Clerics don't get any more Ether, though--and Witches lose their Gold-earning skills. At the moment, Sorcerer looks like a better path for Karie, at least in my opinion. Quote

I think Karie would make a hilarious witch. ~Insectoid Arisotcrat Quote
Etzel Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 EDIT: Etzel, what a rockin' build! Awesome. I love the mini door within the big door. *looks at Etzel's door, than looks at the one he's working on* Well... crud. Thanks guys! I built that gate quite long ago when I was planning a Duplovia Quest of my own that never came to be. But I still had it built when Legonater was about to start his quest so it was simple to just change the minifigs and take some photos. Duplovia was built by giants so of course a big gate is needed. I feel like I've been dropping allot of SP granting things throughout the quest, and unfortunately, I don't forsee any more ether using baddies, which is why I threw in the Mage in the first place. I agree, as amusing as a Witch with the actual ability to turn people into newts would be, I still can see Karie as a Sorceress easier than a Witch (although, I could easily see both.) ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
The Legonater Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Sandy, Quest 66 is kicking off to an amazing start! Quote
Peppermint_M Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Sword of Improbability - on a roll of 7, your opponent turns into a potted geranium, granting all NPCs a nice cup of tea and a trip to the seaside. Then you die. Unless it's Wednesday, in which case you get a cookie. Sofas too, the turning into. Maybe a whale... Oh, and don't forget the modifier if a towel is on your person. Quote

Etzel Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 So does that mean you're not going through with any more? That's a bit saddening, I was looking for to it! Well, I'm not saying never ever, but not in the nearest future at least. Too busy during the next couple of months. Quote

Zepher Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 The third Guffington quest will be stopping in Duplovia. Along with Dastan, Babeleth, Xu, Etheria, and maybe Vartland, Terra Chima and The Mistlands! Don't know for sure yet, but I'm very excited for it. Quote

Zepher Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 (edited) My longest quest has been three months. That was both Dastan and the Finale Wren. I personally believe that 3 months is as long as a quest should go, and that is how long the final Guffington will probably be. EDIT: The final final quest I host might be a marathon. That is the only one I imagine going over that amount of time. Edited April 26, 2013 by Zepher Quote

Flipz Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Wait, is Boomingham trying to get himself killed?! Calling Nyx a floozy?! I mean, I know he intended it as a clever comeback, but come on, that's just ASKING for trouble. Quote
Kintobor Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 (edited) Since everyone's in the spoiling mood, if things go according to plan, after my next quest, A Secret Under Eubric, I may just send the party for its sequel on the scariest quest to date! Oh, and it'll be somewhat inspired by a certain creepypasta. Let the guessing commence! (And it's not Slender Man!) Edited April 26, 2013 by Kintobor Quote
Zepher Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Friends joke! And hope that they don't get incinerated! Let's see how friendly Nyx thinks we are. Quote
