Dannylonglegs Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Looking forward to this quest, DannyLongLegs! I am too, I think it'll be fun to watch... Wrong QM? Do other QMs prepare posts in Word (such as the opening or battles) beforehand? I just write it out as it is reached. I prepared that summary in word... Actually I've prepared allot in word, but for the most part, I just prepare it right before it's needed. Moonstone would work. Watch Atramor get it. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 I don't use Word, but I do write stuff down. I did it in Text Edit for Quest 4, which was really disorganized. I've used Evernote for Quest 14, Quest 31, to script the Bro'Bric Interlude for Quest 53, and to script concepts for my next two quests. Quote
Scorpiox Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Reservoir Dogs, Joe. (I really need to watch the whole thing sometime, I've seen a few YouTube clips and that's it. ) *looks up on Google* Reservoir Dogs! Yep, that's right. If you can find the time, go for it, Reservoir dogs is definitely worth watching. Literally the only film to make someone being tortured absolutely hilarious. Hmm, I'll have to see how many other references I can fit in... Quote
Endgame Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 (edited) After 6 months of questing, I can't believe you finally have the source of it all down to only 400 HP... End this, 48ers! Edited April 28, 2013 by Endgame Quote
Cutcobra Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Can't wait to see al the other guests Sandy! Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Pfff. Where was that Captain Mumbasa when Haroka attacked and occupied, and I assume murder 2/3's and mind control most of the remains? Quote
Flipz Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Interesting...it seems like we're setting the stage (hehe) for Byblos' Quest with Ambassador Luneth... Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Also, I may have spend too much time on tvtropes, but if someone says they are there for the food and drink, and there's poison involved, they're probably going to die. Quote
Scorpiox Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Quest #66 is so unbelievely atmospheric. I can just imagine the back door party standing in the rain while lightning flashes and footsteps echo in back alleys... Quote
Endgame Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Also, I may have spend too much time on tvtropes, but if someone says they are there for the food and drink, and there's poison involved, they're probably going to die. Deserves it then! Just sat back as foreigners saved his country... Quote
Rumble Strike Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Just checked, the quote from George Clooney in From Dusk Til Dawn is "OK ramblers, let's get rambling." So maybe Tarantino plagarised himself! Quote
Brickington Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Sir Brickington does nothing from the back row. New favorite move right there! 6/6 chance of doing nothing! Quote
Scorpiox Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Just checked, the quote from George Clooney in From Dusk Til Dawn is "OK ramblers, let's get rambling." So maybe Tarantino plagarised himself! I hadn't heard of that. But yeah, it's probably a Tarantino throwback, his films are full of them. Quote
Masked Builder Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 So weapons that have gems imbued in them do not damage Ethereal enemies? Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 So weapons that have gems imbued in them do not damage Ethereal enemies? Yeah. Quote
Endgame Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Well folks, with that, I have officially uploaded the final photo for 48. This behemoth of a quest is just about over. Quote
CMP Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 The party makes their way down to the cellar where they are promptly greeted by an elf and a human. "Haha, so they finally sent down a rescue party." "It's only been a few hours, hardly worth it." Never know when or where those two idiots are gonna show up again. Quote
The Legonater Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Never know when or where those two idiots are gonna show up again. I don't even make that connection at first. Those have got to be two of my favorite NPCs in the game. I laughed so hard when they showed up again for the awards. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Paladins - Sailors - Award-Hosts - Furnace-Repairmen? What's next? Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Paladins - Sailors - Award-Hosts - Furnace-Repairmen? What's next? I was aiming for plumbers but it didn't quite fit the story. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 I was aiming for plumbers but it didn't quite fit the story. I love it when people reuse my NPC's. Quote
Endgame Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 I was aiming for plumbers but it didn't quite fit the story. Turtle stompers or shroom abusers next, then. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Hey, I think I actually have the pieces to make Jacob and Christian, assuming they're always in a different outfit. Maybe I should give them small roles in my next quest. Quote
Zepher Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 (edited) I think I can only do one of them, and I'd hate to see them separated. Great puzzle, by the way, WBD. I think the Henrys were out of Game World, Chromeknight. Edited April 28, 2013 by Zepher Quote
