Endgame Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Unfortunately, I don't think LDD has their prints... And with that, 48ers... you have defeated my True Final Boss. Now just sit back, RP through the ending, and watch the credits roll. Great hosting for you all. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Wow. We did it! And then he resurrects and gets another 2000 Health. Quote
Endgame Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 No, I'm done. Running boss battles that big consecutively takes its tolls on you. Expect Stealer 2 to atleast start out a bit more dmoestic. Quote
Shoker86 Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Endgame don't start Stealer 2 without me , if you can Quote
Chromeknight Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 I think I can only do one of them, and I'd hate to see them separated. Great puzzle, by the way, WBD. I think the Henrys were out of Game World, Chromeknight. Meh, it's hard to tell. The presenters were characters, rather than figs credited as playing the characters, and at least half the awards were given to characters rather than players playing those characters. But given how many times the the fourth wall is abused around her, I figured it didn't matter. Hey, even the latest OotS makes a fourth wall joke. Quote

Zepher Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 We intended to have them out of the world. That of course doesn't have to be the case! I just was telling you what our intention was. Quote
Flipz Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 In our current post-modern era, authorial intent has been usurped as a valid means of dramatic criti-*slaps self* Sorry about that. Was trying to see if the megablocks we're taught in college has any relevancy whatsoever. It doesn't. In all seriousness, we can have a debate on the validity (or lack thereof) of "authorial intent", but I feel it has somewhat more weight here than it might in other forms of art, possibly owing to the fact that we can literally ask the author their intent. Endgame don't start Stealer 2 without me , if you can I've accepted the sad truth that Sandy's Byblos, Endgame's Progg 0, and Pie's next outing will all likely take place at the same time, even though I want to go on all of them. Endgame Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Endgame don't start Stealer 2 without me , if you can I'm taking a bit of a break after 48, so I'll see how many people I can hook into Stealer 2. Also, I'll probably see what I can do in terms of scheduling for both quests. Quote
Cutcobra Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 (edited) I noticed one of quest #67 tags is "DOOM". Edited April 29, 2013 by Eric Su Quote
Zepher Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 I actually advise taking a break from hosting, Endgame. It will allow you to catch your breath, and to further focus on Sorrow. I know you love hosting, and Sorrow certainly is already a character, but taking a break will probably make your next quests even better. You need time to recover and synthesize the information you've learned hosting quests so far. I purposely took a break after the Wren quests to clear my heads and really review what worked and what didn't. Quote

I purposely took a break after the Wren quests to clear my heads and really review what worked and what didn't. Yeah, I've loved hosting 48... but it is pretty draining and time consuming. Definitely taking a bit of a break to digest what I've learned from 48 and apply it to the rest of the quests, as well as whatever feedback I get on the QM lounge upon 48's conclusion. Summer break is rolling around the corner (8 weeks), and although I probably will be back into hosting by then, my schedule will be incredibly flexible. Quote

Endgame Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Actually, an item that makes you fall asleep but also restores health is a fine idea. Quote
JimBee Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Actually, an item that makes you fall asleep but also restores health is a fine idea. Essentially the move Rest in the Pokemon games. But then you get into the overpowered Sleep Talk and Dream Eater moves... Quote
Endgame Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Essentially the move Rest in the Pokemon games. Ohh, yes, I remember that move quite fondly. Every legendary just loved spamming it. But I could see similar items working (Toxic smelling salts, dizzy nostrums) Quote
