Dannylonglegs Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 (edited) Ohh, yes, I remember that move quite fondly. Every legendary just loved spamming it. But I could see similar items working (Toxic smelling salts, dizzy nostrums) According to Sandy's Quest, "Family Secrets" (or something), that's how drugs work in this universe. Dangit! PsyKater Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Any tips on last-minute buys for the Fields? What gem could be useful? Or rather a bunch of consumables? Quote

CorneliusMurdock Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I was aiming for plumbers but it didn't quite fit the story. I think plumbing and heating is sometimes handled by the same company. It's all pipes. I'm just glad Cronk gets to meet up with them again. Quote
Brickington Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 How does one become a town watch private? I would like to know. Quote
JimBee Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 (For the record, PsyKater, I was being sassy, and you're welcome to purchase anything from the marketplace before I start the battle. It really is no big deal.) Quote
The Legonater Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 How does one become a town watch private? I would like to know. I'm pretty sure that was just a character decision by Flipz, though technically you could go Infilitraitor if you get on the right quests. Quote
Flipz Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I'm pretty sure that was just a character decision by Flipz, though technically you could go Infilitraitor if you get on the right quests. That is indeed correct. I asked Sandy if it would be all right, and he gave me the all-clear. I'm glad I did, it's definitely been the right choice for Arthur's development. Quote

So I could call myself Town Watch Private if I wanted to or is there anything that is required to do? By what you told me I think I can just do it. Edit: Just got ninja'd by Flipz, thanks for the advice! Edited April 29, 2013 by Brickington Quote

It's going to be interesting when Arthur and Dyric wind up in the hall together. It'll be doubly interesting if Alexis is there too. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 No, I'm done. Running boss battles that big consecutively takes its tolls on you. Expect Stealer 2 to atleast start out a bit more dmoestic. No, you should start Stealer 2 with the big battle. Like The Empire Strikes Back. Scare the players and mix up the conventional order of battles. Can I use a bedroll in the middle of battle? Ultimately I think it's up to the QM to decide when you can use a Bedroll, but I'm also pretty sure that the description states that you can use it in a "safe place". The middle of battle is not a safe place. Any tips on last-minute buys for the Fields? What gem could be useful? Or rather a bunch of consumables? As long as you have a good mix of gems, you should be okay. Buffing consumables are helpful for the more difficult areas and restorative consumables are always a good idea, but for the most part you can pick up a lot of what you need in the easier areas. Just remember that brute force can usually go a long way in the Fields; sometimes you just need to buff the big Damage-dealer and go for it. (Although on that note, Smoke Bombs are always a good thing to have just in case.) I shall return it to you by quest's end (for realz). Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 (edited) Question. If Amorith were to go Mystic Knight or Battle Mage, how would his Dual-Hit Staffs effect Spellspin or Spellblade? Objectively, with his new-found SP and Dual-Hit Staffs, I think one of those two classes would make him pretty powerful. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited April 29, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
