See, but that's exactly the sort of thing that's impossible to keep quiet. Actions have consequences, and one of those consequences is that they eventually become known. The more dramatic the action, the faster it becomes known, and the harder it becomes to keep secret. Rumors are everywhere (you've heard of tabloids, right? ), it's just a matter of knowing which ones are true. Arthur's just better than most at piecing together all the information to find the truth.

It goes both ways, though. I assume everyone knows about Arthur's sins, after all, whether or not he actually tells them his side of the story.

Now, I admit I went too far with it in 38. But I prefer to play fast and loose with "what Arthur knows", and I err on the side of knowing unless it's specifically more interesting for him not to know. And keep in mind, he's generally not just spitting out all the info just for the sake of it, most of the time it's just informing his opinions and shaping his reactions to present events.

I have sent the pitch for the second Russel Quest to Sandy. It will (hopefully) be posted tomorrow, with sign-ups ending mid-May. It will involve very difficult battles and a quite a few puzzles. If people are interested in strategizing, I hope to see you there.

And Sandy, just because I haven't said it yet: I love Mumbassa. Forget the other directives, my new goal of this quest is to absolutely keep him alive. He's also a great character design. :wub:

Can you promise loot appropriate for the difficulty of battles?

I maintain that 53 had more than enough loot. Nearly everyone got a unique powerful item at some point - there shouldn't be more than one per person per quest, and even then, maybe not EVERYONE should get one per quest.

I should have dropped a lot more gold though. This quest will have a lot more gold.

Brickington's right, I dont wish him to get KO'ed. Since he didn't buy any potions, and the rest of us are in short supply of them as well, I figured that staying back would be the easiest way for him to stay alive. That's all...

You're welcome to sign-up for the Russel quest. I've decided that if Guffy 2 isn't quite ready to go, I'm going to go on that one. I know we just quested together but Docken's in the hall, maybe he'll sign up for it, and Ellaria, Atramor, and Guts will be returning soon.

I would love to go on Guffy 2, when Quest 63 ends, that´s what I´m going to wait on. I think a reunion of Quest 39 would be awesome, we (and until the last battle, I mean Hybros and Docken) kicked some major buttocks.

We did! But apparently Guffy 2 is less puzzle-oriented. I would love to quest with Guts and Docken again, but I'm hoping to go on this Russel quest as well, just to get out of the Hall. I guess I'll see how long until Guffy 2.

So is Umbra Shadeaux, but she's also still in Dastan. My quest takes place chronologically before Sandy's, so it's logically feasible.

Frankly, with how convoluted the passage of time is in Heroica, anything is logically feasible.

Suddenly I want to see a time-travel quest.
