Zepher Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 She always makes her way back, never fear. Unless Thothwick makes it an impossible environment for her. Quote
Endgame Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Don't go blaming yourself! I'm having a wonderful time! "Oh, poor Karie Quinn, you must be so confused. Kill him for Mr. A, darling." Although I must give a similar apology to all of my questees - you've missed almost 20 quests, but luckily you'll be out of my ~nefarious~ clutches very soon. Quote
Kintobor Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 (edited) "Oh, poor Karie Quinn, you must be so confused. Kill him for Mr. A, darling." Oh Endgame, you sly fiend! Well, all I need to do for my next quest is map the sewer area out and take pictures. I think you guys will like it! Edited April 30, 2013 by Kintobor Quote
Endgame Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 (edited) Oh, if only some of these whispers could be visible... Also, if you have a certain monarch from the same game you referenced in your quest, I will be Favorite game of all time, though that final boss... Edited April 30, 2013 by Endgame Quote

Palathadric Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 More quests trickle in. Yeah, they're coming in a bit slowly at present, aren't they? Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Yeah, they're coming in a bit slowly at present, aren't they? Ahahahaha! I was thinking the same thing when I read that. So many funny typos today! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Palathadric Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 I love the Ziegfried brothers (they are brothers, right?). They have to be two of my favourite NPCs, And do either of you know anything about the man with the goofy hat? Quote
Kintobor Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 (edited) Don't worry, there will be a boat load of Paper Mario, the Thousand Year Door references throughout the arc, especially in this one. I also stuffed a reference or two to Harry Potter, as well as a rather nifty Sonic the Hedgehog shout out. Can't wait! Edited April 30, 2013 by Kintobor Quote
Zepher Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 It makes me so giddy to make fun of my own characters with my characters. I purposely avoid interaction when I can, but sometimes it just doesn't make sense. To date, Boomingham has made of Wren every time anyone has mentioned her and Chaos to him, Boomingham and Everyman both ridiculed each other's names, and now Boomers and Guffy get to meet. I don't know why I personally find it so funny, but I sure as hell do. Quote
Palathadric Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Support Beam: WP:5 Can be used as melee or a throwing weapon. Deals Asleep to enemies it hits. Suitable for everyone. Deals "Asleep" and is suitable for anyone? That Support Beam is pretty powerful. Brickington, not learning from Alexander's mistake, manages to dig through the stone as well. He falls through the gap, and hits the ground hard. He is KO'd for the moment. Nice one, Legonater. Now you're learning how to do it right. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 (edited) Love it that Guffy mentioned Guts, nice one Zepher/Sandy! As for meeting your own characters. I'm kind of interested what would happen if Guts would meet Patricia as played by Sandy, but that could just be an excuse to go on another of Sandy's quests. If excuses were needed, that was. Palathadric Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 ~Elphaba's Magic Wagon has left the Marketplace!~ Sigh! Missed her again. I actually didn't even meet her the first time, as I recall. I had Eric (Erik?) buy the stuff for me. I wonder how I'd do it if Pretzel ever does encounter the witch. No way would he actually buy from her. Quote
swils Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Woah woah woah. Elphaba's already left? By my watch, it's still the 30th of April (Granted, there's different timezones to account for). I've been swamped with school work and just this morning took a pre-finals week exam, turned in two final lab reports... etc. I was hoping to come back and sort out my shopping list before she took off. Is there any chance that Thormy could chase down Elphaba before she makes it too far out of the city limits? Quote

Zepher Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Love it that Guffy mentioned Guts, nice one Zepher/Sandy! It's almost as if I read/pay attention to those quests I host. You said something good, you can be damn sure my characters will remember it (for the most part). Thothwick is another character who said something very important that will shape one of my future quests... but I don't know if he remembers it. Quote

I remember convincing Guffington by dancing and by dancing alone. Any words that were said are not relevant. Would be more appropiate if he said something like: "I've been meaning to try out those kick-megablocks moves Mr. Holla showed me, to the dancefloor, U'or!" Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 You know, if Elphaba's a couple days away from leaving (and she always announces how long she'll stay), you could just ask someone else to pick up the item for you just in case... I think most of us would be happy to do so without charging anything extra. (Don't ask Jeb though. ) Quote
