JimBee Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I think an exception was made for the Sword of Decay, allowing Mages to wield it, because it was owned by Atticus Zeigfried. JimB changed it to make it fit into one of the normal weapon categories. Correct. Bricksandparts never updated it, but the ruling that the Sword of Decay is a greatsword stands. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Ooc: Oh, I forgot. Darn, I could've been the first in history to fell the mighty Tank Docken! I believe someone already holds that title. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I believe someone already holds that title. Yeah, Docken's Arena record is 0-1. (I think? I get the feeling that I might have fought someone else - swils, maybe - but I don't remember for sure.) Quote
Flipz Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 If it was usable only by Barbarians and Rogues, it wouldn't've been suitable for any Expert Classes since it doesn't fit into a normal weapon category. I find it easier that way, it'd get confusing without them. Like I said, I like it most of the time, but occasionally it gets in the way. I like the idea of a rare heirloom sword that's magically enchanted so that mages can wield it. I mean, I guess you could make a wand that's called a sword and looks like a sword, but that would look kind of silly in the stats. Quote

I like the idea of a rare heirloom sword that's magically enchanted so that mages can wield it. Not a complete solution, but in that case I would just alter the sword's history to be used by Battle Mages instead of Mages, so it could be classified as a Greatsword. (Mystic Knight and Sorcerer are the other Mage classes which could use a sword, which also works, or you could just make the 'sword' a large dagger.)And also, stats and mechanics over RPing item history and/or RPing with an item. Flipz Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 And also, stats and mechanics over RPing item history and/or RPing with an item. The Loot: 1x Adamantine Shield of the Thespian: SP:30, SP decreases by 5 every time the bearer makes fun of roleplaying in- or out-of-character. Suitable for Knights, Dragoons, Skirmishers, and Regulators Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 It's actually quite miraculous that you didn't kill all the dock workers this round. My thoughts on this battle just went from "Almost unwinnable" to "This is way too easy." I know you guys all took drugs, but even without them, I think you probably would be in a similar position. If I were to revise the battle, I'd probably give the dock workers 70 health, and only add 1 round to the timer. Ah well. I did want you to get on the ship after-all. I'm simply surprised it's going to be so easy. But, keep in mind, just because you get on the ship doesn't mean you're going to catch her. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Flipz Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 (edited) I just realized Sandy's savviness with the loot--he made the SP:6 artifact headwear so no one would have motivation to sell it to you, since you prefer your Dread Hat. Edited May 5, 2013 by Flipz Quote

Endgame Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Aaaaaaaaand there is the behemoth, plopping down right in Heroica Hall. But hey, sidecharacters got to shine! Yay! Quote
JimBee Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I just have to say I am thoroughly confused on this whole bomb thing in the Unlimited Quest. WBD, you said that Alexis "is still throwing a lightning bomb". What do you mean by that? In the corrected first round I did have her throw a Lightning Bomb. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Endgame. I'm sorry but Tl;Dr (too long didn't read) Quote

Endgame Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 The wall of text you see before you is, in fact, a group effort. Flipz did a great job on this one too, and I'm glad I got to feature a few of his NPCs and actually impact them, as well as develop my own. Quote

I found it interesting, although, I'll be honest, I didn't know who Roni was until just now, and I'm still not quite sure I get it. I tend to not read the Hall when I'm not there. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

CMP Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 . I tend to not read the Hall when I'm not there. Beats me why anyone posts in it when they're not there. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Riht's manor storeroom? Girl who fried Eidolon? Featured in epilogue? Oh, no, I knew that, but I didn't know who she was aside from a magic 3 year old who just teleported randomly into a warzone. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Endgame Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Reasoning behind it being in the hall: It is an important roleplay event, so I figured it;'d be better preserved in the hall then one of the quests (both of which would eventually fall off the 1st/2nd/3rd page eventually) Also, I vowed never to post in 48 again. Scorpiox Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Endgame. I'm sorry but Tl;Dr (too long didn't read) I'm afraid this is the same with me also. It's not that I don't care, or that it isn't well written but... I barely know who half of the NPCs are or what they're talking about most of the time. To be honest, I rarely read through huge internal soliloquies unless they're important to me, my character or universe that interests me. Quote

The title of Endgame and my 16-page-long PM chain is "Punii chat", and it started with Endgame and I talking about Punii chatting with Roni. Quote
CMP Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I think the Jester's Hat only works on targeted enemies. Quote
