JimBee Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Personally, I thought the "gear" was an actual cog-like object, since it came from a mechanical spider. I had assumed it was throwable, but maybe Masked didn't want to just hand out a strong throwing weapon, hence the WP: 2. It can always be upgraded, too. I'm all for that kind of loot giveaway, where the QM doesn't just hand you good items/rewards on a silver platter all of the time. Quote
legobodgers Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 K-nut, shouldn't Althior's power be 19 now because he is level 14 and he has a WP of 5? Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Masked Builder, I am curious as to the nature of the Gear from your quest, is it supposed to be a retrievable ranged weapon or what exactly? Yeah it's a throwing weapon. Wait, that was the end of Quest 9? Sorry, it just didn't seem like a conclusion to me. What part didn't you like? OOC: When Grogan gives tha party its reward, the stats list Arasmyth's Gold as 273. When I got my Water Bomb, it listed my Gold as 53. Since I had 53 gold before we got the reward, I'm assuming 273 Gold is the correct figure, but please correct me if I'm wrong, Masked Builder. Whoops! Technical error on my part. Quote
Tanma Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 (edited) Atramor looks up, and grumbles, a bit, as the annoyoing moustached mage sits nearby. McCafferey, curious, flutters over to Finnigan. "YOU SPELLED MY NAME WRONG!!!!! How hard is it for people to spell around here?" By Mata-Nui, Athior's foil can read our stage directions. Edited November 24, 2011 by Tanma Quote
Peppermint_M Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 We all knew the only way Quest 12 would end! Be honest now, if we had struck a deal, something would happen to nudge someone to level 15 right? Quote
Jebediahs Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Hah, actually no. You'd have been stuck at 14.5. The ant battle was your nudge. Antia was originally supposed to just die sadly from taking too many scorpion stings after the mother scorpion fight. Quote
Sandy Posted November 24, 2011 Author Posted November 24, 2011 My two quests are now up! Sorry for the delay, but I'll promise both of the quests will be well worth the wait. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 (edited) I just wanted to make sure i am understanding this right. In quest 16, the mast has a 50% chance of falling on one of us and knocking that player out, but since I rolled sentinel, that shouldn't effect whoever it falls on right? Because knocking out a hero means putting the health to 0, but sentinel stops enemies from hurting party members. Edited November 24, 2011 by soccerkid6 Quote

Because knocking out a hero means putting the health to 0, but sentinel stops enemies from hurting party members. The sentinel protects the allies from physical damage during a round, but unfortunately (for you ) the mast falls after the round is over. So there is still a 50% chance that the mast will hit someone if Special Damage is rolled. Quote

Rumble Strike Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Althior... walks up to the pub and sees his former Party Leader, Tarn Valco sitting among the Heroes. "Tarn!" He calls as he sits by his friend. It must be a lookalike, after Quest#11 ended Tarn went back home to meditate with his mentor Quote
UsernameMDM Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Quick gem fusion question: my long sword has wind property, and I have an emerald I want to fuse with it. If I do, what would my sword be strong against and what would it be ineffective against? Also, if my WP is 8 and my total power is 19, do I do 11 damage to a target resistant to wind or no damage at all? Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 This is all your fault Cronk Quests great so far Etzel and your quests look great too Sandy Well at least no one will miss gaining a level if it hits them Quote

Zepher Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 With all these quests going on I don't know if I'm even going to have enough players for my quest. Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 What a battle Jeb, what a battle. Quote

Rumble Strike Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 That is a hell of an enemy lineup. At least the party were able to prepare for it. I await the battle! Should redefine the word epic I was hopeful of a little more participation in my quest at the moment. The storyline is ticking along but the party posts have become a bit sparse. I hope it's just temporary and that everyone is still enjoying it. Please, if anyone has any comments or constructive criticism so far, I'd love to hear them. Quote

Jebediahs Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 I was hopeful of a little more participation in my quest at the moment. It's a holiday week(end) for the USA members of your team so that might be what's tying them up...unless you also see them posting in a mafia game then idk where they are. :-X Quote
Bioniclover Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Kadabra and I are staying at our older sister's house in Modesto, we've just got the iPad for Internet access, and we're supposed to be doing all that "family" stuff for Thanksgiving with the niece and nephew. Ironically, it's Thanksgiving day and I'm able to actually be on the iPad... Kadabra's been on more often, tho, as I'm "only" 18 and therefore expected to play with the kids. Kadabra's and my LEGO enjoyment is frowned upon by our sister, but it's tolerated by her because the kids like playing with the stuff we bring. The boy's getting started on DUPLO, and the (older) niece is quite good with Lego bricks. She's working on an MoC with Kadabra right now. (hence me getting the iPad ) But I can't believe that woman is actually related to us. She calls LEGO "childish"! Forums and RPGs "nerdy" and "pointless"! The two of us "socially inept"! But after the weekend I'll be free 'till Christmas, so no worries, Rumble. Quote

But I don't want to just decide stuff for the party though. I think it's coming up on the holiday weekend in the states, so people are going to be a bit more sporadic in posting. I'm having fun tweaking Sorrow too. And trying to walk the line between confidence and arrogance. Looking forward to the weird and spooky mine! Quote
