UsernameMDM Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Effective against Flying and Aquatic, Non Effective against Plants and Mechanic monsters. So basically it cancels out effectiveness/ineffectiveness and does regular damage to those previous ineffective attacks? Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 I am having fun in your quest, Rumble, I like the idea of a sleepy mine town being struck by mysterious evil magic! Also, it is fun for me playing Guts as a grumpy badass (think Clint Eastwood without morals ). Quote
K-Nut Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 So basically it cancels out effectiveness/ineffectiveness and does regular damage to those previous ineffective attacks? Well, the previous effectiveness against Vermin is neutralized, as is the Rock Damage from Emerald, neutralizing that. So the only thing it doesn't damage at all is Plants and Mechanic Monsters. Rumble Strike Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Thanks for the support you lovely Quest#13 peeps. I had forgotten it was Thanksgiving in the US. I am glad people are enjoying playing and I do like to see some characters develop as we go along. For me, the Quest is just a backdrop for people to establish their characters. Quote
Zepher Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 My quest should go up today, Sandy. Just a reminder. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Etzel, the sail on your ship is amazing! That must have taken some time. I am really looking forward to seeing all the things you build for the quest. To all those in Quest 12, Good luck and I hope you win, I want to see those advanced classes Quote
Zepher Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 (edited) I decided to do my own little stats project, as they seems relatively popular. I was interested in how the Houses were doing, since Sandy has said that neither should seem fully good or evil. # of Quests Posted Other Party: 4 (1, 7, 8, 16) Hinckwells: 3 (2, 5, 9) Ziegfrieds: 3 (3, 13, 14) Shadeaux: 1 (4) Town Watch: 1 (6) Academy of Enlightenment: 1 (10) Guild of Invision: 1 (11) Ji Pei: 1 (12) Bonaparte: 1 (15) # of Quests Involved In Hinckwells: 4 (2, 4, 5, 9) Shadeaux: 2 (2, 4) Ziegfrieds: 3 (3, 13, 14) Town Watch: 1 (6) Wolfgang: 1 (6) Academy of Enlightenment: 1 (10) Guild of Invision: 1 (11) Ji Pei: 1 (12, 16) Bonaparte: 1 (15, 16) # of Quests Portrayed as Villains In Shadeaux: 1 (4) Academy of Enlightenment: 1 (10) P.S. Sandy Posted November 26, 2011 Author Posted November 26, 2011 My quest should go up today, Sandy. Just a reminder. Thanks for the reminder, it's up now. And thanks for the stats as well, they're quite interesting. I think after these current quests of mine are done, I'll start another Town Watch quest. Quote
K-Nut Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Scorpiox, with all your Super Haldor stuff, I'm gonna love how you dump Ameli. Quote
Jebediahs Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 What a first round Jeb! Yeah, I'm not happy. You guys did well. So uninteresting. ( ) Quote
K-Nut Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Yeah, I'm not happy. You guys did well. So uninteresting. ( ) At least none of them had loaded dies. Quote
posades Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I think I know the answer but I just wanted to check -- you don't lose any gold if you get knocked out, right? Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Wow Sandy, that game is so simple yet so perfect. Wish I was on that quest! (Nothing against you Jeb. ) Quote
Sandy Posted November 26, 2011 Author Posted November 26, 2011 Wow Sandy, that game is so simple yet so perfect. Sorry to say I did not invent it myself, just tweaked it to fit the game world. Here's the original game: Crown and Anchor Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Sorry to say I did not invent it myself, just tweaked it to fit the game world. Here's the original game: Crown and Anchor Oh yeah I know. It just works really well. Quote
Dharkan Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Oh hey everyone, before I ask what I'm going to ask I must admit that I'm really amazed how you guys came up with idea of something like that. =) Anyway, my question is, I checked the 3 available quests on the board and none of them is low level, what I am suppose to do is waiting, right? Quote
Zepher Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 You can throw in your name! I wouldn't mind taking a really strong character who is a low level! If you impress me with your character and story telling, I'd happily at least consider you. Can't speak for the others of course. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 My Quest will allow a smart player to be effective, regardless of level, so there shouldn't be a problem if you get into that one. Quote
JimBee Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Yup, just sign up for all of the quests you can. Even if you don't get picked, it never hurts to try. And you'll get into one eventually, as long as you're active. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Anyone made it to lvl 15 yet?! Sandy - will there be any incentive to be a true class at lvl 15+ vs a hybrid class? Bonus power, stats, etc? Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Anyone made it to lvl 15 yet?! Nope but Tensi and I are close! Quote
Jebediahs Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Oh hey everyone, before I ask what I'm going to ask I must admit that I'm really amazed how you guys came up with idea of something like that. =) Anyway, my question is, I checked the 3 available quests on the board and none of them is low level, what I am suppose to do is waiting, right? Interact with other characters in the Heroica Hall topic. You might get into a quest quickly and you might not. Took 6 quests before I got into one but I know someone who it took 10. :-X Quote
Rumble Strike Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Good fightback by the Orcs! Intriguing stuff, very enjoyable to read. Jebs you have a great way of detailing the battle. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Noooooo! Both Level 14.5s just got Knocked Out! Someone go revive them so we can see Advanced Classes. Quote
