I also agree that it is possible and nearly always better to have a strong female character in a role other than simply the hugely clichéd 'badarse fighting girl' that seems all to prevelant in media. Sometimes I get tired of a female main character that is only really there for love interest, the 'tough lass' who exists solely for male attention.

I agree wholeheartedly. While strictly speaking Fleur did fight, she was intended to be a non-action Big-Bad, and was only able to fight due to her buffs.

So I wrote another short story. This one is a little different, and a lot longer. It is divided into parts so it has some breaks, but its word count is still (clears throat) over nine thousand!

Also, that Arrow Finale. Darn it Tommy, I totally pegged you for season two villain. I thought this was your start of darkness! Now I have no clue what will happen next on "murder-batman with arrows."

I would contribute to the Tv tropes page, but I don't think I am skilled enough.

OOC: A couple of mistakes... Benji's miss would deal 60 damage since the +3 is for power not weapon power.

I'm fairly certain that Power Bonus also applies to Aim. The difference between +Power and +WP is that +Power would be applied after the *2 or *3 in Critical Hits/Extra Critical Hits.

I wasn't sure about that so I went with the lower damage option. Also Benji said 60 damage earlier in the quest and I figured he knew what he was talking about.

No, "Aim" is purely WP-based damage, like the description says. The Power Bonus gained elsewhere (artifacts, consumables, etc.) are not counted (unless the artifact clearly specifies the bonus as WP, like the Quivers do).

I am starting to get really annoyed with the Hall thread. People think that they can have discussions and interactions wherever they want outside of the hall, but still spam up the thread with out-of-the-hall posts. Guts' ship is not in the hall. Don't post it there. Johon's stables/house are not in the hall. Leave it out. The thread is becoming a confusing mess. I think we need to get stricter with whats happening in the thread, IMHO its really gotten out of hand.

I kind of agree with you, more so on Johon's house than with Gut's ship because the latter was given to him by Sandy in a quest, so he should get to roleplay being on it. But where else would you put such posts? It's not as if everyone spends all their time between quests at the Marketplace, in the Arena, at the Library, or in the Hall. When the game first started, Sandy did say that the heroes didn't stay at the Hall; they all had houses or rooms rented somewhere in Eubric to stay at between quests.

I'd suggest that it be handled via PM. Anything outside of the Hall is, arguably, happening unbeknownst to those within the Hall, so why should they be hearing about it? If you want people to see it/experience it/be part of the roleplay, invite them out to your [Location] and then host them via PM. You can announce that you're going in the topic, then perhaps someone could RP 'sneaking along behind' and PM you if they could listen in/take part in the PM-RP. I do feel as though it is currently adding to the clutter, though.

I disagree, for the simple fact that aside from sign-ups, the Hall has no purpose outside of roleplaying. The Hall would be terribly boring without it.
