OK, wait a second. Then he pulls out a piece of paper and reads it. It looks like I am supposed to give you this "Darker Etheral Deck (WP:7; throwing weapon)". Then trades the weapon for the mushroom.

"Pardon - i' Ah might have 'at back..." The Munchkin reached out for the handful of playing cards.

"Well, after careful consideration, no, I am not giving this back to you. Do you want an explanation? Or do you innately understand that I'm doing this because of this immature and childish display you are putting on? And frankly that obnoxious accent isn't doing you any favors either."

"Display? Display?!?

And zere are rules here, zat go-vern zis Hall, an' 'er Heros!"

The Munchkin angrily snatched the cards back, and stomped over to some other corner of ze...the bar, not forgetting one last retort.

"An' zis accent is no' obnoxious. It is a piece of brilliant zubterfuge and vo-cal mastery!"

"No, it is an obviously fake parcel of racial stereotyping you immature little twit. And yes, I am well aware of the rules, even if you are not. Well I shall not stoop to your level by continuing to talk to you any longer, good bye."

And with that remark, Throlar went off to another part of the building.

I hand the bought items over.

"It's actually 98 gold if you don't mind."

Did you get any the items I ask for yet. (3 Remedies & a Shrunken) I will just go with my original order, and I am sorry for being a www...whatever.

Warlen intercepted Germ on the way out.

"Would you be interested in selling your scroll?"

MMM Not at this time, maybe later.

-Sanctified Rito Longsword (WP: 4, Hits doubled against flying enemies, longsword)

-Throwing Knife (WP: 3, throwing weapon)

Bluntly saying 15 Gold for the Throwing Knife. Take it or leave it. Edited by samuraiturtle

Bluntly saying 15 Gold for the Throwing Knife. Take it or leave it.

Annienal takes one look at Germ and quickly tosses him the Throwing Knife.

"Um, yeah, sure, deal."

Curious about all the dealing the Monk has been doing he asks.

Do the discounts you are able to obtain pertain to weapons upgrades as well?

"Ze date, she extended? 'Hen zere zis witch running a-roond?" The...Munchkin shook his head.

"Ah, well. Time to organize, to structure."

He whipped out a piece of paper, stuck it firmly onto the board, and wrote on it in large, flowing letters.

An Aduration to All Heroes with a Truly Heroic Mind, with a Particular Focus on Those Who Agree that Mindflaying Witches Should Be Killed

There are dark things stirring in the dark depths of Fenario - foul things are afoot. A witch works her spells, deep beneath the surface of the earth. Friends, brothers, sisters, and...beings of a non-confirmed and or in flux gender, we are heroes! Will we let another group go to her, like the last ones sent to kill her, and let her and her dark magics live on, to wreak even more havoc upon our world? Will you tell your bastards children, no, I did nothing to stop the Witch?

I say, no! Let us form a company, of heroes to slay the witch! Let us make sure that this threat is once and forever more ended! Sign up one, sign up all!

Signed,

Lind Whisperer, Gray Foxer, Bear-Struggler, and Dispatcher of Star-Borne

Thormanil grumbles. Every day this hunt was delayed was a day in Baba's favor. Though he doubted half the "heroes" on this list knew what they were in for; what they were truly hunting. The witch was an abomination, heartless and as self-serving as they came. Bluto... He would, if nothing else, have his revenge.

Grimwald hesitates before answering Monk Pretzel's question.

"I... honestly don't know what I'd have done. All the same though, I'm sure one of the others would have made sure he was dead he if he wasn't."

He then signs up for Quests #135 and #138 as well as #137.

Tosses the 15 Gold to her and takes the Throwing Knife.

Fine. Gives him the 68 Gold. If you do not mind I am in kind of a hurry.

I look at the questboard and the very large, very bold announcement now written on it.

"You hit the nail on the head with the bastard child part, Lind. But I'm less inclined to believe anything you see with that asinine "disguise" on. I'm afraid if you want to pull off a rally cry as an elf, you'd first have to drop the butchered Charisan accent."

196.

Vindsval pulls out his coin purse and methodically counts out 196 gold coins. For some reason he didn't have a pouch with that amount in it already, how very strange. He hands the coins and his Bifrost Blades to Monk Pretzel.

Many Thanks Master Monk. If there is anything I can do to help you in the future, you have but to ask.

I place Vindsval's knives on the table, and hurry away, before suddenly realizing...

Did I just do business for a demon and an oversized greenskin?

Grimwald hesitates before answering Monk Pretzel's question.

"He was alive. That's the problem."

"You there! Master Monk! Are you going to just wait around and hope you're selected for the quest, not caring about the morals of your team-mates? That's what the lawful good heroes on the last quest did - and look what happened! The Witch is still alive! Because the other heroes over-ruled the good heroes, and let her live!

Are you going to sit back, and let that happen a second time?"

"Shut up."

As you may have gathered, Throlar was back, sadly.

"The Monk does not need your inane and cliche blather, nothing you say or do will actually have any effect on who goes or stays. So please be quiet. I might have business with this man myself."

Addressing himself to the monk he said; "Would you be master Pretzel by any chance?"

"I believe the Monk is quite capable of speaking for himself, sir. And cliche? That is your assault upon my efforts towards a better future? We are supposed to let whoever and their dog go off on this quest, simply because creating a group to combat this evil would be cliche? Shame, sir!

You were on that quest! You yourself saw the "heroes for hire" cheerfully turn traitor for a few extra gold! You were one of the ones that tried to say no, and were overruled! You should be the one most loudly campaigning for this group, not I!"
