Flipz Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 "You are still buying those Bright Polishes, aren't you? I have a proposal to make: "What if I were to give you 1000 gold, the Bright Polish, and a Level-Up Mushroom (whatever that means)for your remaining Scrolls, that Lens you had, the Duke's Armour, and the Haling Stuff I've been pestering you about since...well...forever. "I mean, you can't use the Healing Staff as a Dragoon anyway, can you?" "No I can't," Arthur says with a smile. "If it were anyone else, I might hesitate, but you've been a faithful companion in the time we've known each other. It's a deal." OOC: I'll go ahead and wait to update my stats until you've had time to update yours, just so it's easier for you to do a copy-paste. A fair trade indeed. Vindsval hands the Sapphire to the Arthur. and takes the Scroll of Poisoning in Return. He then Pats Verkenner, his Broomstick, and looks at the Weatherfax broom. I would certainly covet that piece. It would be an investment in the future, and I fear it is beyond my means, but what would take for the broom and book? Nerwen hands Arthur the requested sum. She idly leafs through the book that he had laid out, What would this be worth? "The broom and book together are worth 1,000 gold, or 500 gold apiece," he says, thinking back to the previous prices for such things he had seen from traveling traders. "Though I should warn you that the former is only usable by those who also have the latter." OOC: Word of Sandy is that the Weatherfax Broom is only suitable to Weather Mages, just FYI. "Unless any other heroes are interested in the Stag Antlers-" The Munchkin paused a moment, to see if anyone would speak up. "How much would they, Silvania's Cowl, the Duke's Coat-of-Arms, and the Cloak of Deception individually cost?" "The Stag Antlers...I can actually use them while you can't, so it'd take 150 gold or a comparable weapon I can use to convince me to part with the weapon. Sylvania's Cowl is not for sale. The Duke's Coat-of-Arms I just sold to Pretzel, and the Cloak of Deception I'd happily trade away for 25 gold or a Phoenix Essence." Warren scowls, as for the second time that day, a trade was reversed halfway through. "How much for your Unicorn Helmet?" Arthur appears legitimately pained to have to turn down so many of Warlen's requests. "Sorry to say, but the Unicorn Helmet is an Artifact I can still see myself using. Perhaps one of my weapons would be more helpful to you? I've stood in your shoes once, so I know the frustration of finding the perfect Artifact only to see it snatched up at the last moment. My only advice is to be open to a change in path, should such an opportunity present itself to you. You may find yourself embracing a way of life you would never have expected." Arthur looks affectionately towards Miirym, whose stance had relaxed proportionally to the amount of material goods she still stood to protect. Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Ooc-Any scrolls left? Warlen sighs. "How much for a healing staff?" Quote

"I can't do either of those right now, but keep me on the list of interested parties..."...and the Cloak of Deception I'd happily trade away for 25 gold or a Phoenix Essence." The Munchkin pondered a moment. "As an Assassin, I'm low in the battle order, so unless we're fighting a crowd, it's not as essential as it might be, but as a front-line Black Knight, it's not the worst thing to have in the ol' Bag of Holding - especially if I take another pass in the Fields someday. You have yourself a purchaser, Master Knight."The Munchkin handed Arthur a Phoenix Essence and picked up the Cloak of Deception. Edited June 20, 2015 by Lind Whisperer Quote

LordoftheNoobs Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Seeing the hall turn into a mini-marketplace, Grimwald figures he may as well follow suit. He puts up a small notice with the following: For sale: Staff of the Order Imperial (WP:10, Light Elemental) Magical Staff (WP:15, Staff) Burning Knuckle Helmet (SP:10, Wearer suffers burning -3 effect, Suitable for anyone, Headwear) Contact Grimwald Gjinko (the old gnome). Palathadric Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 (edited) "Gah! I would have just claimed that helmet if I knew you weren't going to keep it. How does 400 gold sound for it and the Magical Staff? I'd offer more, but it seems kind of hot and like it would be uncomfortable to wear for longer periods." LordoftheNoobs Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 "Helmets aren't much my style Pretzel, let alone ones that are constantly ablaze! 250 gold sounds fine with me." Grimwald makes the exchange. Quote

Flipz Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Ooc-Any scrolls left? Warlen sighs. "How much for a healing staff?" OOC: Scubacarrot has offered to buy the Scroll of Fear for 100 gold and the Scroll of Sloth for 200. "Hmm...it's rare and valuable. Truth be told, the Bright Polish and Level-Up Mushroom that Pretzel gave me were payment for the staff alone. I'd like to sell it to you, but I'm afraid it's worth more than anything you could give me. Tell you what, though: give me first pick of the loot you bring back from your next Quest, and the staff is yours. Does that seem fair to you?" But something in his tone tells him the dwarf's apology is sincere. "I...thank you," Arthur says awkwardly, unsure of what to say. "I know I myself was not the most patient of our companions on that Quest, so in light of that I feel I owe you an apology as well." Is this really the same Dwarf? Arthur wonders to himself. But anyways, it's a deal. Just wait up..." Warlen picks up a fork from the bar, concentrating on it, before handing it to the Dragoon. "This will keep you posted on the available loot.
