Flipz Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 "I can try shortly, Arthur. I haven't tried it yet, but from my understanding, it's not hard at all. Hey, Noel - it's been going pretty well. I'm a necromancer now, so if you need a dead thing to be less dead, you know who to ask. How have you been?" "Well..." Noel seems to consider something for a moment. "...Nah. My great-aunt has me covered." The half-elf tries to surreptitiously straighten his hat without Sorrow noticing. "I've been cool. Hanging out with Hél a lot. Doin' my own thing." "Blowing up trash bins. Animating dinnerware. Sending a cow to the moon." The tips of Noel's ears go red. "Dude! Stop embarrassing me!" Arthur chuckles. "All right, all right, I'll quit giving you a hard time." Still blushing, Noel scampers up to his room as coolly as he can manage. Arthur just shakes his head. "I should probably go up there and smooth things over before he has too long to stew. And like I said, I don't want to keep you too long if you've got a Quest to prepare for. We can talk more when you get back." Quote
Endgame Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 "A cow to the - wait, you're emaning to tell me that you sent an animal into outer space? I'm more impressed than anything else, although you may want to consider de-animating the cookware." Feeling my teacup shiver and almost whimper at the mention of the statement, I decide that perhaps that would be a bad idea. "Well, I'll be off - se you two again soon, hopefully." With that, I set off for the hall. Quote

"Um... when did everyone leave?" Keliim looks up from his mead and chicken, the see who said that. He sees a shinning lady-knight in white and purple. "Aye, the big masses of heroes left awhile back." He drinks from his mead. "I hast not seen thy around before, I am Keliim." The big man replies to the Mystic Knight and extends his hand. StickFig Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Matthias collapses onto the floor, having fallen asleep in his chair hours ago, slowly slumping and sliding farther and farther until finally the chair wasn't really under him any more... The gnome sits up and rubs his eyes, completely bewildered at his surroundings for just a moment. Rubbing his eyes and muttering, he orders a cider and sits back down to nurse it, but not before signing up for Quest 140. Quote
Mencot Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Annienal looks at Kellim's hand and reluctantly shakes it. "I'm, um, Annienal. How do you do?" "Good just good, a dram knackered after the last quest but nothin some mead can heal." The big man lifts up his mug and smiles. He looks at the tiny nervous knight lady "Annienal thy say, just relax. The looks deceive," Keliim bends forwards Annienal and whispers "rough on the outside but just a softy on the inside but don´t tell anyone that." he bends back and laughs and continues, "Thou Annienal from around here?" Waterbrick Down Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 "Yes long time no 'seen'. Worked a job outside the Eubric Forest hunting down assassins. Nasty bit of business, and quite the party to have to work with. Yourself?" Quote
Mencot Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 "Scheherazade dear, will thy bring us some more brewage." He turns to Boris "Hey take a seat. Ah some assassin business, sounds intresting, thou will habt to tell us more ´bout that." "What I been up too, I found out moo ´bout the gang that stole my fathers weapon and beat me up. And then i was on what seem'd to be a normal quest but turn'd out to be a quest with a strange demonic encounter from the ethereal." Quote

OOC: Annienal isn't tiny. She's actually pretty tall and lanky. Annienal gives Kellim an awkward look. These would be romantics were getting annoying. "The, um, dragon that's talking to me is telling me to roast you alive and eat you." Annienal replies bluntly. "But, um, that's not really possible, so I'd, um, appreciate it if you'd stop hitting on me." Annienal pulls out a book, Everything You've Ever Wanted to Know About Changelings But Were Too Afraid To Ask, and flips to last page she was on. Boris slides down the bar, "Now now, Keliim, no need to be giving the maiden a fright." The cleric gives a slight bow "Boris Bruhalv." "I'm, um... not a maiden." Annienal says, nose in her book. Waterbrick Down Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 "Demonic encounters from the ethereal, I hope you sent them back where they belonged?" The vampire took a sip from his wine glass. "Yes the assassins were almost as much of a pain as a Dwarf I had to keep in line. They had a touch of some sort of "Red Death" a disease of sorts that this alchemist was trying to cure. Apparently the assassins didn't think too highly of his work and were trying to stop it, but of course they didn't stand a chance against a fully armed party of heroes no matter how much in fighting was going on." "I'm, um... not a maiden." Annienal says, nose in her book. "A young lady of proper upbringing, seems like a maiden to me. We'll move our conversation." The vampire smiled and indicated for the barbarian to slide further down the bar with him. Quote
Mencot Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 (edited) OoC: I mean´t tiny in a "thin lady" way but also that normal humans and elfs look smaller besides Keliim, he is 6.9 and strong built. "The "Red death", so was there found some cure for that in the end then? "I'm, um... not a maiden." Annienal says, nose in her book. Boris turned back to Keliim, "Hard to tell, the alchemist only got through one batch before he keeled over and died. Bit confusing really, but he paid us before-hand and there weren't many clues to follow up on. So what variety of demon were you dealing with? Balor, Barlgura, vrock?" Quote
Mencot Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 "Oh, so the alchemist died, strange. Aye good thing he had paid thy before then. Wedge09 Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Finally, after a long hiatus, Alexander Vandangant is back in the Heroic Hall! He needed a break from being an hero, he searched some peace in his mansion out in the wildlands but after this long period of relaxing he felt the need to be back for a while, maybe only for a quest, maybe for more, he doesn't know. He enters the Hall, sniffing the particular scent of the place, unique, he smiles, looking around, seeing heroes chatting and relaxing, awaiting for the next quest. He goes to the Quest Board and after looking at the adverts, he smiles: he signs up for Quest #139: Around the World and Quest #140: Requiem for a Machine. Then he finds a place at the bar, ordering a glass of some nice, sweet and cold drink. Quote
