Althior sat down the following day, exhausted. He had spent the whole night thinking of his home and family. He never really had a home, but for him, Heroica was close enough. He'd had friends, he'd helped people, and what's more, he had Alexis.

Fight! The talking pumpkin performed a hit of 2 damage on William. William, surprised by the vegetable's beginners luck, swings and misses the pumpkin-man by a hair.

IC: De'kra watched with surprise as some of the heroes decided to beat each other up. Could this be a result of the Roma Ant Icism? De'kra knew that some creatures of flesh fight over their reproductive partners, and with the recent spread of Rome Ant Icim the timing of these fights seem a little more than just mere coincidence. The Hall was falling under the sway of utter chaos! De'kra rolled that thought around in his mind, the Hall was falling into chaos, along with the whole island of Uland. And there is one foe of the Hall who deals in chaos; Wren.

Alexis came into the hall after what had seemed like a long night. Sure, she had gotten some sleep, but she had spent most of the night wondering what was going on at home. She missed her family. Alexis saw Althior over at a table and went to join him. "How are you doing today Althior?"

[Kadabra]

The Grumpkin had altered his whining to William, and the two were now fighting. He shook his head, muttering something about over-eager idiots and unnecessary violence. He turned to the shade in a corner of the hall. "You're De'kra, I assume? Nice to meet you, I'm Arasmyth. So who do you believe shall win these brawls?"

[Rumble Strike]

Tarn goes up to the Quest board and removes his name from Quest#17 and Quest#18.

IC: De'kra shrugged and replied, "Neither, two fighters hurt two fighters great much, both will beat up in end. Same with Elves and Knights, both will end up kill other in end, and devastate north Uland. Elves and Knights will ravage forests in fight for sources of food and resources, villages will raid for food and tools also. Blood will flow like river, and no hero here seem to care."

"You're speaking of the skirmishes between the Brobric Elves and those red wearing knights who came to Uland just recently? I've heard that those "knights" assassinated the leader of the elves." He spat on the floor. "Despicable, if you ask me. No knight would resort to underhanded trickery like that, true knights are chivalrous and brave. If you're worried, don't be. I'm sure my kinfolk will crush this invasion before it even deserves to be called a full on war."

A mysterious stranger walks into the hall. He sees two young warriors about to fight. After a sigh, the stranger decides to mediate the battle.

"The mage with the odd fellow named Finnigan used a magic burst. You're screwed, other one."

OOC: Wait, was this supposed to be the fight with me and Alf? So, if I rolled a Magic Burst, that would mean...*calculates* Alf should now have 11 health? Is that right? What about Alf's action, did he hit me?

IC: De'kra shook his head and sighed. "Rumor false," he said, "Shadeuax started war, because Shadeaux will make great money from sell weapons to both sides. And because Crownies support knights, crownies have to join fight and loss resources. It make Shadeaux become stronger than crownies. Elves and Knights both pawns of Shadeaux, also heroes of Quest 4. Heroes of Quest 4 were manipulate into think Elves or Knights try to start war, to make heroes try to stop war by kill either Elf Leaders or Knight Leaders. Heroes fell for plan. I fell for plan. And now Uland at civil war, because I not enact anything right. Everything I enact wrong, nothing right!"

De'kra sighed again, and tried to relax. After failing to calm, he added, "Read up on Quest 4 records, it tell Arasmyth whole story. Just...make careful of Shadeaux and other houses. People in power in Uland no care for lives of people, only more power. Quest 10 show lack of empathy also."

[CMP]

Atramor took a quiet, inqusitive look at the Shade, seeming rather similar to the imp, Hybros, he'd quested with once before.

"Hey, you look like the....magic sorta type. If you catch me meaning," he added, look at the thing's witch-like hat and overall mysterious appearance. "You planning to head into that stuff?"

How I rely on something I no understand? I might use it in wrong way, way that hurt group. No, I go path that I understand, like Raider, Black Knight, and Assassin. I think I go route of Assassin, not only I have weapons I trust, but to track foes will help I enact usefulness to group. What you plan to become?

Are you signed up for that Quest? Seems like a way you could help right the wrongs caused by the Shadeaux... I'm not implying it was your fault, no, not at all, but it seems like something one might do to help take the weight off their shoulders. I would, at least, if I were in your situation."

De'kra shook his head and replied, "I want to help, but I not sure Crownies better. In Quest 4 I made a lot of mistakes, I not trust myself on another Quest yet. Might Igo on another Quest, I spend whole time distrust I and others. I would only hurt other heroes' success and paranoia. It best I take break and learn from mistakes, make I might not make new mistakes."

"Well, I sort of agree, there...thinking about it, what the hell even is the stuff? I'm thinking about going the way of a Black Knight...I dno't approve of ungodly amounts of armor, but, hell, with training like that, you're like a ghost, barely even able to get hit."

He glances at the cloaks De'kra is holding.

"Say, you mind if I borrow one of those? I'll be heading off on a quest soon enough. Hopefully. And, well, I don't see how having 2 cloaks will help much even if you do go on one anytime soon. Might able to buy it off you if I finish one, if not, I'll just give it back."

It no help you in defense or offense, but it let you see abilities, type, health, and power of enemies before you start fight. That way you know whether foe too strong, and possibly avoid risky battle. It work on three groups of major leaders in Quest 4, make I think it have no limit. Might you want it, you allow to borrow it when you go to quest, but I will need it back after you quest."

"Thanks, mate. I'll let 'ya know as soon as I get on one. Oh, and you find any gold burning a hole in your pocket in the near future...talk to Hoke Ablesword when he gets back. Might have an interesting knife for 'ya."
