"Aw! Thank you Althior! I can't wait to go. And yes, I would like to wait until after the quests have been announced to go." She smiles happily at him. Then decides to give him a kiss.

"Aww,, He decides to kiss her back, "You want to drop in and say hi to Finnegan at the room?"

Instantly reminded me of Pokemon game mechanics

-==IC: Arthur==-

"Poke-wha? Mechanics? Have you been hanging around the Ji Pei or something?"

OOC: Forgetting to label OOC is a pet peeve of mine.

"I...you said...you know what, never mind," Arthur said. He figured that this crazy Finnegan fellow he'd overheard people talking about would make more sense than Spag's earlier mumbling. He sighs, and looks around the hall, trying to see if anyone was around he hadn't spoken to yet. He was sure he'd seen De'kra around somewhere...

"Which quest did you go on, fellow Ranger?"

I was on Quest 12, alongside Atramor, Sir Glorfindel, Elgar and Tarn. We worked for the Guild of Invision and rescued one of their aides and saved Eubric from an ancient plague being made by a cult of Ninja Templars.

Althior walked back into the hall after a great night of sleep.:wub:He sat down, hoping to see Alexis again before the Quest started and one of them would probably have to leave.

Alexis came into the hall knowing that today a quest would be announced. She was hoping she and Althior would go on it together. As she came into the bar, she saw Althior at a table and went to join him. "Are you excited to see who is going on that quest today?" She smiles at him.

Arasmyth returns to the hall from his inn, avoiding the annoying barbarian. He was very frustrating to deal with, but Arasmyth had to admit he was an OK fighter. He sat in eager anticipation of the announcement of the heroes selected for Quest 17.

A Hinckwell Commodore enters the Hall and checks the sign-up sheet for Quest 17.

Ugh. Only one Knight, and still no Clerics. Ah, well, they'll have to do.

Commodore Largus selects eight heroes from the Hall and departs with them.

Arasmyth quietly lets out a sigh of relief that he had been cosen and the barbarian - what was his name again? Ulph? - hadn't. He had only met Althior and Arthur formally before, but had seen the Grumpkin in passing. He was sure he would get acquainted with the others soon enough. Althior was Party Leader. Arasmyth felt good with that decision, as Althior was the only one of these heroes whom he had actually Quested with before. He was a bit odd, and lovestruck with Alexis, but could be depended upon in combat. Arasmyth claps Arthur on the back. "We got in, eh, boy? Stick with me, I'll show you the ropes."

Having grown out his hair some to combat the winter cold, En Sabah Nur removed his bandana. The mage gritted his teeth in anticipation of the pain to come. He put on the thorny diadem the crown sent what could only be described as miniature lightning bolts of pain shooting throughout his body. Although feeling physically weakened, Nur knew his command over etheral spells had increased. "Now then, let's see if we can try this thing out."

En Sabah Nur signed his name to Quest #18: The Storm.

Atramor grumbles at the sign-ups, as not only did the commodore not choose him, he made that mage Party Leader. At least the vegetable would be going with him. And so he drowns his annoyance in rum, as usual, while McCafferey perched herself on his hat.

IC: De'kra nods at the sign-up sheet, glad that at least one of the heroes from Quest 4 would be going to clean up the mess that they started. Silently De'kra felt anger towards himself for not volunteering, but at the same time he knew he needed to think over what had happened in Quest 4 before he could trust himself in battle again. But even as he knew the war would go on and he disliked himself for starting it, De'kra took into account that this war was microscopic. Many would die for sure, but this world was quite a bit bigger than Uland. The loss of life wasn't as terrible as it could be. But of course De'kra wouldn't ever dare consider a war unimportant, he knew all to well that unforeseen variables could easily change the fate of a conflict from the violent war to the apocalypse, the Ellf/Lion War just wasn't there yet.

"I'm glad there are several experienced mages on this trip. I have a feeling your magical expertise will be much needed, and I am eager to learn from both of you."

"Sorry, friend. One day we'll Quest together, eh?"

"Horray, It seems I'm selected for the quest, It's time for preperations!"

"I've been told a bedroll is essential for Heroes who aren't Barbarians, I'd recommend you pick one up from the Marketplace before we leave!"

Arthur walks over to De'kra. "Mr. De'kra, sir, what advice can you give me on dealing with the Lion Knights and the Brobric Elves? What is the most important thing you learned from Quest 4?"

Atramor glances at Arthur, and walks over as well.

"'Scuse the interruption, but Quest 4 wasn't the only dealing with the Hinckwells. I don't know them much, but they had me and a few others break into a Shadeuax warehouse with little evidence. Practically had to fight our way out....you want me advice, you stay sharp. The Hinckwells will go out of their way to cause trouble for the Shadeuax and whoever's allied with them. Have some sense, and make sure you're not charging right into the enemy at the word of a Hinckwell, because trust me, they will probably try."

"Aw, how kind of you, thanks for telling me that. I'm Isabella, and you are?"
