Tanma Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 "Planet? You must know a lot about other worlds. The only one I have ever come to know is this one..." Hybros couldn't even fathom the fact that there were other worlds besides Oliega. "Yes, I'm fine thank you...." he said, eager to avoid discussing his philosophical meanders. Hybros noted De'kra's Fang Dagger, which seemed to glow with fire. "You mentioned someone you knew... of fire? Would that have anything to do with that dagger of yours there?" IC: De'kra shook his head and clicked, "I honestly not know much of other worlds, I know of two worlds for sure, but they same planet. Basically two worlds are twins, and same history and geography. In one twin that world becomes destroy, in other twin world save by scientists...That make I worried though, as Olegaia share many features and two worlds. What if Olegaia a third time-path, and it Source soon found?" The shade answered with a click, "Yes, I molded hilt after him. Well, his third form anyway, he was rebuilt twice. I...don't remember he first form, but I sure he had one." Quote
xxlrocka Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 *Drake dragged himself into the hall and slumped onto a nearby bench* "I'm so bored! I wish there was some excitement here! Oh, and I'm tired too." *Drake falls asleep* Quote
Khorne Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Eric sat slumped in comfortable chair, his head resting on his hand. His icy blue eyes stared forward. In his other free hand he held his latest purchase: the topaz. Next to him, his great sword Godricsleif stood. Eric's mind wandered and thoughts were racing through his head. He shook his head, as if to get rid of the thoughts. He picked up a bottle of liquor standing next to him on the ground and took a hefty swig. His craving for battle and adventure, the famed Nordic wanderlust, was resurging again. He wanted to roam the world. He had no place here, no home, no connections. He was no Hero. He had joined Heroica in search of eternal glory and a chance to redeem himself, all of the loot was a nice extra. He joined so he could return home again. He had lost that reason now. The gods had forsaken him, so had his home and its people. Maybe it was the only fair course of events that was possible after what he'd done all those years back? "No..." Eric silently muttered, putting the glass bottle to his lips once more. His mind was quick to back up Eric's opinion. No man should be punished this hard. No man should be taken everything. Perhaps it was time to take it back? Maybe the Nord could carve out a powerbase for himself here? He was more of a man and infinite times the warrior most of these Southern Eubrican residents were. If a rabble of thieves can gain power here, surely a Norse prince was capable of something similar. His cold gaze turned back to the topaz he held in his hand. "Maybe I should be a god instead" the Nord softly spoke again. Godricsleif hummed violently as he uttered the sentence, cold fumes breaking free from the blade. Eric smirked. Quote
RPGer Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 "Cinna, are you alright?" Cinna slumps to the floor. "I need a Cleric over here NOW!" Durkon kneels beside her, taking a healing kit out from his pouch. Quote
xxlrocka Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 (edited) *Drake hears the shouting of someone and immediately wakes up* "Huh? You need a cleric? ANY CLERICS IN HERE?!?!?!?" Edited April 2, 2012 by xxlrocka Quote
swils Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Hearing a desperate call for a cleric, Thormanil, having just entered the Hall, rushes over. "What's the big... Oh, Cinna? You look fine to me... Wait, I think I understand. Durkon, you must be a psychic or summin, eh?" Durkon gives Thormanil a confused look. Thormanil grins and whollops Durkon and Drake upside their heads with his new staff. The pair slump to the floor, seemingly quite unconscious. "Ay! Someone get a cleric! Or at least some ice. I don't think these two'll be waking up any time soon, heh heh." Take a hint. He turns to Cinna "Let's grab a drink and catch up with some folk, eh?" Quote
Darkdragon Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Cinna starts laughing. "That was great Thormanil. I think those two boys were drunk as skunks. I mean heck, I've been sitting here the whole time. Were they looking at that rag on the floor thinking it was me?" Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Guts looked down from the balcony, and saw a man in a cloak knock two drunk fellows to the floor. Guts grinned, those two had annoyed him, they were too loud, to his preference, made it hard to focus on the wine. From his vantage point, he applaused slowly. He had come back from the arena, as there were no sign his battle was going to be starting soon, and his expected opponent, Dak, was nowhere to be seen. Quote
swils Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 "Aye, Scheherazade serves a mean pint of ale for pennies, I'd bet it's easy to lose yerself in one of those glasses. But to mistake you fer a rag? Yer sellin' yerself short, Cinna! Surely, it must have at least been a mop that fell over!" Quote
Darkdragon Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 "Ah yeah, I'm more like a mop when bad guys are concerned...I mop the floor with'm." "How've you been? I see you took up some training, you look more confident than before. Which I didn't know was possible." Quote
Scorpiox Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Haldor looked up as a vertically challenged giant he hadn't been aquainted with bump off those two folks who had been rambling about. 'Good shot', he mused. He called down to the man, who was now conversing with a woman, evidently well-versed in the magic arts. "Hark, fellow! You hit like one who has much experiance. Good shot, those two had it coming. I don't think I have speak to you before. Haldor vaults the banister and walks over to the man. I am Haldor Skovgaard, I hail from the North. Grabbing a tankard of mead, Haldor sat down. What be your name? And you too young woman, what do they call you?" Quote
swils Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 "Confident? Hah! I guess I just don't like dawdlin' around. Truth be told, that witch had me damn near shaking. I'm glad to be back in Eubric, after everything that happened in Salmanda. I've mostly been clearin' my head this last week or so. Although, I spent a few days in a back room of the training hall, choking on gods-only-know what kinda smoke, then they told me I'd pass for a Shaman, so here I am, heh heh. How about yerself? I don't recall seein' ya while I was back at the training room." Quote
Darkdragon Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 "Ah a Shaman, very respecatble. I have not gone to the training hall yet, I'm still recovering my blistered hands from all the digging." Cinna chuckles softly "Really though, I do need to get in there train a bit. We must rescue Bluto somehow and I can't do it like this obviously. I need to be more than a mop!" Quote
Peppermint_M Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 There was a loud thump as Tesni jumped from the rafters. Sleeping up there in the shadows was a decent way to pass the time. 'I wonder if anyone noticed that' she thought to herself grinning as she went in search of a meal. Quote
Darkdragon Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Cinna looks at the new half-naked man at the table. "Hi there. I'm Cinna. Nice to meet you Haldor. Tell me, are men's shirts really expensive in Eubric? Where I'm from, men and women's clothing is the same price but I see so many men here not wea....." A loud boom disrupts her train of thought and she looks over toward the sound to see a mighty female warrior had appeared seemingly out of nowhere. "Everything alright over there?" she calls over. Quote
JimBee Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 The shade answered with a click, "Yes, I molded hilt after him. Well, his third form anyway, he was rebuilt twice. I...don't remember he first form, but I sure he had one." "Mm." Hybros was unsure if he understood the shade completely. Forms? "Maybe it's time for me to acquire one of those gems... it would certainly help in battle." With that, Hybros gave a quick nod to his friend as he headed out of the hall, aiming to do some research in the library before purchasing an elemental gem. After all, he had no idea how one would work. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 "No worries friend!" Tesni waved in the direction of the voice. 'Strange, it seems Cysgodion is lessening his grip' she mused at the change in her voice. Quote
Scorpiox Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Cinna looks at the new half-naked man at the table. "Hi there. "My mail is gone, Thoric must have stolen it in Valhalla. Haldor chuckled, not noticing the vacant look on Cinna's face at the name of Thoric and the Norse paradise of Valhalla. I will get something soon, maybe when I have more time. The quality of mail here in Eubric is less than desirable, not good enough for Norse standards, too brittle. But enough of that. Heard that you went too help that Ziegfried woman, but I know not much else, how did everything go?" Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Guts' eyes fixed on the shirtless norseman. Haldor, the norseman. While pondering why there were relatively many norsemen in the area, Guts walked down. He walked up to Haldor, gently pushing aside Cinna, with the words: "Sorry, girl, I need to have words with this man." Guts nodded to Thormanil, still amused by his performance earlier, and then proceeded to lead Haldor a short distance away from the group. Quietly, Guts says: "Haldor Skovgaard, I assume? I must ask you, what in Mercutio's true name were you thinking in that village. Do you have ANY idea what you have done? I'm not sure were you learned my name, but that was foolish, even for Norse standards, and believe me, I have dealt with enough Norsemen to know what I'm talking about." Continuing, without his usual calmness, and with an almost maniacal look in his eyes: "They will know you were there, and follow you here, not good, not good. You set back months of me slowly expanding the gap!" Quote
Darkdragon Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 "First of all, sir, I am no mere girly you can push around and secondly...hey get back here!", Cinna's temper begins to flare at the rudeness of the stranger. She turns back to Thormanil. "There's goes another pompus hero. You know, I really thought there would be more respect amongst the heroes here." Quote
Peppermint_M Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Finding herself a plate of roast with trimmings Tesni sought out Haldor, as luck would have it, the person who had enquired of her wellbeing was also sat at the table. "Well met friends." Tesni noted another of the ragedy rogues took Haldor away and shrugged. Those sort were never a threat. Quote
Darkdragon Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 She turns to the newcomer to the table. "Hi there. I'm Cinna. What happened over there, everthing ok? What were you saying about losing your grip?" Quote
The Legonater Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 I take note of my friend Haldor at a nearby table, surrounded by Heroes. I offer him a smile then walk over to him. Haldor, ol' friend. How've you been? Quote
Tanma Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 IC: As De'kra prepared to head to the library, he caught sight of Cinna. Glad to see another familiar face, the shade walked over to the mage and clicked, "Makuta, it good to see you. How was you quest to help Zeigfierd?" Quote
Darkdragon Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Cinna smiles when De'kra approaches. "Good to see you again, the quest was successful. We managed to save her life. Unfortunately we were tricked by a witch named Baba and she has Bluto Ziegfried held captive. You are looking better since I last saw you, are things making more sense to you these days?" Quote
