Heroica RPG - Heroica Hall

[CMP]

"Hmph. I was just about go do some training myself."

Atramor twists on his heel, heading towards another wing of the hall - not before stopping to look at the questboard, of course. Apparently some dirt...er, sand?, was being dug up in the Dastan Empire. He scribbles his name down on Quests 29, 30, and 31. With a satisfied nod from him, he begins his brief walk once again, wondering what this 'training hall' could hold in store for him.

"It's an Aura, thank you very much!"

[Well it wasn't exactly easy to tell.]

"I may know why birds don't seem to like you. So, I didn't get a chance to read the board, any new quests up that look interesting?"

"Well one closes today, something about a tournament and three other quests that all seem to relate. I don't care to much which one we go on, as long as we're together." Alexis says with a smile.

[K-Nut]

"Me neither. Maybe we should try this one with this scientific breakthrough. Seems easy enough and the rewards pretty nice." He smiles "What do you say?"

"Alright, let's do it." Alexis heads downstars and signs her name under Quest #28. She waits for Althior to sign up. "It should be about time for you to train in a new skill isn't it Althior?"

Althior signs up for Quest #28. "Yeah, but I can do that later, I want to stay here for now." Althior sat silent for a moment, "How is Ellaria? I haven't heard from her since a few weeks ago. Is everything alright?"

"Okay whatever you want to do." Alexis says with a smile. "Oh Ellaria, well, she had her baby about two weeks ago, a cute little thing too. Tesni and I were with her when she gave birth, I think she was comforted by our presence."

Althior gave a sigh of relief. "Thank the gods. She sounded worried sick last time I heard from her, so it's a good thing she's alright."

Atramor strides back into the hall in his new Witch garb, looking somewhat annoyed. He had three things on his to-do list now, as McCafferey had forcibly added one....

"'Ey, has anyone seen De'kra?" he asks once inside, removing the Cloak of the Elven Spy. The artifact had served him well, but it was high time he gave the thing back to the shade.

[Flipz]

Arthur strides back into the Hall, seeing if he could spot any familiar faces. Althior and Alexis were busy cooing at each other, and Atramor swept into the Training Room before Arthur could get his attention. He hoped he could find De'kra before either of them departed, and that he could meet some of the Heroes with which he had corresponded through the hated Valentine Zeigfried...

[CMP]

This hall ain't big enough for 2 heroes to stride into.

Atramor turns as he hears footsteps, and notes the mage, Arthur, step inside. He can tell from his looks that he's been through a fair number of scrapes now.

"Hello, mate," he greets, vaguely reaching for his hat before realizing, with a pang, its absence. "How'd your fort defense go? Good, I'd guess, seein' as Althior's in one piece...by the way, have you seen De'kra? Or, on a similar note, er..." he glances down at the torn page McCafferey has given him. "...a 'Cinna the Dark?"

"Let's go ahead and do it now, it looks like the quest leaves soon."

Mere seconds after re-entering the hall, Helm was already back at the quest board. That final battle had only been enough to further increase his desire for combat. He. Wanted. Blood.

He signed up for Quest #31 immediately, as the Lion Knights obviously only asked for help when they really did need it.

Then, he signed up for Quest #29 since it, although not directly promising combat, involved adventuring into far off lands.

Finally, after mulling it over for a while, he signed up for Quest #30, though rather in small print, still remembering fighting alongside the Lion Knights.

After reading the remaining quest and deciding he was unsuitable, he headed off for the marketplace, his pockets stuffed with gold.

Alexandre walks into the hall, it was good to be back. But instantly signed up for Quest 31, Lions and Lambs. His service should give him an advantage.

[Rumble Strike]

Tarn comes back to a bustling Hall, full of heroes, some he recognised, and he nodded and shook hands with several of them. The hubbub at the Quest Board had just about died down, and Tarn decided to sign up for Quest#30: Ambassadors of Dastan and also Quest#31: Lions and Lambs.

That done, he took a large mug of mead and sat at a table on his own, listening to the many voices of the hall.

"Wow! Atramor! Loving the new look! And...you've embraced the Etherial potential within you! Congratulations."

Arthur holds up his new Scrolls. "I bought these off of Elphaba a bit ago, I hope to have some "fun" with them soon."

"Strange, those are the two Heroes I've been looking for as well." Remembering there were exactly four spots left for Quest 31, and feeling a foreboding sense of destiny, he spoke hastily. "Come on, Atramor, we need to find De'kra and Cinna, and sign up for Quest 31 together. Although..." he hesitates. "I know it says 'no Clerics', but honestly, the opportunity is too good to pass up. It just feels...right, somehow."

[CMP]

"Aye...I bought a scroll of my own from her several months ago. Only now can I use the damn thing. De'kra I have to give this cloak back to, and Cinna I have to buy this talisman from...." he flashes the picture of Baba and the necklace. "...apparently it's made for Witches, and I ain't seen another one around the hall. And I'll be damned if I'm mistaken for a Cleric...I'm in this mystic stuff for the poison and the hexing. I may be able to heal, but I'm in no mood to be wavin' 'round sticks from the back row," he states somewhat proudly, tapping the pommel of the Black Katana.

[Waterbrick Down]

A member of the Town watch ran into Heroica Hall slightly out of breath.

"Ahem, I'm here to fetch a Lord Lawrence Boomingham (Zepher), a Mr. En Sabah Nur (Jebediahs), Mr. Haldor Skovgaard (Scorpiox), Ms. Jess Islanti (Sisco), and a Mr. Bartholomew Docken (Brick Doctor). Do you realise the scientific extravaganza started almost 45 minutes ago, fetch whatever you should need as far as supplies and let's be on our way!"

Althior walked up to the list of heroes on Quest #28. He saw his name was not on the list, and prayed that Alexis' name wasn't on the list either. Thank Ennoc that it wasn't. HE sighed in relief, grateful that they would not be separated any time soon.

Haldor started to lift heavy objects in preparation for the case of heads needing to roll at the unveiling. Hopefully that would not be needed, but better safe than sorry. Haldor finished a preparing his things, nodded at returning Althior. Unfortunatly there was no time for the friends to speak and share tales.

Althior looks over towards Haldor, who's not wearing a shirt he mouths to him:

Nyx returns to Heroica Hall feeling somewhat uneasy. As she walks through the great doors, she blinks a little, taking in the hustle and bustle of activity. She carefully picks her way across the room towards the bar, and slumps forward onto it - her head in her hands as she looks at Scheherezade with an expression somewhere between sadness and anger.

"A very large and very strong drink please Scherry."

Nyx downs the drink in one go, visibly relaxing. It is only now noticeable that the atmosphere around her has become less tense. She sighs, closes her eyes for a moment, and reopens them with a new expression of determination on her face. The questboard attracts her attention, and she walks over and studies each proposition carefully. After due consideration she decides to sign her name under Quest #30: Ambassadors of Dastan.

She feels the need to hit something. Hard. And then set fire to it.

Hello, all beings! Cronk is back.

Cronk sees Nyx and sits next to her after retrieving some buttermilk from the bar.

Cronk can't help but notice how Nyx left in a huff. Cronk think guard Patricia is jerk, too, if it helps. Friends only try to help and guard yell at friends, questions friends honesty when it is gaurds' honesty that is questionable.
