OOC: had to work on some school projects last night, so I had to log out. Whoops!

In retrospect, this was probably the most excrutiating part of my life. Afterlife, actually. Dying a second time isn't nearly as pleasant as the first they say, and I had no desire to prove them right.My heart was still drumming like a madman, and it seemed to be getting worse. If that is possible.

"I didn't mean to d-draw a c-crowd." I attempt a slight smile to lighten the mood, but am quickly punished by my heart for doing so.

"Anything at this p-point that could help. Even if it doesn't-t work, lightning would be far less painful of a death then t-t-this... I have died once before, and I certainly don't want t-t-to die a second this way..."

Drake looked worriedly at the rogue and said "I think I know what to do...." before running over to scheherazade. "Gimme some water, a hero is dying over there!" Drake demanded quickly. Drake ran back with a glass of water and poured a bit over the rogue. Drake then gave the glass of water to the rogue and said "Here, try and drink this. I will get medical help.".

Leo Aragon walks back into the hall, as he is stil waiting for his name to be called in the Arena. He simply raises his Topaz and fires off a bolt of lightning, to try and resuscitate the hero.

Drake looked over to someone firing a bolt of lightning. "This situation is shocking, isn't it?" Drake laughed.

[Endgame]

Though the flamerobe character meant well, the water he poured on me didn't help much. Actually, it just conducted the electricity fired at me and caused me to get knocked out.

Seconds later I reawoke, my pulse back in check. I boosted myself off the cold floor with my scythe and wiped the dust off my cloak. A large amount people were surrouding me - the flamerobe man, a helpful warden, a mystic knight who apparently was the one who shot me, the original woman i spoke to, and yet another barbarian.

"That... wasn't a pleasant experience..."

I looked at all the worried heroes, suddenly realizing how much trouble I had caused.

"I... I've never actually been helped before. Not since I left home. Everyone would just turn and run at the sight of a "filthy undead". So... thank you all. Thank you all from the bottom of my now operational heart."

"I'm in debt to you all, but I have just these robes, a vial of venom, and some coins to my name. Hardly enough to repay you for what you did today. I'm afraid all I can offer you is my gratitude..."

Drake walked away from the rogue, feeling happy that he helped. He didn't really need to get that water, but if everything failed, he could have given him the water and let him die. Good thing the blast from the topaz came.....but it did come a bit late and it was silly for the person to shoot electricity right at the poor fellow when water was dripping down his sides. But he was just happy to help. He just didn't want anybody else to die in the world.....except goblins. He really hated goblins. Then he walked up to the rogue and said "Mind telling me a bit about yourself?".

"Well its good to see you back on your feet... I don't need any reward In fact I wouldn't mind helping you out, so, want a drink? Oh wait, maybe not, eh..."

"Not much to know. Son - and creation - of a powerful necromancer, and came here after a family tragedy a few centuries back. I come from the Waldurk region. Also, apparently, alchohol triggers heart attacks in undead... But we all know that now."

"Waldurk region.....I once went there. I was going there because I was going to draida bay....but a creepy dark druid slowed me down. I eventually got him out of the way for a couple of hours, and when I got to draida bay I had more trouble with the goblins that had taken the place over! Oh....I've gone into my background. Only thing you need to know is at one point in my life I worked as a guard at castle fortaan."

No one had noticed that Benji was there the whole time, listening to the conversation.

Drake clearly heard what everyone was saying. "Look, I was pretty good at fighting then. They thought that they should hire me so if some thief tried to get in, I would beat them until I saw some blood. Unfortunately, I was guarding the castle one day, when a goblin disguised as the king came riding on a horse. He asked to come in and I let him in, thinking he was the king. Unfortunately, I found out he was a goblin, and destruction followed. The disguised goblin revealed that he was the king, but he was the king of goblins. So, there I was, angry. I was angry because that idiot made me fail my duty. I ran after the goblin, hoping to kill him, when suddenly the king appeared. The goblin king stabbed the king and got his army to wipe out the other people in the castle....and the castle itself. Nobody made it out alive...except me." Drake said, sadly.

Drake was now sitting down, staring at all the heroes in the hall. Didn't seem like many. Ever since the heroes picked for the dastan quests left, the hall was quiet....well, it was until the creepy dude had that heart attack, but when drake saved him, all went quiet again. He stood up and wondered around the hall.

They thought that they should hire me so if some thief tried to get in, I would beat them until I saw some blood. Unfortunately, I was guarding the castle one day, when a goblin disguised as the king came riding on a horse. He asked to come in and I let him in, thinking he was the king. Unfortunately, I found out he was a goblin, and destruction followed. The disguised goblin revealed that he was the king, but he was the king of goblins. So, there I was, angry. I was angry because that idiot made me fail my duty. I ran after the goblin, hoping to kill him, when suddenly the king appeared.
