RPGer Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Johon gets up and walks over to the quest board, where he finds Durkon (Durkonna) talking to him. "Wha... What happened to you?" Johon says, very surprised. He then turns to the quest board and signs up for the new quest, #36. He turns to Drake and some others that seem to have fallen asleep in the middle of the day from being too drunk. Johon walks over towards Mizuki Kimura and gives her a kind smile. "How are you, surely a pretty woman such as yourself is having a nice day on a day like today." Johon turns to Drake and stares him down. As he looks back towards Mizuki Kimura, Drake slumps back into his chair and gives Johon a simple expression, trying to communicate: 'I didn't do it, honest, it was Dak!' but fails to receive forgiveness. "Would you like a ride?" Johon says to Mizuki Kimura, motioning his dragon. He then turns back to Drake and bumps into his chair, knocking him over. "Don't drink that. It's bad for your health." "Long story short annoying QM's, tempting potions, I drank a potion and.....I'm a.....girl...." Quote

"Demons in the hall, concocting such evil potions," is all I can mutter. Thankfully, I do not recognize the name "Durkon", nor know that this female is just as vile in my sight as the devil in the hall. Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Sylph walked past the game table and the holier-than-thou cleric on his way to the Resign-up sheet for Quest 25. His bat dove into his cloak, and he pulled a feather pen from his sack. He dipped it in ink and scratched his name on the board. "SYLPH SOLANUM." "Ready when you are mates." He said more to himself than anyone else, leaning his back on the post as he waited. Quote

Seeing Durkonette sign up, Sylph nodded in recognition of her familiar face. "Good to have you back. I don't like the mad monk's type of people either." "We need to talk." She pulls Sylph aside into a corner of the Hall. "Can you heal me of this horrible sickness? It...is difficult to out....even.....in here....that cleric..disturbed me...very much....he seemed rather weird...like a rogue, no like a witch. I need to have someone, anybody except him.....to talk to. Not a romance, just someone to talk to. My life....is difficult...to say the least.....My parents were killed by floods...I...killed for food....I am not proud of it...I grew and trained in lighting....it was more deadly than fire to water.....but at the same time...water and lightning are in storms.... Anyway, I trained until I was rather potent in lightning magic, and married. On our first day as man and wife, our house was attacked by the Wolfgang, she was killed. I was nearly dead. Her name....was Cinna.... I lived in Waldurk for years.....I will talk later, I must depart to Waldurk to inquire of something. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 "Well, ummmm. Good to know. I'm not a therapist nor am I looking for romance... Especially not the way you are right now... Out of your own skin. However, you can talk to me. Especially of the Waldruk forests. I remember them fondly. I was unaware that the Wolfgang had a presence in the forests though. Surely, you mean you were in the city when she was killed? Anyway, You need my Divine skills for something? Should you need spiritual healing, I am more than willing to assist you in reconnecting to Mother Nature. such is my duty as her servant." Quote

"Someone actually lived in Waldurk Forests other then I here?" "I did. A very long time ago. It's where I first connected with Sylvania, the beautiful goddess of nature, and where My Mentor and I lived and where he died. I remember the dark forest so well that when I close my eyes I can almost see the moss coated forest floor through small beams of light that manage to break through the nearly impenetrable canopy. Sometimes at night, I recall the feral wolves' howl, and the arcane ruins of decrepit elf settlements. Many secrets and mysteries remain hidden among the thick grey trees of my past life in the Waldurk Forest, and I miss... that life." Sylph said, slowly as if lost in his own world for a second, his eyes, had they been visible beneath his all-concealing metal helmet, would have been glass-like and distant. "But there was also the first time I felt the sting of cold iron, and the even worse sting of betrayal by a loved one." He stated, returning from his trance. "And that is even more bitter than any herb grown wild in the forest. But enough of my bitter-sweet memories." He said like a tired war veteran. "How do you know the Forest?" Quote

I may come of as rude by saying that to an... undead such as yourself, but bringing a creature back from death strikes me as one of the most unnatural acts that can be committed. Endgame Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 I give a small wave good-bye, confident that we could resume the conversation later. I head outside into the cold night, unraveling 2 pieces of yarn in my bed roll as I stride underneath the starry night sky. Using the now unraveled yarn, I tie a knit between two low tree brances, creating a hammock. Feet away from the hall door, I scurry inside the hammock and look up into the skies, trying to see if any of the constellations I had watched as a child in Waldurk were somehow here. As fate would have it, as I was falling asleep, I saw out of the corner of my eye a more then familiar constellation: "Helvetia's Embrace". I drifted off into a sleep. Quote
xxlrocka Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Drake woke up. He woke up at an early time in the morning. He wondered around all the sleeping heroes without them noticing, because they were so fast asleep it seemed as if they were dead! Well, in Sorrow's case, you could say he was dead, because he was. Well, undead, but that counts as being dead. Drake made his way out of the hall, layed down on the wet, damp grass and he looked up at the sky. Quote
