IsGötarlän some kind of island? I have heard of an island up north that sounds like that name, like Gotland or something. Is this it? Quote
The_Customizer Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Well, it seems as though no one is in the hall currently, perhaps now would be a time to get some good food to eat. Said Erdathcath as she walked over to the bar and picked up some good steak, hoping to enjoy it in peace. Quote

K-Nut Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Althior walked back into the saloon, though he never remembered leaving. ( ) He made sure to sit on the opposite side of the saloon than the guy who tried to shoot him earlier. He knew it was a matter of time before he'd trip a random Crusader walking in and everyone would get drunk and have a hoedown. Quote

posades Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Literally translated as “He walks among us, but is not one of us”, Xander Unth’or has never felt like he’s quite belonged. Raised by the peaceful half-beast/half-human barbaric clans of the Southeast from an early age, he lives in tune with nature –both respectful and wary of its awesome power. Although the tribe has treated him well, a night-vision has communicated that it is time to move on to find his true roots and destiny. Having traveled countless days, he finally arrives at an enormous man-made structure and reads a small paper attached to the message board near the entrance: “Heroica Hall Quest Sign-up Sheet: Heroes Needed!” “Could this be my final destination?” Xander wondered as he scribbled his name beside the quest titled Harvest Time and continued into the gigantic building. The_Customizer Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 "I'll take you up on that cup of tea. Better be civilized before the hoedown starts." Sure thing! I'll be here until Friday, if you want someone to talk to, I'll be here. just like always. Quote

Fives Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 The door to the Hall opened and shut quickly. Trotter made his was to the middle of the room, soaked in his cloak and hood. He positioned himself so everyone could hear him and said "There is a tornado coming." Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 The door to the Hall opened and shut quickly. Trotter made his was to the middle of the room, soaked in his cloak and hood. He positioned himself so everyone could hear him and said "There is a tornado coming." Bacari stands up and starts making a wall with the tables, tipping them over to make a barricade. "Get your weapons, I bet the wind god set down his minion griffin warriors to help with the destruction. I and the Ranger's with bows shall go onto the flanks. Help me barricade the door so we can wait it out. Mage, start filling cups with water." Bacari commands. "If the barbarians are still here, place them in front of the doors so they can withstand a horde with their strength." Quote
The_Customizer Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 "We do not have to worry about the tornado. The worst it can do is bring down this impossibly strong hall. As long as no one leaves the Hall we shall all be safe. Just prepare to bunker down for the night." Erdathcath stated, as she opened her bedroll and layed it on the ground. And went to sleep. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Cronk not know halfings predict weather. Cronk learn something new every day. Maybe Cronk learn two things because Cronk never heard of tornado on island. Cronk believe Ranger Bacari overreacting a smidge. Cronk think Hall will not blow away even if halfling correct. Cronk stay seated and drink buttermilk. Maybe order chicken. Quote
Fives Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 "I don't predict weather, Orc, I just saw the storm, plus is poring rain outside." Trotter sat down at a table and ordered a warm cup of tea. "Oh, and Bacari, what the hell are you talking about?" Quote
The_Customizer Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 "Oh, and Bacari, what the hell are you talking about?" Erdathcath wakes up and spots Trotter walking in. "That's what i was wondering. Anyhow, I think I'll *yawns* join you for some tea. I could use some right now." Quote

Zepher Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 "Ha! Thank you for your story Tesni. It is too bad Eric left, but I'm sure I'll meet with him later. I must retire now my lady." Boomingham winked to the barbarian and started to head towards the door. He heard murmurs of a tornado. Boomingham simply chuckled. "This town was built to withstand an invasion. Why would a tornado harm it? Perhaps it only seems dangerous to a halfling, considering it's size," he whispered to someone next to him. With that, Boomingham put on a cloak and stepped out into the admittedly high winded storm. Back to the inn until he heard back from the Hinckwells as to if he had been selected for their quest. Lego Pinocchio Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 "OHHHH, my head" Roared Thrain "It seems i'm not the only one who can't hold me ale" He muttered looking at all of the passed out heroes "Are any of you fools actually awake?" He ate up quickly so he could check the quest board, full he said. Imagine waiting behind for another quest. He was tetchy since the fight yesterday. He was looking forward to getting the anger out of his system Quote
SirSven7 Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Having avoided the hall over the past few days (for fear of being discovered) Sven walked back into the hall. Bedroll and potions tucked into his knapsack Sven walked up to the bar maid and ordered a hearty breakfast, “some buttermilk for me too please”, (its best to keep a clear head). Checking the message board Sven could see that there where a great deal of signed people for each quest; hopefully he would be one of them to actually participate. Now to play the waiting game, Sven sat down in a quiet corner of the bar (taking care to avoid the other occupant eating breakfast) and waited to see how the day would develop. At least the breakfast was free. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Tesni sat up, 'Not another night on the floor here! I must really get to an inn...' She noticed that her companions were otherwise occupied and decided to venture out and explore the Island. Quote
