Sir Brickington came back. He noticed the irritation in Karie's eyes. He looked to Arnulf, Brickington was getting mad at this point, "Look buddy, you can either leave or get over it. You may let me know if I made a wrong choice, but you may not hang over my head. I am fine you telling me personally, but now you are just be ridiculous. And I don't pay for people's drinks when they get drunk." He still wanted to be friendly to Arnulf, but he was getting impatient. "So Karie what are your plans for the future?"

"Yeah, considering the amount of alcohol you've consumed, yeah, you should have a headache. I have nothing that'll help you, so I can't help you there, Arnulf." She turned to Brickington, a look of irritation in her eyes.

"Look, not now, alright. I've got a lot on my mind."

Karie eyes Brickington as he walks out. She leans back in her chair and puts her feet back on the table.

"We got screwed over by our employer." She states. It wasn't the truth, but it wasn't a lie either.

"Said he was someone he wasn't, threw us into a cell, wound up getting his cousin involved. Killed his giant, ugly snake pet thing. You know, the usual. Or at least, I think that's the usual?" Karie hadn't been screwed over this badly since... well... now that she thinks about it, this is the worst she's been screwed over.

"Consider it the worst time I've been screwed over. Wait, no... There was that time I wound up doing that Legends of Terra Chima play. Gah! Never again!"

She wobbles in her chair, almost falling over, but manages to stabilize herself.

"I'm okay, ladies and gentleman, I'm okay!"

"Interesting. I once had a major screw up, a thief tried to steal my gol- oh wait, that was a screw up for him. Once he tried that I freezed his brain ."

"There's not much to tell really. About a year ago an eccentric old wizard found me lying on the side of the road, barely alive. He used some sort of spell to save my life, I don't really know the details, but when I woke I found most of my memories to be out of reach. I know that I grew up in the forest, and I can remember pieces of my life, but they're fuzzy. Any time I try to focus on something it becomes harder and harder to see. When I saw how the Stealer was able to manipulate people's memories I thought I might have finally found something that could help me remember, but it seems that power is beyond even his knowledge."

Jeaux looked to the floor, somewhat dismayed. It wasn't easy talking about his past, or lack there of.

"But enough about me. From what you've said in conversations, it seems you've had a rather interesting past yourself, especially for someone so young."

"I would like to apologize for my drunken behavior, furthermore i won't press last quest matters no further, unless any of you want it" Arnulf said to his teammates

As Drake hid a few meads and beers and stuff behind a chair, he didn't seem to notice anything... unusual. He looked around. Nobody had seen him hiding his loot.

Perfect.

Or, it would be if it weren't for the fact that everything felt cold. The walls, the floor, the chairs. Even the fire! Drake knew that something wasn't right, and he would find out or his name wasn't....

"DRAKE!"

Everything shook, lights went out, everybody froze, literally! Drake could only see a small, glowing, red crack by the Quest Board. As Drake stared at it, it seemed to grow, and as it grew, Drake stared more.

Then, the now giant pit splitting the Earth in half burst into giant flames and Drake was more nervous every second.

Soon, the crack grew big. The frozen statues that were once people fell into the crack. Drake could only wish it ended so soon.

Then, the shaking happened to be of use. As Drake cowered in the corner of the hall, a small glass of Mead rolled across the floor towards Drake. He looked at it. He suddenly knew what to do. He picked up the glass and he drank it.

And then, everything went back to normal. People were walking around, and Drake was holding a full glass of Mead in his hand, about to hide it.

OOC: I'm going to assume this was all in your head, xxlrocka, if not, we're calling in paranormal investigators.

Karie took note of the pointy hat mages comment about the pickpocket, and gives him a rather offbeat look.

"Riiiiiight..."

She then turned to Arnulf, who had just apologized for his outbreak.

"Look, I understand why you're mad, I'm glad you expressed yourself, but next time don't go on a drunken ramble again. If you feel you want to talk about, then we'll go someplace else to talk about this."

Karie looked about and sat properly in her chair. Pulling out her dagger she scratches "Karie's Table" into the tabletop.

She then begins to fidget with her dagger.

"Yeah, i guess i need to talk with everyone about it, i want to know the motives for party decision to do Stealer's request" Arnulf said

Karie looked about her, then leaned into Arnulf.

"Let's keep what happened there and the Stealer to ourselves." She sat up and went over to Em at the bar. She managed to grab a seat next to Em's.

"So, you willing to talk now?" She wouldn't take no for an answer.

"I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to Em!" She replied.

"But he usually takes a while to come up with answers, so yeah, lets go talk."

She takes him over to the crowded bar so she could talk with Em at the same time.

"Alright, you've obviously got a lot on your mind, so lets hear it."

Sir Brickington left the bar went to a very quiet place in the hall. He went there and dozed off a little. He had visions of his dearest girlfriend that he left back in his homeland. He never talked about her, to no one. He wondered what she was doing. How had she been? He kept on having more and more visions of her. He went in and out of sleep still having the visions. Then he started having visions of his father telling him that it was a wrong choice to leave Kingship to go the Heroica. With that he woke up instantly. Sir Brickington talked to himself out loud, "What am I doing here? I left my whole life behind. I left my love behind. I left my legacy behind."
