Brickdoctor Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 This is just ridiculous. This saloon is a bomb ready to explode. I'm going to go take a walk. Maybe I'll buy a horse for Questing. I politely excuse myself and exit the Hall. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Cronk go, too. Cronk sleepy. Cronk find inn and take nap. Cronk thank pretty Scheherazade for buttermilk. Quote

Peanuts Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 "I am pretty sure I've signed in for Quest one as well. ", Henry complaines. "But nevermind, I'll do it again", he adds and writes his name down again. Quote
The_Customizer Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 I might as well as sign up for Quest 1 as well, it might just be worth it. Quote
dragunov Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Erdathcath quickly retreated right on the heels of Trotter. Back at the Hall they told everyone what they had discovered. "It was MASSIVE. What the Orcs are planning on doing with this beast we don't know, but we must be careful, if one of us was to discover these creatures on a quest, who knows what may happen. Everyone keep alert." Warned Erdathcath, as she quickly got another cup of green-lea for her and Trotter. I will join you in this talk, as I would like to find out what they are like, so I can be better prepared. A pot of your finest Jasmine tea please, barmaiden. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 I will join you in this talk, as I would like to find out what they are like, so I can be better prepared. A pot of your finest Jasmine tea please, barmaiden. "Down worry mate, false alarm. It was a protest march." Quote
Peppermint_M Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Hesitating at the door, Tesni stopped to listen. She had avoided the hall after hearing rangers shouting about Orcs and Barbarians in a bad way as she returned from sight seeing. Now, having waited for a while she hoped to be able to return for her evening repast and a little light ale that must have been brewing locally. If the talk against barbarians continued she might just stay out of sight until her friends returned. Quote

Mind you, we were not accusing you or any other Barbarians here, but we did see some barbarians there. Quote
Sisco Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Jess walked up to the door of Heroica Hall. Seeing her friend Tesni hesitating to go in, Jess was concerned. "What's wrong, Tesni?" Quote
Peppermint_M Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 "Ah, it just seems that here down low there are many who would see barbarians as the bad. People jump to bad ideas. I know there is no ill feeling to me here, but it is better to be in the company of friends yes?" Quote
Sisco Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 "Much better indeed, Tesni. Too bad about the prejudice. Show's how ignorant some people are, eh?" Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Seeing that things seem to have calmed down, I turn my new horse over to a stable boy and reenter the Hall. I order a drink and some stew and sit down at an empty table to wait. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 "Much better indeed, Tesni. Too bad about the prejudice. Show's how ignorant some people are, eh?" "Yes it is, now tell me about that inn you stayed at" Tesni yawned "I have yet to sleep in a bed!" Quote
Jebediahs Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 (edited) Oblivious to the mindless chatter going on throughout the Hall, En Sabah Nur approaches the Quest Board and uses his index finger to magically inscribe his name to Quest #3: The Missing Matriarch. He pauses a moment and also adds his name to Quest #2: Looking Through the Wares. En Sabah Nur, Level 1 Mage 29 year old human male Power: 4 | Health: 5/5 | Ether: 5/5 | Gold: 5 Inventory: Sangriste Dagger (WP: 3), Garnet Gem, Bedroll Edited August 18, 2011 by Jebediahs Quote

"Come on then, I'll talk to the innkeeper and get you a room." Jess and Tesni walked to the inn. Jess talked to the innkeeper, who gave Jess a room key, which Jess gave to Tesni. Quote
The_Customizer Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Oh good, another mage! It's about time we have someone other than a bunch of trigger-happy rangers and a few barbarians. Quote
Fives Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Trotter woke up from his long sleep feeling well rested, but hungry. He made his way downstairs and asked for a mug of ale and some rabbit stew. "Good evening Lady Madilinis. How has your day been?" Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 I've been up late the past few nights and I shall go to sleep early, plus I'm eager to try out my bedroll. Bacari unrolls his roll by the fire and puts his gold in a safe spot. Now the most important thing. Bacari loads his crossbow and hugs it as he lays down, ready for use, and the purple cloak makes him even warmer, and starts to try and go to sleep Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Bacari loads his crossbow and hugs it as he lays down, ready for use, and the purple cloak makes him even warmer, and starts to try and go to sleep Are you sure you want to hug it? If it gets triggered... There are other ways to have a weapon ready for use while you sleep. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Are you sure you want to hug it? If it gets triggered... There are other ways to have a weapon ready for use while you sleep. Don't worry, I am sure. This is the most reliable weapon ever, it never, ever, ever misfires. Name some times something went wrong with this crossbow. (Quote it) Quote
UsernameMDM Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 (edited) Hoke Abelsword enters Heroica Hall with a pleasant smile. He greets those he passes by on the way to the Questboard. He considers carefully each quest on the board. Hoke picks up the nearby quill, dips it into the ink vial and writes his name under Quest #1 and Quest #2. Hopeful to be selected, Hoke makes his way upstairs for a warm meal and a chance to hear tales of grand adventures. Hoke Ablesword signs up for Quest#1: Harvest Time and Quest #2: Looking Through the Wares. Edited August 19, 2011 by UsernameMDM Quote
Fives Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 (edited) Trotter sits by the fire in a rocking chair and lights his pipe. His feet dangle above the floor as he rocks back a forth, slowly nodding off to sleep. Edited August 19, 2011 by Fives Quote
UsernameMDM Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Hoke returns from his trip to the Marketplace. He slides his pack off his back onto the worn wood floor and settles into a sturdy chair in the great room among the chatter, laughter and glow of the comfortable fire crackling in the massive hearth. Delectable scents escaping the settling kitchen fires mingle together with the lazy pipe smoke lingering in the air. He reaches down into his pack and checks over his supplies. Everything in order and set for adventure, a slight smile crease his face as Hoke retrieves a whetstone from his pouch and begins examining his trusted longsword for burrs and blemishes. He is eager to be selected for a quest. Quote
