Although that is what I would have expected from a rogue, I wasn't expecting that from Arnulf. The name's Sir Brickington by the way. I served along Arnulf in our last two quests.

Sarge mutters as Thalion leaves the hall: "Oh, that's the best diplomacy out there."

A burly nord swaggers into the hall, chugging tankard as he goes. Haldor takes a glance accross the faces of the hall's occupants, until he spies Alexis talking with another elf that he doesn't know. He grins, perhaps now would be a good time to have some fun. The norseman takes a seat nearby and plants his heavy boots on the table the two were sharing.

"Greetin's; Alexis, lady, what'd I miss? I'm Haldor, by the way, and what would I call you?"

The elf looked to be a conservative, unaccepting type. The shaman downed the last of his ale.

Alexander enters briefly in the Hall and after seeing the open Quest he signs up for Quest 64: Discord in Duplovia. Then he left to the marketplace.

Nerwen sees Alexis lean away from her.

She is silent for a while, pondering her words.

You are young, you will find yourself in time. Of that I have no doubt. As to whether it is on this path, I cannot say. It is not my place to choose for you.

But I am always here for you if you have questions about what you read. As I said, I have seen much and know one end of a lash from the other.

"Bit rude, but hey ho. Since you kind of asked, I've been up around town, takin' a look at recent developments. After all the effort we put into stoppin' Wren, I'd hoped that at least something would have changed... but no, it's all the same, right up until someone else turns bonkers. Part of me feels it weren't worth it, but that's a part I don't give much time to."

He paused.

"So, you gonna introduce me to your friend?"

Boomingham walks back into the Hall, having once more checked on Servus and making sure he was still alive and well. The quiet brute of a man had adapted well to city life, shopping for himself and eating well, though he seemed to spend most of his time in his room alone. Even when Boomingham visited, they only spoke in short phrases, making sure everything was alright.

The day with the Zeigfrieds had been long, and Boomingham is tired. He walks up to the bar and orders a drink, settling into that groaning bar stool without so much as glancing around.

[Chromeknight]

I'm Haldor, by the way, and what would I call you?

Nerwen gently moves the book from nearly under Haldor's feet on the table and slips it into Alexis' bag beside the table.

Stars shine on us, Master Haldor. I am Nerwen Calmcacil. A shaman, as you also appear to be. And from the north if your clothes are any indication. Do you know the for-edan Eric? I recently quested with him.

Do you know Mistress Nyx? indicating the other girl sitting at the table.

Speaking to Nyx she said You have been very quiet, was you last quest difficult?

[Endgame]

I caress my temples as I walk into the hall, a blasted headache settling over my mind as I walk through Eubric. I was practcially falling apart at this point... So many heroes walk in with a myserious aura or a intriguing air, and I just waltz right on in with a migraine. I believe my father would call that "juxtaposition."

I give a nod to the heroes I recognize as I walk across the hall, trying to find the table farthest from the window. Sunlight and poudning headaches do not mix... As I walk by Alexois's and Nerwen's table, I stop to give a quick hello. I rase my eyebrow as I catch a quick glimpse of the book Alexis was reading. By Helvetia, it must've been atleast 4 centureis since I last had a encounter like that - and yet, there she was, reading the encylopedia of them!

"Nerwen, Alexis - how has life been treating you?"

I turn to the Nord and offer my hand.

"Ah, and you too. I'm Sorrow -pleasure to be of acquitance."

[Chromeknight]

Nerwen nods at Sorrow's greeting.

I am well thank you rogue. And yourself?

[Endgame]

"Helped some Ziegrieds - or, children of them, rather. One of the Ziegfired boys got himself transformed into a frog, and we had to track him down. I wasn't aware there was a crime syndicate in Eubric dedicated entirely to just guarding a frogpond..."

[Masked Builder]

Alexis nods to the other assassin. She leans back in her seat, as their table becomes a major crossroads.

[Endgame]

"Ah, I apologize if I've interrupted your.. studies."

[Masked Builder]

"Oh no not at all really. We were really just finishing up."

Thalion wanders back in the Hall and stops at the Quest Board. "Hmm.... Some interesting quests are open." Thalion signs his name under quest #64 and #66.

I was, at the very least, questioning her choice... but it wasn't my place to assert my belief.

Boomingham nods as Nur approaches. He hasn't seen the rogue for a long time. Over his shoulder he sees Sorrow, and his mind races. He turns to Barty.

"Do me a favor, would you?"

"What?"

"Can you carry gold? Swords?"

"I am an Angel. I have a few tricks up my sleeves."

Boomingham tosses his grubby bag of gold, a few venoms and potions, and his swords to the Angel. The items seem to be swallowed into thin air.

"Now, get out of here. Don't let him see you."

"Are you learning to not trust the heathens?"

"Nur is absolutely my friend. Doesn't mean I trust him."

Barty darts out of the Hall to go shopping.

"Hello, Nur! How are you?!"
